amazing cabin. felt very romantic for a couples getaway!! very private, but doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. we usually drove about 45 minutes to hikes and shops.
place itself is insanely beautiful. i was just blown away by the view every single day. really nice having a grill and a hot tub!! great place to stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb. It has beautiful scenery, and the hot tub and grill make the experience absolutely perfect. Quiet spot, beautiful view, just the right amount of space inside, had all the essentials for a cozy getaway. Exactly what I was looking for. It was within a 45min to 1.5hr drive to some awesome hiking spots. There is a group of three cabins nearby on one side and a neighbor to the other side, but everything still felt private. I had good phone service, only really lost it for a short period a few minutes off the main road. The wifi was reliable too. And Tony and his team were super responsive.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Spotless all around, from the toilet to the stove and windows very clean. Beautiful view to wake up to everyday. The handyman Bill made sure the hottub never got low with it’s small leak(Will be fixed in warmer weather most likely). New laminated floor in the downstairs that is very nice. It’s a bit of a drive (30-45min) to most of the parks, shopping centers, or major trails. However with a stop at a grocery store about 40 minutes from the cabin. We were able to find everything else we needed/wanted in the small town shops. Jesse James Outlaw is a must stop. Thank you Tony!

Tony was responsive in working through a rebooking due to weather. The cabin was a cozy but simple place that felt like a private rustic cabin. The windows and views were incredible and among the highlights of the trip. My wife and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.

Perfect spot on Cooper Mountain to get away, enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and summits. Views from the loft bedroom were better than imagined from the Chalet windows. Tony always responded. They were flexible with check out days due to the Winter Storm 2026. Highly recommended this property. Especially if you enjoy older charm and true country living.

The good: Incredible location, wonderful view, comfy bed, plenty warm heaters and blankets, everything you need, fully appointed cabin, Mgmt very responsive via text. The bad: There were no working lights downstairs, aside from kitchen. Not just dim. No tub. There is no nature preserve or trails, contrary to listing (this was a reason for choosing this location). Cabin is overlooked by next unit, so be aware it’s not completely private. Bad situation redeemed: On day three, the septic backed up. They did send out Bill the handyman who verified the problem and helped to get me moved to another cabin. The rest of my week was brilliant. Like Bill said, “Attitude: The difference between an annoyance and an adventure.” I had an adventure.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Great scenery! You will love the beautiful view. The power did go out due to heavy winds. Tony had the power back on in less than an hour of notifying him. Therefore we were able to still enjoy the cabin. I highly recommend this cabin.

The view from Hickory Hill would be hard to surpass in West Virginia for daytime viewing and for stargazing.
The second-floor bedroom (big loft) also had an unbeatable view both day and night. The A-Frame window lets you see almost as much as if you were on the deck. The upstairs bathroom also had a nice view. The bed was comfy. The kitchen and open living room had everything I needed for a lovely visit. I did not use the hot tub but it looked clean and new. Tony was very responsive and helpful. I will be back in the future!

It was in a beautiful area. The views were amazing. The kitchen and BBQ grilll was great. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub. only the lighting was dim. We were able to watch shows on Netflix. the area was convenient for us to visit old town Winchester and take a Potomac Eagle train ride Sunday Brunch. we connected easily to the Internet but it was a little slow at first. We slept upstairs but there was also a downstairs bedroom. the heating worked well. the blankets were more that adequate and we slept well.

We enjoyed our mini vacation at the cabin. The cabin faces west so, the sunsets over the valley were beautiful. Was a perfect location for the two of us. Families with small children would be challenged as the ground around the cabin is pretty rocky and steep, so parents would have keep their eyes on your kiddos. We loved the peace and quietness. Cabin was comfortable with the AC units as weather was warm for October. We also enjoy Capon Bridge where there just happens to be a very good Mexican restaurant!

This was my very first time using Airbnb, and it could not have been a better experience! I stayed at the cabin for 3 days last weekend and had such a wonderful time. The host was extremely responsive and provided so many helpful resources, including restaurant recommendations and clear guides for how to use the cabin’s amenities. Everything was easy to access and made the stay stress-free. The cabin itself felt very cozy and homey, making it the perfect getaway. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be recommending this location to friends and family!

We had an amazing stay at Tony’s cabin in Augusta. From start to finish, everything was super smooth. Tony was incredibly responsive and helpful the whole time, which made things so easy. The cabin itself had everything we needed, hot tub was easy to work and clean, and the views? Unreal. Seriously, it’s one of those places where you just want to sit outside and take it all in. I’ve already recommended it to a few friends, and we’d absolutely stay again without a second thought.

The cabin is a great space for 1-4 guests. Open with lots of light, big windows and a great view. Very clean and comfortable. Easy to find and check in. Tony was super responsive and helpful. There’s not much to do in the immediate walkable area, but there are plenty of hikes and such in a 30-60min drive. Mostly a peaceful getaway retreat – perfect for that!

The View!! Come for the view. This is an absolutely amazing location that feels a world away from the hustle of life. Waking up from the loft and looking out over the valley was magical. However, don’t come for luxury, this cabin needs some updates, that I hope are done soon to make it as special as it deserves to be.

I booked this cabin as a surprise trip for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was the best decision I could have made! Tony’s place was even better than described. It was such a peaceful, beautiful property with the most amazing views, especially at sunset. We stayed at Tony’s place in January. The mountain top view is nice, but it can be extremely cold and windy. (Check the weather before booking)
When we checked in the house was unoccupied and took some time to get the temps up.
The kitchen is small but there is a grill in the deck. Basic cooking amenities are provided.
The night sky is so dark and full of stars. (Consider if you like stargazing)

We will definitely be back. Tony was extremely proactive and responsive as a host, we knew exactly what to expect prior to the trip. The property is GORGEOUS and the house was cozy and very comfortable – especially the master bed – a good mattress goes a long way. It was the perfect getaway for our wedding anniversary, we relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the peace. We also appreciated being able to bring our dogs. The neighborhood is private and secluded but easy to get to. We stopped in Capon Bridge for food and the Farmers Daughter was excellent! Thanks for an amazing experience.

Tony was a great host, very friendl y, and was constantly in touch with us to make sure we got everything we needed (within the rules set forth ahead, and what we really needed as well). The place is in a very quiet location, and within reasonable drivable proximity (to the national park). We spent a lot of time outside the home, came home only for sleeping and so forth. So, this worked out well for us.
The amneties were good for the level of use we anticipated. Overall, satisfied with our stay for the purpose we had in our mind.

Amazing week stay at this cabin. Tony is a amazing host responds immediately and communication with us was great. Tony offered clear instructions on how to operate anything on the property. Every appliance from the grill, Jacuzzi, kitchen worked as intended.
The best thing about this property are the views waking up and the evening time with the sun exposing all the mountains. Most beautiful and peaceful scenery you can experience.
Overall it was a great stay 10/10.

This place was amazing! Went on a birthday getaway trip and this place was exactly what we wanted. Very private and peaceful. The view in the morning was wonderful to look at. Beautiful location. Secluded. Amazing sunset views. Sitting room is great for sunrise and coffee. Went on cold weekend and the cabin was warm, plenty of hot water and amenities as expected from description of the property.
The communication from Tony was topnotch+. The “manual” provided everything needed to know about spending time there – even a YouTube video for using a lockbox!
It was a welcome escape from the suburban rat race. No loud neighbors, street traffic, etc. Completely quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Two thumbs up. We were hoping to spend more time outdoors, but it WAS January, along with wind, cold and snow. The views out the window and all around were lovely, and the cabin was cozy, once we got it warmed up, though a bit drafty downstairs. The stairs between the loft and the downstairs take a bit of contorting (especially for my very tall husband) to get up and down, but good, sturdy railings to grab hold of, which helped. We found all the kitchen utensils we needed to cook our meals. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water for showers and dishwashing, and easy to find what we needed in the kitchen. Some more small plates would be a nice addition, but all in all it was more than ample for 2 people. We’d love to revisit this area in the summertime, and Tony’s place at 555 Wild Boar would be a top choice!

We visited the cabin as the winter storm made its way across the country. The winds were so high that we decided to enjoy the cabin and not venture out to hike or explore the local area. The cabin is SOLID, the surrounding area very peaceful and quiet, and the views are amazing. The view is especially nice from the cozy loft. Due to the wind and temperatures, unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub or firepit. C’est la vie! I feel like this cabin offering is what AirBnB is all about–a host has a unique property and offers lodging at a fair price, and a guest has a unique experience that would otherwise not be available to them. (That is, the cabin is not glammed up with a matching price tag .) And a super-bonus is that pets are allowed!

Tony’s cabin had a gorgeous view of the mountains and it was truly in a secluded location. Our family enjoyed staying there for a weekend in Autumn. Do not expect a five star hotel, it is a cabin in the mountains. Everything was clean and the kitchen had the basics for cooking a quick meal. The heating worked well and the water for showers was hot. The firepit outside made our trip even more special. There was a hot tub too which we did not get the chance to use.

Perfect weekend getaway! The deck and oversized windows provided stunning views of the mountains and surrounding area. It was amazing to watch the sunset from that vantage point. The cabin was clean and cozy. Tony was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with.

The layout of the A-frame cabin is amazing with loft upstairs and full bath and downstairs bedroom with full bath behind the kitchen, and large windows in the living room! The view is spectacular and you could sit inside or outside all day studying the details inside and out!

Beautiful cabin with a million dollar view of West Virginina. View facing west so had great sunsets. really clean overall, with more than enough linens. Kitchen stocked with all necessary items to cook your own meals. There was a Peach festival at Romney, which was about 15-20 min drive from the cabin. had a peaceful retreat. Loved it and will come back again. Highly recommended.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Ferienhaus, hat dafür aber einen sehr hohen Standard: Zwei Queensize-Betten und zwei Duschbäder, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Essplatz für 4 Personen, Sessel+Sofa für 4 Personen, Gasgrill und Feuerplatz. Das Highlight ist aber der Whirlpool im Garten, in dem wir abends im Dunkeln die Sterne und Sternschnuppen beobachtet haben. Was das Haus aber wirklich besonders macht, ist die beeindruckende Aussicht und die ungestörte Lage in der Natur.

Beautiful view, amazing cabin, great hot tub. Very accommodating and responsive host. The view from the deck and the loft are worth it alone. Two AC units kept everything very cool during the hot days. Nice fire pit and always great finding a pet friendly spot. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to relax and recharge.

Tony’s cabin in the woods was exactly what we needed for our “mini-moon.” It was peaceful with a beautiful view and everything you need for an escape from the city. The patio was also an excellent location for birding! We’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!
As others have noted, I’d recommend driving in with groceries since there isn’t a supermarket nearby. The local restaurants were also quite good!

Beautiful cabin in an amazing location. A great spot to escape from the world for a few days without leaving any of the comforts behind. Watching the sun set over West Virginia’s mountains from the from the porch is enough to make you forget about why you needed the vacation in the first place. We loved staying at Tony’s! He was very responsive and helpful. There are even a few amenities you can’t see in the pictures – a grill, hot tub, and TV (which we didn’t use because the view was too lovely). The place was incredibly comfy and peaceful. It is far away (~30 min from nearest Walmart full grocery store) from a lot of things so I recommend getting groceries etc on the way in. Perfect get away!

Our weekend here was great! The views are stunning and give a feeling of tranquility. The host was communicative and polite. We had no issues and would recommend it. The loft bedroom is a nice touch and the windows give a great wake-up view. You can’t see in the photos, but the tv is above the dining table and has HDMI wires. Also, there were a fire pit and hot tub, but we didn’t get a chance to use them even though we would have.

I recently found out my dog had kidney disease, so for her final birthday I wanted to take her away on a peaceful trip in the mountains. We got more then we expected. The house and view were amazing, we were even able to stay an extra night due to no one booking the day we were supposed to leave. We definitely enjoyed our time and plan on making it back some day. This was a great weekend getaway! We enjoyed the amazing views and cozy feel of the cabin. It had everything we needed. We brought our meals and easily prepared them in the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed spectacular views for our morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Also enjoyed watching the “local residents” (several deer and a few turkeys) wonder about the property. Tony made the process very easy. We highly recommend this location, and look forward to returning!

A wonderful environment—a really awesome spot for a getaway! Tony was so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process.
One thing to keep in mind is that when we were there (February), it can get pretty cold in the cabin, especially at night. Luckily there were plenty of blankets though!
Overall we loved the cabin and absolutely adored HUGE windows showing an incredible view. If you like natural light, you’ll love this place!

I truly was in awe of this place. This was my first ever Airbnb booking and I could t have asked for anything better. It was so nice to get away and the views were just AMAZING. I looked at many properties around various areas of West Virginia, but this place really stood out and I am SO GLAD I booked here! The cabin is such a lovely, peaceful space. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing, too! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, exploring more of the area, and cooking dinner in the well-stocked kitchen. We saw a small herd of deer and some wild turkeys during our stay. of

Great location overlooking the landscape, which is exactly what we were looking for, it even snowed a bit on our first morning there! Although not an issue, the house gets VERY cold. There also was a lack of labeling for the lights, so it took a few tries to figure out the right combination to control the living room lights (middle switch up to the right of the TV, then the dimmer underneath the TV). Would definitely go back again!

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is beautiful! It was the cutest coziest little mountain cabin. We were beyond impressed by how clean the entire place was when we arrived. One of the absolute cleanest airbnbs I have ever been to. The place was well maintained and it had everything you could need from extra linens and blankets to coffee, tea, and other kitchen supplies! The hot tub was also a really nice touch. The whole property was very relaxing, quiet, and private. We had plenty of hot water too. There was even some firewood for the fire pit. Tony checked in on us frequently but not too frequently. Our dog loved the wooded area surrounding the house and really enjoyed the stay—-very dog friendly place as they noted! The perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation with an amazing view right before christmas! I have no complaints and would visit again! Highly recommend.

This is my second time around in this cabin and I’m still in love. It’s warm, it’s cozy, secluded from people and the city, and you get a gorgeous view. The addition of the hot tub was a definite plus. Tony’s very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Looking forward to coming back again next time 🙂

If you’re looking for a peaceful and private mountain getaway THIS IS THE PLACE! You just cannot beat the view, that was definitely the highlight of the trip! The cabin is nice and cozy and the view is spectacular. The large windows make it so enjoyable to watch the sunset and sunrise from inside of the cabin during cold winter days. We got to see dear every day so that was a bonus!!! Here are some things to keep in mind though:
– jacuzzi was nice and hot but it’s located behind the cabin, so not very convenient access to the front door.
– fire pit is located in the wooded area, which can be a bit hard to walk back and forth (my elderly mother in law wasn’t able to enjoy it).
– shower nozzles were tricky. Took a few tries to find the right temperature.
– pots and pans were a bit limited, keep that in mind if you’re feeding more than 2 people.
Besides that, Tony was an amazing host and very attentive and we will definitely be back! It was a trip to remember!

Tony is one of the best airbnb hosts we have had! No words can explain how amazing our entire experience. The cabin is the perfect size for our family. The location and the view is great, day and night. It is a nice get away from the cazy city life but also not too far from a dollar general store in case you forgot something. The cabin is clean, and complete with essentials. Wifi connection was strong. Heater worked good and water pressure and hot water was good. The hot tub with a view was awesome. We definitely will be back!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing getaway here. The location/view was breathtaking, and overall just a very peaceful area. The cabin itself is alright, it’s a comfy little space that could use some renovations. I loved the loft where you could look out the big windows to see the mountains and the sunrise. The showers didn’t really get hot water and ended up being cold. Everything was clean and it came stocked with plenty of towels. There is a Firepit off to the side of the cabin which was a nice experience. The hot tub was kindve a let down it took way too long to heat up. We expected to use it every night but only ended up using it once due to this. Overall I’d recommend staying here for a peaceful mountain getaway.

The place was beautiful: clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Amenities like the hot tub, bidet, rocking chairs, and a few others made the stay much nicer. We couldn’t figure out how to work the lights in the Den—we tried every switch to no avail—and our host never responded over the Airbnb app, but the cabin didn’t really *need* those lights. It just would have been nice to have. I was more concerned about if he would respond in an emergency—whether he saw my message and didn’t reply or never saw it at all. There’s absolutely no cell service at the place, and the WiFi is a little spotty, which made things a bit scary for city slickers like us imagining a bear around every corner.
This option was also a little pricier than others like it, but the view from waking up in the loft to the sunrise overlooking the valley was worth every penny.

A very comfortable and cozy stay. The view is amazing and the cabin was neat and clean. The perfect place to unplug and unwind. We really enjoyed the hot tub. There is a little store but I suggest bringing food with you. We would definitely stay again. Take advantage of the beautiful view and watch the sun rise and sunset. We had a minor issue that our host responded to immediately, very concerned that our stay be a happy one. Our only complaint is we didn’t book a longer stay!

We had our mini labradoodle with us and he had a blast. Highly recommend going to downtown Winchester and having a beer at Broken Window Brewery, they are dog friendly!

We stayed three nights here in August. The view is incredible and the space is ample. We especially liked the little work room nook as we were working on a media project. The cabin stayed plenty cool and the grill/kitchen was well equipped. The location is fantastic! I wish we could have extended our stay but tye time we spent here was a delight.

Stayed there for 10 nights with my 3 friends. It was amazing, almost no problems we faced. The view from the porch is stunning and perfect for watching sunsets. The interior design is on point it blends with the nature. It’s a good way to get away from cities and have a break from school. Tony was very responsive he is a great communicator.

The cabin is well equipped and clean. The view from the den and the front porch is breathtaking, especially at sunset. As you enjoy your coffee in the morning, you can watch big birds gliding in the sky as the air current is against the mountain. On the way to the place before the church, there is a small store selling fruit and some vegetables; If I remember correctly, it was called “Smiths.” We enjoyed stopping by and buying delicious peaches there. I also had a pleasant and short conversation with the lady owner, who said she was selling the produce grown by his son.

This is a wonderful and relatively secluded retreat that boasts incredible views. The chalet was clean, contemporary in it’s furnishings, and maximized it’s interior space perfectly with an awesome loft area and a fully equipped kitchen. The communication with the host was spot-on, not overly intrusive, but appropriately communicative and responsive. Check-in was easy and I had a fantastic experience. Highly recommended with no reservations.

Quiet spot, beautiful view, just the right amount of space inside, had all the essentials for a cozy getaway. Exactly what I was looking for. It was within a 45min to 1.5hr drive to some awesome hiking spots. There is a group of three cabins nearby on one side and a neighbor to the other side, but everything still felt private. I had good phone service, only really lost it for a short period a few minutes off the main road. The wifi was reliable too. And Tony and his team were super responsive.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Spotless all around, from the toilet to the stove and windows very clean. Beautiful view to wake up to everyday. The handyman Bill made sure the hottub never got low with it's small leak(Will be fixed in warmer weather most likely). New laminated floor in the downstairs that is very nice. It's a bit of a drive (30-45min) to most of the parks, shopping centers, or major trails. However with a stop at a grocery store about 40 minutes from the cabin. We were able to find everything else we needed/wanted in the small town shops. Jesse James Outlaw is a must stop. Thank you Tony!

The good: Incredible location, wonderful view, comfy bed, plenty warm heaters and blankets, everything you need, fully appointed cabin, Mgmt very responsive via text. The bad: There were no working lights downstairs, aside from kitchen. Not just dim. No tub. There is no nature preserve or trails, contrary to listing (this was a reason for choosing this location). Cabin is overlooked by next unit, so be aware it's not completely private. Bad situation redeemed: On day three, the septic backed up. They did send out Bill the handyman who verified the problem and helped to get me moved to another cabin. The rest of my week was brilliant. Like Bill said, "Attitude: The difference between an annoyance and an adventure." I had an adventure.

The view from Hickory Hill would be hard to surpass in West Virginia for daytime viewing and for stargazing.
The second-floor bedroom (big loft) also had an unbeatable view both day and night. The A-Frame window lets you see almost as much as if you were on the deck. The upstairs bathroom also had a nice view. The bed was comfy. The kitchen and open living room had everything I needed for a lovely visit. I did not use the hot tub but it looked clean and new. Tony was very responsive and helpful. I will be back in the future!

It was in a beautiful area. The views were amazing. The kitchen and BBQ grilll was great. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub. only the lighting was dim. We were able to watch shows on Netflix. the area was convenient for us to visit old town Winchester and take a Potomac Eagle train ride Sunday Brunch. we connected easily to the Internet but it was a little slow at first. We slept upstairs but there was also a downstairs bedroom. the heating worked well. the blankets were more that adequate and we slept well.

We enjoyed our mini vacation at the cabin. The cabin faces west so, the sunsets over the valley were beautiful. Was a perfect location for the two of us. Families with small children would be challenged as the ground around the cabin is pretty rocky and steep, so parents would have keep their eyes on your kiddos. We loved the peace and quietness. Cabin was comfortable with the AC units as weather was warm for October. We also enjoy Capon Bridge where there just happens to be a very good Mexican restaurant!

This was my very first time using Airbnb, and it could not have been a better experience! I stayed at the cabin for 3 days last weekend and had such a wonderful time. We had an amazing stay at Tony’s cabin in Augusta. From start to finish, everything was super smooth. Tony was incredibly responsive and helpful the whole time, which made things so easy. The cabin itself had everything we needed, hot tub was easy to work and clean, and the views? Unreal. Seriously, it’s one of those places where you just want to sit outside and take it all in. I’ve already recommended it to a few friends, and we’d absolutely stay again without a second thought.

We had a fantastic stay at Hickory Hill! The cabin was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and private - perfect for a relaxing getaway. Communication from Tony was excellent throughout, with clear check-in instructions and helpful reminders. He even checked in to make sure we were comfortable and offered local recommendations. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

The cabin is a great space for 1-4 guests. Open with lots of light, big windows and a great view. Very clean and comfortable. Easy to find and check in. Tony was super responsive and helpful. There's not much to do in the immediate walkable area, but there are plenty of hikes and such in a 30-60min drive. Mostly a peaceful getaway retreat - perfect for that!

The View!! Come for the view. This is an absolutely amazing location that feels a world away from the hustle of life. Waking up from the loft and looking out over the valley was magical. However, don't come for luxury, this cabin needs some updates, that I hope are done soon to make it as special as it deserves to be.

I booked this cabin as a surprise trip for my boyfriend's birthday and it was the best decision I could have made! Tony's place was even better than described. It was such a peaceful, beautiful property with the most amazing views, especially at sunset. We have stayed at a lot of different cabins, but we both agreed that we want to come back and stay at this one again. It was perfect!

Was a lovely weekend. This was the first time our family has ever stayed in a cabin and it would be a repeat experience. From the moment we arrived we immediately felt comfortable which led to the perfect weekend. Really appreciated that their was a hot tub available, though we never used it, but we did appreciate the firepit. Overall just a very pleasant experience.

My husband and I had a blast at the place! Beautiful views with a hot tub. Our only concern was that we didn't have hot water for three days. Tony was responsive but didn't provide any updates as to when it would be fixed by their handyman. We ended up fixing it ourselves the morning of check-out... There were urine mark behind the toilet seat. Gross. Fridge I have to disinfect as it has some hair and debris in it. Not coming back to this place.

We stayed at Tony's place in January. The mountain top view is nice, but it can be extremely cold and windy. (Check the weather before booking)
When we checked in the house was unoccupied and took some time to get the temps up.
The kitchen is small but there is a grill in the deck. Basic cooking amenities are provided.
The night sky is so dark and full of stars. (Consider if you like stargazing)

We will definitely be back. Tony was extremely proactive and responsive as a host, we knew exactly what to expect prior to the trip. The property is GORGEOUS and the house was cozy and very comfortable - especially the master bed - a good mattress goes a long way. It was the perfect getaway for our wedding anniversary, we relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the peace. We also appreciated being able to bring our dogs. The neighborhood is private and secluded but easy to get to. We stopped in Capon Bridge for food and the Farmers Daughter was excellent! Thanks for an amazing experience.

Tony was a great host, very friendl y, and was constantly in touch with us to make sure we got everything we needed (within the rules set forth ahead, and what we really needed as well). The place is in a very quiet location, and within reasonable drivable proximity (to the national park). We spent a lot of time outside the home, came home only for sleeping and so forth. So, this worked out well for us.
The amneties were good for the level of use we anticipated. Overall, satisfied with our stay for the purpose we had in our mind.

Amazing week stay at this cabin. Tony is a amazing host responds immediately and communication with us was great. Tony offered clear instructions on how to operate anything on the property. Every appliance from the grill, Jacuzzi, kitchen worked as intended.
The best thing about this property are the views waking up and the evening time with the sun exposing all the mountains. Most beautiful and peaceful scenery you can experience.
Overall it was a great stay 10/10.

We stayed here a family of four and 2 little dogs. The views were amazing. You could see for miles relaxing in the hot tub. Tony was very responsive and friendly as if we were friends! We had a true vacation. Kitchen had all we needed to cook and eat. It was very private and it was just the cabin we wanted for vacation!

This place was amazing! Went on a birthday getaway trip and this place was exactly what we wanted. Very private and peaceful. The view in the morning was wonderful to look at. Beautiful location. Secluded. Amazing sunset views. Sitting room is great for sunrise and coffee. Went on cold weekend and the cabin was warm, plenty of hot water and amenities as expected from description of the property.
The communication from Tony was topnotch+. The "manual" provided everything needed to know about spending time there - even a YouTube video for using a lockbox!
It was a welcome escape from the suburban rat race. No loud neighbors, street traffic, etc. Completely quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Two thumbs up. We were hoping to spend more time outdoors, but it WAS January, along with wind, cold and snow. The views out the window and all around were lovely, and the cabin was cozy, once we got it warmed up, though a bit drafty downstairs. The stairs between the loft and the downstairs take a bit of contorting (especially for my very tall husband) to get up and down, but good, sturdy railings to grab hold of, which helped. We found all the kitchen utensils we needed to cook our meals. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water for showers and dishwashing, and easy to find what we needed in the kitchen. Some more small plates would be a nice addition, but all in all it was more than ample for 2 people. We'd love to revisit this area in the summertime, and Tony's place at 555 Wild Boar would be a top choice!

We visited the cabin as the winter storm made its way across the country. The winds were so high that we decided to enjoy the cabin and not venture out to hike or explore the local area. The cabin is SOLID, the surrounding area very peaceful and quiet, and the views are amazing. The view is especially nice from the cozy loft. Due to the wind and temperatures, unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the hot tub or firepit. C'est la vie! I feel like this cabin offering is what AirBnB is all about--a host has a unique property and offers lodging at a fair price, and a guest has a unique experience that would otherwise not be available to them. (That is, the cabin is not glammed up with a matching price tag .) And a super-bonus is that pets are allowed!

There were a few issues we had right from the start. Here are the items that were described in the booking that are not actually available. No central air, no washer/dryer, no fully stocked kitchen, it had the bare essentials, no dishwasher, no bath tub. The setup in the living room is weird. The table was broken. This is a property is managed by a third party and the owner Tony seems to know little about it. The maintenance guy they sent was unable to fix a basic problem with the table. With all the issue we had I will say that Tony was very responsive and after I pointed out the lack of listed amenities he did offer a 100 dollar refund and sent out a maintenance guy. This is a beautiful cabin and the location was perfect. I just think the management company needs to be replaced because the basic maintenance is not being kept up. Also had many light bulbs out.

Tony's cabin had a gorgeous view of the mountains and it was truly in a secluded location. Our family enjoyed staying there for a weekend in Autumn. Do not expect a five star hotel, it is a cabin in the mountains. Everything was clean and the kitchen had the basics for cooking a quick meal. The heating worked well and the water for showers was hot. The firepit outside made our trip even more special. There was a hot tub too which we did not get the chance to use.

Kitchen stocked with all necessary items to cook your own meals. There was a Peach festival at Romney, which was about 15-20 min drive from the cabin. had a peaceful retreat. Die Unterkunft ist ein Ferienhaus, hat dafür aber einen sehr hohen Standard: Zwei Queensize-Betten und zwei Duschbäder, eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Essplatz für 4 Personen, Sessel+Sofa für 4 Personen, Gasgrill und Feuerplatz. Das Highlight ist aber der Whirlpool im Garten, in dem wir abends im Dunkeln die Sterne und Sternschnuppen beobachtet haben. Was das Haus aber wirklich besonders macht, ist die beeindruckende Aussicht und die ungestörte Lage in der Natur.

Tony’s cabin in the woods was exactly what we needed for our “mini-moon.” It was peaceful with a beautiful view and everything you need for an escape from the city. The patio was also an excellent location for birding! We’d definitely come back. Highly recommend!
As others have noted, I’d recommend driving in with groceries since there isn’t a supermarket nearby. The local restaurants were also quite good!

Beautiful cabin in an amazing location. A great spot to escape from the world for a few days without leaving any of the comforts behind. Watching the sun set over West Virginia’s mountains from the from the porch is enough to make you forget about why you needed the vacation in the first place. We loved staying at Tony’s! He was very responsive and helpful. There are even a few amenities you can’t see in the pictures - a grill, hot tub, and TV (which we didn’t use because the view was too lovely). The place was incredibly comfy and peaceful. It is far away (~30 min from nearest Walmart full grocery store) from a lot of things so I recommend getting groceries etc on the way in. Perfect get away!

Our weekend here was great! The views are stunning and give a feeling of tranquility. The host was communicative and polite. We had no issues and would recommend it. The loft bedroom is a nice touch and the windows give a great wake-up view. You can't see in the photos, but the tv is above the dining table and has HDMI wires. Also, there were a fire pit and hot tub, but we didn't get a chance to use them even though we would have.

I recently found out my dog had kidney disease, so for her final birthday I wanted to take her away on a peaceful trip in the mountains. We got more then we expected. The house and view were amazing, we were even able to stay an extra night due to no one booking the day we were supposed to leave. We definitely enjoyed our time and plan on making it back some day. This was a great weekend getaway! We enjoyed the amazing views and cozy feel of the cabin. It had everything we needed. We brought our meals and easily prepared them in the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed spectacular views for our morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Also enjoyed watching the “local residents” (several deer and a few turkeys) wonder about the property. Tony made the process very easy. We highly recommend this location, and look forward to returning!

A wonderful environment—a really awesome spot for a getaway! Tony was so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process.
One thing to keep in mind is that when we were there (February), it can get pretty cold in the cabin, especially at night. Luckily there were plenty of blankets though!
Overall we loved the cabin and absolutely adored HUGE windows showing an incredible view. If you like natural light, you’ll love this place!

I looked at many properties around various areas of West Virginia, but this place really stood out and I am SO GLAD I booked here! The cabin is such a lovely, peaceful space. The sunrise and sunset views are amazing, too! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, exploring more of the area, and cooking dinner in the well-stocked kitchen. Great location overlooking the landscape, which is exactly what we were looking for, it even snowed a bit on our first morning there! Although not an issue, the house gets VERY cold. There also was a lack of labeling for the lights, so it took a few tries to figure out the right combination to control the living room lights (middle switch up to the right of the TV, then the dimmer underneath the TV). Would definitely go back again!

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is beautiful! It was the cutest coziest little mountain cabin. We were beyond impressed by how clean the entire place was when we arrived. One of the absolute cleanest airbnbs I have ever been to. The place was well maintained and it had everything you could need from extra linens and blankets to coffee, tea, and other kitchen supplies! The hot tub was also a really nice touch. The whole property was very relaxing, quiet, and private. We had plenty of hot water too. There was even some firewood for the fire pit. Tony checked in on us frequently but not too frequently. Our dog loved the wooded area surrounding the house and really enjoyed the stay—-very dog friendly place as they noted! The perfect getaway for a relaxing vacation with an amazing view right before christmas! I have no complaints and would visit again! Highly recommend.

This is my second time around in this cabin and I’m still in love. It’s warm, it’s cozy, secluded from people and the city, and you get a gorgeous view. The addition of the hot tub was a definite plus. Tony’s very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Looking forward to coming back again next time 🙂

This cabin was perfect for a getaway! It is a very remote location but perfect to hang out in the rocking chairs, cook, and read. Tony was extremely communicative and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tony’s cabin! Perfect size for our family of four and great for my little kids. We really appreciated all the board games that Tony had available to keep busy. Everything was so clean. Would definitely come back!

If you’re looking for a peaceful and private mountain getaway THIS IS THE PLACE! You just cannot beat the view, that was definitely the highlight of the trip! The cabin is nice and cozy and the view is spectacular. The large windows make it so enjoyable to watch the sunset and sunrise from inside of the cabin during cold winter days. We got to see dear every day so that was a bonus!!! Here are some things to keep in mind though:
- jacuzzi was nice and hot but it’s located behind the cabin, so not very convenient access to the front door.
- fire pit is located in the wooded area, which can be a bit hard to walk back and forth (my elderly mother in law wasn’t able to enjoy it).
- shower nozzles were tricky. Took a few tries to find the right temperature.
- pots and pans were a bit limited, keep that in mind if you’re feeding more than 2 people.
Besides that, Tony was an amazing host and very attentive and we will definitely be back! It was a trip to remember!

Perfect cabin for getaway and relax . Beautiful views, the “Cozy Cabin” have all what you need . Tony is a wonderful host , always available and friendly.
I highly recommend this property, if you’re looking for relax in a spotless place …rent Tony’s Cabin !
Short distance for local restaurants , 30 minutes away from Winchester ( very nice old town) full in small restaurants for happy hour if you are looking for more action.

Tony is one of the best airbnb hosts we have had! No words can explain how amazing our entire experience. The cabin is the perfect size for our family. The location and the view is great, day and night. It is a nice get away from the cazy city life but also not too far from a dollar general store in case you forgot something. The cabin is clean, and complete with essentials. Wifi connection was strong. Heater worked good and water pressure and hot water was good. The hot tub with a view was awesome. We definitely will be back!

Tony's cabin is such a lovely little place on the mountain side with an incredible view! Tony was so helpful. We had such a wonderful time and really enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub and waking up and watching the deer grazing out on the hill side. Highly recommend this place! Spectacular host!!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing getaway here. The location/view was breathtaking, and overall just a very peaceful area. The cabin itself is alright, it’s a comfy little space that could use some renovations. I loved the loft where you could look out the big windows to see the mountains and the sunrise. The showers didn’t really get hot water and ended up being cold. Everything was clean and it came stocked with plenty of towels. There is a Firepit off to the side of the cabin which was a nice experience. The hot tub was kindve a let down it took way too long to heat up. We expected to use it every night but only ended up using it once due to this. Overall I’d recommend staying here for a peaceful mountain getaway.

The place was beautiful: clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Amenities like the hot tub, bidet, rocking chairs, and a few others made the stay much nicer. We couldn't figure out how to work the lights in the Den—we tried every switch to no avail—and our host never responded over the Airbnb app, but the cabin didn't really *need* those lights. It just would have been nice to have. I was more concerned about if he would respond in an emergency—whether he saw my message and didn't reply or never saw it at all. There's absolutely no cell service at the place, and the WiFi is a little spotty, which made things a bit scary for city slickers like us imagining a bear around every corner.
This option was also a little pricier than others like it, but the view from waking up in the loft to the sunrise overlooking the valley was worth every penny.
4/5 stars. Would recommend.

A very comfortable and cozy stay. The view is amazing and the cabin was neat and clean. The perfect place to unplug and unwind. We really enjoyed the hot tub. There is a little store but I suggest bringing food with you. We would definitely stay again. Take advantage of the beautiful view and watch the sun rise and sunset. We had a minor issue that our host responded to immediately, very concerned that our stay be a happy one. Our only complaint is we didn’t book a longer stay!

This was such an amazing place to spend our honeymoon. We could not have loved our time there more and hope to stay again soon. We loved the hot tub under the stars, the view, the loft, the kitchen, the games, the cozy chairs by the window, the peacefulness, and Tony's attentiveness to us. We can't wait to come back with our daughter sometime. 🙂

We loved Tony's cozy cabin! It has an amazing view from the deck and a hot tub you can enjoy when you're not busy staring over the sweeping West Virginia mountain ranges. The cabin itself was very clean with a nostalgic woodsy vibe. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing view, it was nice to sit at the recliner and watch the beautiful landscape drinking coffee in the morning! Sunset was also breathtaking. Cabin was clean and well stocked. We had our mini labradoodle with us and he had a blast. Highly recommend going to downtown Winchester and having a beer at Broken Window Brewery, they are dog friendly!

We stayed three nights here in August. The view is incredible and the space is ample. We especially liked the little work room nook as we were working on a media project. The cabin stayed plenty cool and the grill/kitchen was well equipped. The location is fantastic! I wish we could have extended our stay but tye time we spent here was a delight.

A cozy little cabin - perfect for our weekend getaway. Rarely can one find a pet-friendly place that is so clean. Tony is a great host; he was checking on us throughout our stay to make sure that we had everything we needed.

Stayed there for 10 nights with my 3 friends. It was amazing, almost no problems we faced. The view from the porch is stunning and perfect for watching sunsets. The interior design is on point it blends with the nature. It’s a good way to get away from cities and have a break from school. Tony was very responsive he is a great communicator.
Overall it was a great experience definitely recommended

The cabin is well equipped and clean. The view from the den and the front porch is breathtaking, especially at sunset. As you enjoy your coffee in the morning, you can watch big birds gliding in the sky as the air current is against the mountain. On the way to the place before the church, there is a small store selling fruit and some vegetables; If I remember correctly, it was called "Smiths." We enjoyed stopping by and buying delicious peaches there. I also had a pleasant and short conversation with the lady owner, who said she was selling the produce grown by his son.

This is a wonderful and relatively secluded retreat that boasts incredible views. The chalet was clean, contemporary in it's furnishings, and maximized it's interior space perfectly with an awesome loft area and a fully equipped kitchen. The communication with the host was spot-on, not overly intrusive, but appropriately communicative and responsive. Check-in was easy and I had a fantastic experience. Highly recommended with no reservations.
