Very nice, perfect cabin-in-the-woods experience. My kids loved playing in the creek. We never left the property there was lots to do between ping pong, walking trails, and the creek. We will probably return.

Tony was a great host! There were a few minor bumps but all was good and well. The bumps weren’t major and didn’t change the overall quality of our stay.

I will say, checking into this place was a bit of a hassle. We followed the directions to get to the gate, only to find that Constant Run Rd was closed due to the road being washed out. We then navigated to top gate, which the directions explicitly say is incorrect. Thank god one of my friends had enough cell service to reach out to the host via text. Thankfully the gate code we were provided did open the top gate, but the key was not at the top lock box. We then asked the host again where the key was, he said lock box number at the bottom gate. Upon navigating down to the bottom gate (that was closed) we opened the lock box only to find it empty. Thank god we drove back to the top of the hill to get a hold of him again, only to find the key was in a lock box at the house. It was a 2 hour adventure, so beware. Other than that. Tony’s house was beautiful and clean. We were able to use the small creek in the back, plus the hot tub and had an excellent time.

This cabin was a great place for a weekend getaway. It was very secluded and had everything we needed. Check in was easy and the directions we were given were all on point. The screened in porch was a highlight for us and was where we hung out most of the time while there. We would definitely stay here again in the future if we’re in the area.

Overall, a great host and a great place to stay. The location was convenient, and the space was comfortable and welcoming. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout our stay. That said, the house could use a bit of maintenance in some areas, but it didn’t significantly impact our experience.

Adequate for what we wanted! Great access to creek/nature. A great place for kids to run around and have a bonfire. Some of the dishes were not the cleanest, but we just cleaned before using. Lots of cords jumbled together on a table downstairs. Hard to access as we received two different types of instructions (one said lockbox to enter community and it ended up being a code that I had missed in a text that was not sent via Airbnb, but by text). A little bit tough to figure out how to get to the entry gate the right way despite directions provided (maps/GPS was incorrect as mentioned by host). Overall, it was good for a couple days in nature. Just make sure you are clear on how to get there!

We really enjoyed our time in the secluded woods here and practically lived on the sectional on the screened in porch. Beds were decently comfortable and the layout allowed everyone to have a good amount of privacy in their rooms whenever they wanted it (though one of the bedrooms downstairs technically didn’t have a door, it wasn’t a problem for us. The home was a little more lived in than we expected based on the pictures (a lot more signs and wires on the wall that kept it from looking neat and tidy, though it was clean). Overall, we really loved the time away and if we could do it over again, we probably would have stayed 5 nights instead of 3 just because everything was 20-30 minutes away and we spent a good amount of time driving to trails or grocery stores. It was so relaxing to be there, we didn’t want to go home.

Great location. Peaceful. Check in was a little rough, but that was more my inability to access the manual than the fault of the host. Cabin was as listed, though a bit more rustic than the pictures had let on (positive for us!). Hot tub was perfect addition to a surprisingly warm day. Plenty of seating throughout. Would recommend bringing extra towels as you are provided one per person, which can be rough when combining hot tub use and showering. Overall a nice relaxing stay. Love the screened in patio. Will definitely keep this place in mind for summer getaways.

Great cabin in a quiet area with everything you need for a relaxing trip!

We loved our stay here! The hot tub was great, I would recommend bumping up the heat as soon as you check in as it takes a while to get up there. This house was pretty clean and very welcoming. I would go again. We did have some trouble getting in the gate but I’m going to chalk that up to a user error. You have to put the code “very fast and hit the star button after” per my bf. There is a restaurant not far called the panorama public house that I would definitely recommend. The closest town of Berkeley Springs is adorable. Don’t miss the Almost Heaven Antique Clock Museum in town, it’s awesome and such a great example of someone following their dream later in life. Young Bloods Antiques was great too

Wonderful location with beautiful Mountain views. The wood stove was the perfect setting for a cold winter evening. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. We had a terrific time and definitely will make time to go back.

Our stay at this secluded cabin was exceptional. The property was thoroughly equipped with everything we needed, and the remote location provided perfect stargazing opportunities. One minor issue: there was some initial confusion between the Airbnb check-in instructions and the house manual (the house manual is correct). However, Tony had advised us to follow the manual beforehand. Overall, this well-stocked, peaceful retreat exceeded our expectations.

This cabin was amazing. Me and my family really enjoyed coming here. The only issue we had was going to the wrong gate but we found the right entrance. Other than that I would definitely come back and stay.

Exactly what it sounds like, perfect little getaway cabin tucked into the woods with enough amenities to keep everyone very comfortable. If I ever find myself in the area again I’ll 100% be booking again.

This could be a nice place… we wish we would have chosen a different location. The creek is a wet creek (only active if it rains), the hot tub is from 1982 (not literally), interior is a hodge podge of random things. It looks and feels like they bought the place as is, replaced the mattresses, pillows, sheets and pillow cases, and called it good. 4 cups in the cupboard, 2 of which were cracked and unusable (wine glasses as well). As I said, it has potential, but they need to do some serious updates. On the positive side, we loved the screened porch. There were also straps setup for a hammock, which we did bring with us. The AC works really, really well.

We enjoyed our time away. This place is not only dog friendly but dog welcoming! Unlike many other airbnb we have been to, you could tell they truly wanted your pups to enjoy vacation as much as you. The river was very nice and kayaks were so much fun. Check-in was super easy, and Tony communicated often to make sure we were comfortable. Not much to do in the surrounding areas but being at the cabin itself was relaxing.

We had a great time at this cabin. I understand that this is a cabin and going to have bugs ect, but the cleaning was terrible. There was mouse poop, dead bugs, left behind socks under the basement coach. There were left behind socks under the beds downstairs. The garage didn’t seem like it had been swept for months. The dishwasher was left still loaded and the smell from that was awful. We had to rerun the dishwasher 2x before the smell went away. The description says about there was a pump for tubes, pieces were missing, so that made us have to blow up 7 ourself. The main floor, no complaints beautiful wooden cabin. Very private and quiet. Nice easy access to the river which was super nice. Enjoyed the rope swings we found on the water. Had a great time at berkley springs. I don’t think the host is at fault with our stay. Definitely his cleaning service, which he said he was going to talk to them about. I do recommend this cabin but hopefully he hires a different cleaning service.

Place was definitely private and quite. Had a great time with the BBQ and fire pit. Dogs had a great time exploring the creek. was cozy and fun, would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway with friends or family.

Tony’s cabin is everything and more!! We had the best time roaming the property and the creek was the best background music a trip could have. The weather was perfect so we stayed out on the screened in porch most days and nights. I have stayed at a lot of Airbnbs properties and this one by far had the best mattresses! If you are looking to get away from it all and just be with your loved ones this is the spot!!

We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again! Check in process was kind of cumbersome – make sure you read host instructions carefully and make sure you download offline maps beforehand because there is no service nearby and you won’t be able to contact the host or anyone who may be meeting you there. But aside from that, we had a great stay! It was kind of a rainy weekend and the screened in porch was great to feel like you were outside even in the rain. The hot tub was probably the biggest hot tub we’ve seen at an airbnb which was great. There was decent space between all the houses which isn’t always the case in neighborhoods like this. We hope to come back sometime!

Very nice, scenic cabin. A little outdated and could use a little tlc and a handyman for some minor fixes. Other than that was a great stay and a very beautiful cabin! We had a very nice and relaxing stay! loved the firefit and screened in porch!!

We loved our stay. Tony was extremely proactive, instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow. we greatly appreciated. This place was exactly what we needed. Quiet, peaceful, lovely steam nearby we could hear all day. I loved handing out on the screened in porch.

We came for a Valentine’s Day /birthday getaway and it was the perfect cabin for us. Of note, we are a black and queer couple so we were a bit wary of being alone in the woods of WV, but we didn’t see any of the neighbors and walked around the cabin down to the creek multiple times a day without feeling unsafe. Big dog friendly and very clean. Beautiful cabin, we will definitely be back!

Tony’s place was a great getaway for a group of friends looking to do a cabin trip! It was in a beautiful and secluded location so it was easy to log off and relax for the weekend. The hot tub was amazing and clean when we arrived, as was the rest of the house. The only real issues we had was there were some areas of the house that smelled funky, and it was a little difficult to actually get into the house since the key/lock were not working well. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time here!

Beautiful location, lots of dead bugs everywhere, porch area has ripped screens one of our friends got bit by a wasp. Fire pit is awesome with a great view. Firewood may or may not be provided. Had great heating / cooling inside. Jacuzzi felt amazing. It was a nice stay with friends and our dogs loved it.

Overall we had a great stay here! The entrance gate was difficult to find with the provided instructions and the lock-box code was wrong on the Airbnb app (the host texted instructions with the correct code). A dropped pin or coordinates may have made finding the gate easier. The cabin itself was clean and spacious! Would recommend!!

Great rustic cabin back in a peaceful area! It was easy for our GPS to find, and led us to the right gate the first time. The cabin could use some work – several walls have cuts and chipped paint, some stains on furniture and rugs, and there are random things in every drawer and nook, like someone had just moved out and left it frozen in time. Some boxes and tools and trash on the deck. Queen bed was ok in terms of comfort. It was pretty clean but could have been better – we did not have trash bags, and woke up to coffee but no real sugar or creamer, which was a bummer with how far out you are. We ended up just going 30 mins to downtime Berkeley Springs for coffee and breakfast, but had wanted to enjoy coffee out on the screened in deck. Night before, we enjoyed sitting out on the screened in deck during a big storm. It was lovely! It’s really quiet and tranquil out there. We’d return and try to get out on the river with better weather.

A peaceful cabin experience!! This was my first booking experience with Airbnb, and it was smooth and easy. Tony was fantastic and helpful throughout the booking process and stay. Despite being located down and up several curvy, steep, and at times narrow roads, it was really easy to find due to Tony’s clear and helpful instructions! As others had mentioned, I would arrive during daylight hours when you first arrive if possible. The cabin was clean and surrounded by stunning woods in the back. There was plenty of room for a nice family trip with upstairs/downstairs rooms. We spent one day down at the river and it was a lot of fun utilizing the 2 Kayaks and 2 paddle boards. There are also some really neat hicking trails in the area, including a long tunnel that we enjoyed. Dog friendly was a big plus for us as well! Being out in the woods, you may see a bug here and there in the cabin, but nothing concerning, as you can tell that they keep it clean. I would definitely recommend!!

Tony was a pro communicator . We loved the big dinning room table where we sat around and shared lots of laughs and meals . The fire pit and hot tub were an added bonus . The only thing we should of brought were trash bags . We cooked every meal at the cabin all weekend and were only left two which filled up quick . Other than this we had no issues and was easy to check in and out .

Lovely cabin! Suitable for a lowkey family gathering. There are strict quiet hours, so you can’t party too hard after 9pm. The river nearby was excellent, very good for swimming and kayaking and just chilling for a few hours. We found some nice views on the hiking trails too. It’s pretty remote, and theres only one usable entrance to the neighborhood, so be prepared to drive a little while to do anything.

We rented the cabin for a quiet birthday weekend. Overall Tony did a great job providing us with accurate instructions and recommendations. The cabin was ideal for our two dogs, they loved the space! I would definitely recommend another stay, however, the cabin is in need of some heavy TLC as it’s visibly run down. Upon arrival we noticed the fridge was not clean along with the trash in the main bathroom. One of the beds had a leftover sock in between the sheets. The grill was heavily used and dirty – we ended up using our own. The beds were uncomfortable. That being said, the jacuzzi and the fire pit were excellent editions. The scenery was phenomenal and the lake was great!

Excellent little get-away near Cacapon State Park, Berkeley Springs, etc. Didn’t get to spend a lot of time within the cabin itself as we were busy during our trip, but lots of space and amenities onsite as well, such as the paddleboards and river, ping pong, a hot tub, etc. Would stay again!

What an amazing, gorgeous, peaceful escape! We initially booked 2 nights, and ended up staying a whole week! This property far exceeded our expectations, and led to sn impromtu, much needed, family vacation. We cannot wait to visit again as soon as possible!

Tony your cabin is awesome! Our stay would have been perfect but neither shower had hot water on check out morning. We were asked to leave promptly at 10. Our check out day was the first day of daylight savings and had zero time to troubleshoot the issue. We would love to stay here again if you will let us.

Beautiful, secluded house in the woods. Had a lovely overnight stay. Kitchen was well appointed (bring your own food!), beds were comfortable and the hot tub was perfect.

Positive: The directions to the place were perfect. The location is very quiet and had plenty of room for our family to spread out. We loved the fire pit and the wood burning stove! We enjoyed the ping pong table and hot tub! Even though we never got around to using the kayaks, we loved that we had the option. The host easy to get ahold of. Negative: The pellet stove downstairs wasn’t working and we couldn’t shut off the upstairs fan because a tenant had broken the chain.

The house is lovely, and very secluded. There are a couple of neighbors, but not too close. Beautiful floors, nice lighting, and comfortable beds. Plenty of room for multiple guests. The wifi, TV’s, hot-tub, ping-pong table, fire-pit, games & puzzles, and access to kayaks down by the community entrance provided plenty of entertainment. We spent a lot of time on the large screened-porch enjoying the sounds and smells of nature. When you stay here, be prepared to stay. Aside from a country store & an ice cream/burger stand 15 mins away, the closest town we found with a gas station, restaurants, and booze was Berkeley Springs, which was 30+ minutes away. About 20 mins in the opposite direction is PawPaw, which consists of a Dollar General and a gas station with a deli that made tasty breakfast sandwiches. There are more deer than people around, and the windy, and narrow gravel-roads traveling here make it clear that nature is the main attraction in this area. Come prepared, and you will absolutely love your stay here.

Everything was wonderful! All the wildlife and room to do things outside was great for a family and kids! I loved the early morning it was gorgeous! Tony made sure to communicate the entire time. Would love to come back again it was gorgeous and the cabin was so comfy! There are a lot of beautiful sights to see within an hour drive around the cabin as well I’d recommend. Great place for a family get away! The description of the place was surprisingly very accurate. We loved the hot tub and it can definitely comfortably fit 6 people. The drive to the river was ~3 mins with great kayaks / paddle boards to use. Plenty of room outside the 3 bedrooms for additional people to sleep. We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch, which is amazing. Will definitely be back again.

First of all, for context, this was a two day trip to decompress after 5 weeks of running a camp for teenagers. So we really needed someplace quiet and restful. This cabin was PERFECT. I was worried from a couple reviews about the cleanliness, but turns out my fears were unfounded, as it was pristine. Even the hot tub was completely clean, no bugs or dirt or anything. It was such a cozy cabin, it almost felt surprising that it could fit 8 people, but we had room to spare! We spent most of our time on the spacious screened porch, with couches and chairs and a table. The only tricky part was the fact that there’s no cell service around, which makes navigating the way to the correct gate tricky, but the cabin itself has great wifi and a phone so we didn’t have any trouble once we actually got there. The whole stay was exactly what we needed, so thank you Tony!

Make sure you download all information you wont have service from constant run rd to the cabin until you connect to wifi.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house and grounds weren’t spotless. We aren’t neat freaks so we overlooked it and had a nice time. The house is cute. Setting is nice. We enjoyed kayaking and relaxing in the hot tub. Tony is very available if you need him.

Beautiful area with and great home for a getaway.

This is the perfect place to relax and get away from the grind. My favorite area was the screened in porch where I spent hours reading, but the hot tub was also a nice bonus. The cabin offers plenty of space and activities ranging from movies, puzzles, and books to kayaks, paddle boards, and tubing on the river nearby. If you like being in nature with the comforts of home, you will truly love this property!

The house was perfect for us. The area is beautiful and we had a blast at the River with the kayaks and paddle boards. The house is on the older side and not fancy by any means, but it had everything we needed – including great water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers and a washer and drier, which was helpful because the kids got so muddy playing in the River. The owner was also super responsive when we had questions. We would definitely rent again!

Great cabin in the woods! 9 of us comfortably stayed in this beautiful cabin out in the woods. It was peaceful and quiet and we loved the hot tub especially. Remember this isn’t designed to be a five star resort so if a piece of mismatched silverware is a problem or a small tear in a screen bothers you then this may not be your place. But it was clean and comfortable and a wonderful place to feel and observe nature all around. Host was communicative and helpful! Can’t wait to stay again!

Tony was a great host! He helped us as much as he can! He even let us check in earlier than usual but it was tough check in cause it was 8-9 pm when we arrived that area. Roads were dark and there was no connection. If we wanna come back there, it is gonna be morning time for sure! Other than that super cozy atmosphere, in the middle of the forest! Hot tub would be more cleaner but that was a great experience as well! We were 5 people and stayed at upstairs cause it was a way warmer than downstairs! Kitchen was perfect. Having a nice time by the forest, sound of river and fresh air! Thank you Tony!

Great place to spend time with our family!

This Airbnb experience was very good. The location was beautiful and quaint. Tony was a great host who was in constant communication with me if I had questions or concerns. The beds were a little hard and there wasn’t a central heating unit, so we relied on a wood stove heater, which only helped out in certain rooms. The hot tub was great.

FYI the lake in the pictures isn’t right by the house, but down the road. However there is a lovely creek in the back that makes for a beautiful natural sound machine to listen to on the porch.

We enjoyed our stay at Tony’s place. It’s in a beautiful wooded setting and feels very secluded. The hot tub was great and the place is comfortable and homey. Check in was easy and Tony was very communicative throughout our stay. One thing to note if you’re going in the winter – there is no heat in the downstairs bedroom. It was okay for us, but would have been more comfortable if we’d brought warmer pajamas and extra blankets.

We had a great Christmas weekend at Tony’s place. It has everything for a fun staycation – fire pit, hot tub, TT table, grill and dog friendly (best part)! hot tub is very cozy and has a great view. Once you figure out getting to the cabin and get used to the bad cellphone reception, you can truly unwind. Tony was an excellent host and accommodating with the last minute addition of another pet.

This cabin was a relaxing get away from the noisy city. You can relax as you’re surrounded by nature. It had everything we wanted from a fire pit, movies and best of all a hot tub. I took my kids to walk around the area there is zero traffic so I didn’t feel nervous when they let go of my hands. It was a very family friendly trip.

Great gateway cabin. The area is beautiful with access to a river and mountains. The house was equipped with everything needed and easily fit our group of 10. The area is very quiet so be mindful of the noise outside if you’re a large group specially after quiet hours. Tony was great in communication and checked on us whenever needed. Would definitely come back here again!

Visited in the Fall and the experience was tranquil and serine. Cabin was rustic, clean, and had modern conveniences.

Great relaxing cabin in a secluded neighborhood. We went to Berkeley springs for breakfast and checked out the local Cat Cafe, Purrs! We did get lost upon arrival, the address took us to the sideling entrance. We didn’t have service so we used the map to find the only other entrance. Highly recommend getting there before sunset to prevent any confusion upon arrival. Also, download your maps and be prepared to lose cell service!

We absolutely loved Tony’s cabin – much bigger than it looks in pics! We traveled with two toddlers and the layout of the house is great, we had adults upstairs and kiddos in their own space downstairs. The property is beautiful, fire pit was so much fun. The hot tub was a perfect little add on for a crisp night. Very secluded. Kitchen accessories are great, alot of pots and pans to choose and layout/open floor plan made it really nice to be able to cook and hang out at the same time. The huge screened in porch was so nice to just relax in as well. Tony was great, extremely accommodating. We had great contact and conversation and he responds super quick. If you are toggling between a few choices to stay in WV – choose this one. You won’t be disappointed. The house is great.

Our stay at the cabin was great! It was very comfortable and clean inside, and everything worked perfectly. Being able to grill and chill next to the firepit made for a perfect cabin getaway for the weekend. Make sure to read ALL the directions so that you arrive at the cabin smoothly (we learned the hard way). It was such a fun weekend trip with the family and I highly recommend!

If you’re looking to get away from the city, enjoy fresh air, nature, privacy, and a beautiful little lake, *and* be literally unable to answer that work call on your day off (HUGE perk) — this place is great. My friends and I enjoyed a couple of nights playing games, sitting outside either by the fire or in the hot tub, a beautiful afternoon at the small lake beach nearby, and generally gathering to celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding. Also — the lack of cell service didn’t affect wifi so we enjoyed a ceremonial re-watching of Independence Day on the smart tv 🙂 It was comfortable enough, and with a few of us bringing hammocks to sleep outside (super fun, particularly with an insect net!), the seven beds worked great.

A fantastic location, far (far!) away from the crowds. Peaceful and quiet, and we had the neighborhood beach on the Cacapon River all to ourselves each weekday. The cabin itself promises a bit more than it delivers; it has a slightly run-down feel, with quirky lighting and torn screens. Not quite what we were expecting, but nothing that detracted significantly from the pleasure of our stay.

Such an amazing family house to enjoy! We went in the middle of the summer. Very quiet area with houses very spread out. The hot tub, firepit, outdoor screened in deck, and ping pong table kept us entertained for hours. With a close river about 5 minutes away (included with inner tubes and kayaks) we had a blast. Extremely nice accommodations, Tony was very prompt to respond immediately if needed. Highly recommend!

Great isolated house in the woods

Great, private cabin in the woods. The Nut House was everything it claimed to be. Tony responded to all my questions within a few minutes, every time! We had deer in the yard our first night. The cabin is well maintained. There are lots of puzzles, games, DVDs, a ping pong table (which my sons really enjoyed), a hot tub, and a fire pit. My 84 year old mother loved to sit in the screened in porch and watch the boys play corn hole or throw football. We went to the river and used the kayaks, inter tubes, and paddle boards. All in all, if you go there knowing it’s in the woods so you will probably see a mouse, and have bugs, you will really enjoy yourselves. We had a great vacation there.

Such a great place! The scenery is so beautiful and peaceful and the river is very lovely. My kids were so happy playing in the river. We tried stand up paddle boarding and went tubing! The porch is great and comfortable and all the couches and space are nice for families or friends hanging out. Our multi-generational family of 6 plus a dog had plenty of space, even on rainy days. The hot tub was really nice and the fire pit was too. I loved that there is a full size washer and dryer and a dishwasher. You will need to drive down to the river-but it’s not too far and the drive is hilariously steep. Important note! The coffee maker is a Keurig, so bring pods or be prepared to make coffee using a colander and a coffee filter over a coffee carafe like we did! There is very little cell service in the area which is nice but is a thing to keep in mind, the wifi at the cabin works really well and we could use streaming services on the TV with no problem. The kitchen is very functional but on the older side, the one side of the range is a griddle which is just awesome for making pancakes! They have some pretty decent non-stick cookware with many appropriate kitchen tools, and many grill tools as well. Not sure where they are hiding their matches though, so make sure you bring a lighter or matches for the fire pit and all your other fire-starting needs. Some of the roads to the cabin are gravel and some are SUPER steep. No problem in June, maybe more of a problem in the winter months? Also, I’m still not sure where the best place to put in and get out for tubing is. The Cacapon River seemed pretty slow moving and we were there right after a pretty big rain storm. I REALLY liked that because it was safer for my kiddos (AND there are 4 adult and 2 child life jackets at the cabin). Make sure you bring your own beach towels, we did, but I didn’t see any at the cabin. Next time I will try an organized tubing adventure, but they seem to be operating Thursday-Sunday only right now. We decided to try some DIY tubing and it ended up being a pretty zany adventure.

This place is super cute and very close to nature! People looking for some getaway away from phones and close to nature, This is the place. Our two dogs really enjoyed the place as we did. The house is as displayed in the pictures. Tony was super responsive and very helpful. It has everything one can wish to say as home. Will be coming again.

Tony is a fantastic host and is great in terms of always keeping in communication. You can’t go wrong with any of his Airbnb’s, and this is no exception! This is a great choice for a cabin in the woods experience (with gated entry, so it’s a private neighborhood!). There are plenty of beds for a bunch of people to stay. This Airbnb is dog friendly so of course we had to bring our dog, who enjoyed his stay with us! The amenities are fantastic- the hot tub, the fire pit, the grill, and the private access to river with 2 single-occupancy kayaks and 2 paddle boards! Note that the river is about a 5-minute drive from the house, depending on how fast you drive. Make sure you understand the check-in instructions and to screenshot them before you get to the house, as there is little to no service in the area. Consistent with other reviewers, be aware that this house is a bit on the older side. The furniture and house itself could use an upgrade. Be sure to bring bug repellant because you are basically living in the forest, as expected for this quiet getaway in the woods!

Staying at the Nut House was such a lovely experience! The only con was that on the directions, the lockbox code is different than the one in the manual, which is the actual code, so this should be changed. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and watched quite a bit of Harry Potter on the downstairs TV! Tony was also very quick with responding to my questions, and gave great suggestions on places to go. Thank you for have an off-the-grid space for us to relax in.

Fantastic amenities, exactly as advertised. Very precise check-in instructions that made finding the place and getting settled very easy. Tony was very responsive and went above and beyond by offering local recommendations. Highly recommend!

Great place to get off the grid with friends or family. Recommend bringing food and firewood as it’s a bit of a ride to the closest store.

The Nut House is lovely to get away to. It was perfect for our friend group, accommodating to those who love the outdoors as well as those who’d rather stay inside and enjoy the in-house/deck areas and amenities. It was a beautiful and inviting home.

We arrived to the cabin without issues and the provided instructions to find it were very clear. The place was homey and welcoming with lots of space to relax. In general, we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and we had plenty of lounge space to eat and relax afterwards. The couches and lounge furniture were comfortable, and the dining table was great for our group of 9 to eat all together. The fire pit outside was a nice add on! Especially at night when the temperature was a little chillier. The only downside is that we had to go back to the store (30min drive) to get our own wood. During our stay, there were a couple of minor mishaps that were out of our host’s control; we lost power for about 7 hours, which also stopped the water supply given that it’s dependent on a pump. Tony was quick to respond to our texts during this time to provide updates of the situation, but we had to just wait it out. Although we had no cellphone service, there was a phone in the cabin that we could use. Luckily it got resolved the same day.

Tony’s got a great spot to get away from it all! It’s quiet and secluded and the hot tub is perfect for easing your sore muscles after a good hike. The fire pit made for a relaxing evening, too. There’s tons of trails nearby and it’s not far from Berkeley Springs which has a cute downtown and a couple of great restaurants. Also, if you absolutely need the WiFi, the signal in the house and even surrounding it is great. But, this is a great spot to disconnect from the world of you need to do so.

Tony was an amazing host. Very communicative and wanted to ensure that my friends and I had a good time. The cabin was amazing and in a great location. Would definitely head back to this cabin again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is tucked away in a wooded area which left a lot to be explored by my son. The screened in porch was fabulous and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay at Tony’s cabin was perfect. He was very responsive and always there when we needed him. The cabin was cozy and had more the enough room for our group of 9. We spent our stay enjoying the scenery around the cabin, going in and out of the hot tub, and relaxing around the warm furnace. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy relaxing time in the mountains.

This cabin was perfect for a quiet get away! Plenty of room for everyone, you never felt like you were on top of any one. There was lots of snow when we went so the views were beautiful especially when sitting in the hot tub !

Nice woodsy cabin. Plenty of space and a nice layout for families (kids had their own bunk room & tv room). Quiet community (at least in the winter when we were there).

Lovely place. Due to covid and a snowstorm we stayed close to the cabin most of the time. We enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace and hiking in the nearby woods. Recommended.

This place was awesome! Quiet, secluded, but still felt safe. The kids had so much fun! We went out exploring the woods, made s’mores by the fire, went in the hot tub, and then warmed up by the fireplace. We had a blast! Would deff come back!

Amazing Cabin and location

This place was by far our favorite Airbnb. We love getting cabins and coming to WV for a little get away and this cabin made our trip even better. We had everything we needed to stay there. There was a lot of space for our big group and we still felt like we had our own space if needed. We felt very comfortable and safe there as well. There were plenty of things to do there, our favorite things to do consisted of playing games and building puzzles, going on walks around the cabin and of course relaxing in the hot tub. We also loved cooking in the kitchen that also had everything we needed. Tony was a great host, very understanding, responded quickly and gave great recommendations. We can’t wait to stay here again and we hope it’s very soon! Thank you Tony! 🙂

This is a great rustic getaway for families with kids and dogs. It is definitely a bit rough around the edges and could use some upgrades, but the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely and spent a lovely evening around the fire pit and took a long walk down to the river.

We had a great stay for a couple days in Tony’s cabin! He was quick to respond with any question we had. We had everything we needed to cook some nice meals whether we were in the kitchen or on the patio grill. The pellet stove downstairs kept it nice and cozy. The hot tub worked excellently, and we loved the outdoor firepit for s’more-making. We felt secluded from other folks, which is what we wanted, but we were also nearby a grocery store for essentials and also the cutest cat cafe Give Purrs A Chance. Overall, a really great deal for a few days getaway.

Everything was where the host said it was. The cabin is remote, but Tony made a clear house plan doc that helped a lot. It is a very relaxing place with a bunch of things to do. Would stay there again.

What a fabulous stay! There was so much to do with the ping pong table and hot tub, games and more. So many beds for a big group. It was perfect for my fiancé’s birthday. Couldn’t have been happier! Thank you!

Fantastic quiet place to get away! We will be back!

My partner and I stayed here for a 5 day mountain escape and had a nice quiet time, mostly — there was a bit of construction happening across the street during our stay but other than that the location is beautifully woodsy and remote and feels peaceful since it’s in a private community. The manual and instructions provided were super helpful. We hit a few snags, the river is a short way away but we came during fall when the kayaks, etc. are not available — oops! Also hunting season in the nearby state park meant we missed out on the hiking there. Would love to check it out sometime. However as mentioned the neighborhood itself is quiet enough with almost no traffic, that walking around during fall is itself is very nice and safe. We mostly enjoyed checking out the games provided and grilling out/cooking, and relaxing on the screened-in porch!

We had an awesome time staying here! The host was very quick to respond and left very detailed and clear instructions for how to get to the house. The amenities included were really great! We loved the hot tub and the fact that the house comes with kayaks and inner tubes was super awesome! Would definitely recommend staying here!
