This place was a relaxing retreat after checking out the Shenandoah valley. The river is only a short walk away and the view is amazing. It was also very nice to come back to a well air-conditioned house after the 90 degree day. Be warned, the road up to the cabin is definitely steep and rocky so 4wd (or confidence in your vehicle) would be ideal. We were so happy to be surrounded by nature, we even saw a lizard hanging out on the deck with us! At the end of the day, it was great to relax in the hot tub. I would recommend bringing along water if you aren't used to the quality in the area, I felt it was a little gritty for me but my partner thought it was okay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the Appalachians

Beautiful home with a beautiful view! We came through for one night on a road trip, and it was the perfect place to land. We enjoyed the sunset while grilling and were up with coffee for the sunrise, with some episodes of Great British Bake Off on Roku in between. Tony is communicative and thorough. Very grateful for a lovely stay!

Great place, wonderful location, quiet neighbors, and super clean. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Tony had excellent communication with our group which made finding the house, even off the beaten path, very easy. We had a lovely time and the house fit our needs perfectly. Would definitely book again for a future trip!

The place was beautiful

The view at the cabin is incredible! The cabin was clean and exactly as advertised. Tony was excellent at communicating and helping in anyway needed. Would highly recommend!

Positive:
Stayed overnight when travelling on I-81. The Chalet exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for three couples. It was much more fun to stay together in one home - and more cost effective than three hotel rooms. Fireplace was a little tricky, but host was easily accessible. Had us up and going in no time. We had pizza from a local shop in Inwood, and it was excellent. Everyone I met in the town was friendly and helpful. Maybe we will return for a longer stay.

Negative:
No complaints at all, but would suggest that the street number could be more clear to make initial search for the Chalet even easier.

Great host, definitely going back !

The location is absolutely stunning. It feels like you're up in the trees from the deck. There's massive windows that allow you access to that beautiful view even from inside. Boyfriend and I could only come up with one word to describe it-"idyllic". Seriously.

There were a few hiccups and a couple things that were out of order (hence the 4 stars instead of 5)-but Tony is a fantastic host and I have faith they won't be out of commission for too long.

You cannot ask for a better host than Tony. Extremely communicative and helpful.

Overall we had a fantastic time and would love to come back. The town is great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of views to see and cute places to grab a bite to eat. I've heard it gets pretty hoppin' on the weekends, but we missed that. (FYI-most of the town is closed on Tuesday's and Wednesday's.)

Very cozy and clean space. The loft is wonderful and very comfortable with beanbags and seating, great for hanging out! Really appreciated the prompt response to all questions.

This place is quiet and beautiful and offers a lot of choices for group or family activities. Our host Tony provided a lot of useful information about the neighborhood and the cottage, including a detailed manual. He's not on site but he has been really nice and helpful!
The cottage is really nicely furnished inside, and we can watch TV with our streaming account. It can get a little cold at night so it's better to turn on heater for a while before sleep. Overall the place is fantastic and is definitely worth staying.

This is a great location! The Chalet is clean & comfortable. The views are outstanding. It was easy to find, check in (touchless) was simple. The area is great - we found some local businesses that are really worth finding. Definitely coming back!

Tony's cabin was exactly what I was looking for when I was searching for a layover during my trip. It was clean, comfortable and very accommodating and most importantly, quiet! Being used to quiet and away from the main drag is what I was looking for and it gave me just that. The location was beautiful and I would highly recommend Tony and his cabin if peacefulness during your stay is your desire. Tony was also fantastic in communication with me during my stay! Tony, thank you and hope others fine this cabin as enjoyable as I did!
