Great little spot very close to town.

The house was perfect for us. The area is beautiful and we had a blast at the River with the kayaks and paddle boards.

The house is on the older side and not fancy by any means, but it had everything we needed - including great water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers and a washer and drier, which was helpful because the kids got so muddy playing in the River.

The owner was also super responsive when we had questions. We would definitely rent again!

A lovely getaway in the woods. The windows let in so much light and you see the tree tops, so it feels like you’re in a treehouse! The deck and grill was great too!

The place is as advertised. Tony is readily available and is very accommodating. We had a small hiccup with the grill but it's supposed to be looked at.

It is dwfintely a charming cabin, ideal to forget the chaos of the city, and connect with nature. We really enjoyed its surroundings, the hot tub and of course the grill. We wanted to do the path recommended by Tony, but when we got there there was a dog without a leash hence it did not give us enough confidence to continue and decided to go back. Some things could be improved, like the cleanliness of the kitchen and the cleanliness if basement floor, we found a lot of pet hair, but a vacuum removed most of it. Tony was an excellent host, we definitely want to see other listings in near future!

Beautiful cabin! Tony is so helpful and communicative. This is a great and cozy retreat for a nice weekend getaway or adventure.

Lovely private location surrounded by young oak, blackgum trees and the calls of local birds. Nearby hiking trails were enjoyable and weren’t busy. The kitchen truly had all you could need. Quick and easy communication with host and super simple checkin. 4/5 only because of strong scent from 5 air fresheners but, I am sure they could be removed ahead of time if you’re sensitive to scents. Waking up to the birds and napping on the porch swing in the light rain were my favorite. Perfect place for a nature get away with all modern the amenities you need.

Great cabin in the woods! 9 of us comfortably stayed in this beautiful cabin out in the woods. It was peaceful and quiet and we loved the hot tub especially. Remember this isn’t designed to be a five star resort so if a piece of mismatched silverware is a problem or a small tear in a screen bothers you then this may not be your place. But it was clean and comfortable and a wonderful place to feel and observe nature all around. Host was communicative and helpful! Can’t wait to stay again!

My family loved the pool table, it was really hot when we were there so it was nice to relax inside. In the mornings we went fishing, n there was a small beachy area great for kids! So much fun!

This sweet little cottage was so welcoming! We stopped there on our way home from the OBX where we had shared a beach house with extended family and the peaceful environment here was so comforting following a lot of commotion. It is very private with views of the woods from every window. The beds are extremely comfortable! My kids (ages 4, 7, and 8) loved the loft and the fire pit. It was a win for them, even without us having time to visit the private lake area. We had no issues finding food/necessities near by... We picked up a few snacks and frozen pizzas at the dollar general (less than a 10 minute drive) and were completely set. I would not hesitate to book this same home soon.

My friends and I absolutely loved this house. The location was perfect. The home was located in a private community on the top of a hill, giving you tons of privacy and nice views. We took advantage of the private lake located within the community and swam all day. Tony was a great host and texted to check in each day to make sure we were happy. I’d definitely come back here any time!

This place is exactly as described. Very clean and good location. The interior is functional but not stylish. Everything was working and the beds were very comfy. For a short stay the cleaning fee becomes quite heavy.

This was a comfortable and relaxing stay. Good AC and wifi.
