My family (2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 pups) stayed a week at this lovely cabin! I fell in love with the scenery right away! There is a steep incline to the cabin so be sure you’re vehicle can climb it. I LOVE the mountains and truly got to experience their beauty and sounds as soon as we got out of the car. The cabin was amazing, our kids loved having a fire pit to make yummy gooey s’mores and loads of games for fun family game nights. Our dogs enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood, finding trails, following squirrels, and discovering toads for the first time.
We explored the local areas and found some great restaurants, stores and people! Our favorite spots were King’s New York Pizza Restaurant, Frosty Paws, and Dexter’s Laboratory! There is also a laundry place close by called Whale of a Wash! Tony was amazing and quick to respond to all of my messages. I can’t wait to plan another trip to WV and will definitely go through Tony again!

I loved the place, it was a very nice experience in the cabin with a jacuzzi, barbecue, a lot of peace and a very nice cabin with many games inside the house. The peace of this place is incredible. I will return to the place.😇😇thank you

My stay was absolutely delightful! Nestled in a serene woodland setting, the cabin’s interior was charmingly rustic yet modern, with tasteful decor and all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay.
The cabin itself was immaculately clean upon arrival, and the host had thoughtfully left clear instructions for check-in and check-out procedures. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals and enjoy them on the spacious deck overlooking the tranquil forest.
The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the cozy fireplace, which we enjoyed curling up beside in the evenings with a good book and a glass of wine.

Stayed overnight with friends and we really enjoyed the home. Our favorite part was the numerous board games available- we had a great time playing them! The home was neat and decorated nicely, making it a very welcoming space. The outside porch was a great spot to chill; however, something to keep in mind is it was covered in leaves and critters, which we did have to clear off before we could sit out there comfortably. Of course, this is just something that comes along with being in middle of a forest and isn't really avoidable, just something helpful to know in advance. Once we cleared it off though, it was a perfect spot to barbeque, eat, and hang out. The host was very pleasant, giving helpful instructions before our stay on how to best use all the amenities. It is located in a very peaceful area and we had a great stay.

Other than the fact all the water coming from showers and faucets was brown and smelled awful, which doesn’t reflect on Tony as much as it should be mentioned that clean water could be needed. I would’ve felt that providing bottle water or jugs of clean water it not having a warning. Also bathtub was so stained from the water that a purifier on the shower. My children had to have heated up water for a bath I had to buy. Other than that it was nice.

We booked Tony’s cabin for a long, kid-free weekend, and were not disappointed. Relaxing evening hot tub time paired with beautiful sunrises in the screened in porch was rejuvenating and energizing. Berkeley Springs is right down the road for those who like to stay busy, but time spent with a loved one in the cabin was great for our soul!

Beautiful, homey space. Very clean & spotless as well as smelling AMAZING. Tony was cery responsive within a few minutes & friendly. The hot tub with the scenery was BREATHTAKING. Chose this place for my birthday get away and it was worth every penny. I expect to be back really soon.

The place is nice, affordable, and just what we were looking for in a quiet weekend getaway. The sheets and comforters were the softest and most comfortable I’ve ever felt. There were a couple things that we couldn’t get to work in the kitchen, but Tony was very responsive and even offered to have a handyman come right away. The hot tub is very nice, while it does face the road, the road doesn’t get a lot of traffic. There is a neighbor next door who we didn’t interact with but you have to keep noise down to not disturb them which was fine with us. There are a lot of HOA rules to abide by so I read the house manual twice to make sure we were following all the rules. Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Tony’s cabin with four friends for a birthday weekend getaway. From the moment I booked to the second we drove out of the driveway, Tony was fantastic. The house looked just like the pictures and Tony laid out every possible instruction and question that I could have possibly wondered about in the house manual. The drive up “devils nose jeep trail” could potentially be tricky in any kind of weather - something Tony mentioned ahead of time and was a great tip when we were choosing which car to bring along. We had such a great time with the games in the cabin and the hot tub that we didn’t get a chance to explore the town at all while we were here. I’d highly recommend booking a stay with Tony and can confidently say that I will be doing the same again soon.

Love the nature feelings of this place. The interior to the exterior was phenomenal. They also asked what accommodations we needed and I asked for Freshwood for the fire pit and they left us some! I thought I was very mindful and giving ! thank you for letting us stay here!

This is a nice house. The fireplace was awesome but you’ll need your own wood. Hot tub hot. The kitchen is outdated but clean. If you want to cook a lot bring your own spices and condiments and maybe a decent pan or two. We had one luckily as we cooked a lot for the holiday. The linens and towels were clean and soft. We enjoyed it.

My family had a fantastic stay at Tony’s cabin. The house is located at the top of a mountain, up a winding dirt road. 4-wheel drive would be a must if there was any snow! Upon arrival our daughters found toys and games and were instantly entertained and excited. The house is very kid friendly. Our golden retriever even made the trip with us and loved laying out in the screened-in porch. We enjoyed the hot tub and camp fire, and the kitchen was fully stocked for cooking throughout our stay. Tony checked in with us periodically to offer local recommendations, but we chose to spend our time relaxing at the cabin. The only thing we struggled with was the tap water, which had a strong sulfur smell, we wished we had brought more bottled water to drink. The cabins private location was perfect for our weekend getaway, and we have already talked about staying here again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for getaway trip together. It was a very private and nice neighborhood. The hot tub was fabulous and the cabin itself was very clean and looks exactly like the photos. The only issue we ran into is there was no first aid kit. However, Tony responded to us right away, despite it being late at night. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

My daughter and I with a toddler stayed at Tony's place just recently. It was exactly as advertised , a secuded hideaway with hiking nearby. It had a nice hot tub and firepit. The views from the deck are lovely. It's a bit of a drive into Berkeley Springs ,almost 30 min. There are nice hiking trails nearby though. Tony was very communicative with frequent texts and answering questions. All and all it was a wonderful experience.

We booked this house for a girls weekend and really enjoyed the space! The goal was to be around the fall leaves and Tony’s house offered multiple ways to enjoy being outside. The house was great for what we were looking for and appreciate the stay!

We stayed here for one night to break up an 11 hour trip home from the beach. The cabin was perfect for us to eat dinner, watch some TV, take a hot shower, and get a good night sleep before we headed home. The vintage vibe is so cute and cozy. Chairs and couches were comfortable. We appreciated the fan for sleeping, the shower products left out for us to use, and the coffee and sugar provided in the kitchen. We didn’t use any of the outdoor amenities but the fire pit and the hot tub both looked nice. The porches were perfect with comfy seating. We were very happy to find such a great place that is dog friendly. The fall colors in the area were breathtaking and the neighborhood was quiet and very pretty. I would definitely recommend a stay in Tony’s cabin.

Overall, a very nice and quiet get away spot. The host, Tony, was very responsive once the place was booked, providing details and instructions. They also offer late check out/early check in for a small fee - we opted for late check out and the house was ready early for check in. The house has all the basics, although a few more larger pots would be helpful for cooking. Not much was left from previous guests (e.g., condiments) so definitely good to plan to bring your own. But the kitchen was perfect for cooking our meals and we used the grill on the deck - there did not seem to be any grilling tools, I would recommend some because the grill is a great amenity. We didn't use the fireplace or fire pit but would have if we stayed longer. We used the screened in porch a lot to read and it was so lovely. We booked the house because it has a hot tub but it was not working; Tony gave us a refund. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway and would return.

Nice place. Just don't expect up to date interior. Its well keep clean and comfortable everything works as it should. If your looking for modern and upto date then you shouldn't be looking in the mountains of WV. Tony or someone will respond within a few minutes if you text. There are plenty of games and movies if you want to spend a lazy day. Lots of trails and thing to do near by.

We really enjoyed the house and Tony was an incredibly attentive host. It was well decorated and clean. Unfortunately, the amenities we thought we were going to have were broken and/or unusable. Those things were out of his control and he provided us with a refund for some of the issues. We would stay at one of Tony's locations anytime, this was just an unlucky situation. Would definitely refer friends and family to stay at one of his locations.

Very quiet and private place. The view from the screen porch is beautiful. The house is very comfortable. The master bed was very comfortable. I would love to come back. The little lake is about 5 miles and you need a pass after noon.

Tony couldn’t have been nicer. He was very communicative, friendly, and had clear instructions.
There were several dead bugs on the window seals upon arrival. There was also a used athletic mouth piece on the screened in porch that our toddler found. With an $85 cleaning fee, I’d expect that to be taken care of before we arrived.
The kitchen has every basic necessity and then some more. We really appreciated the kids plates, bowls, and silverware.. goodness that was a huge help. Something like this can easily go overlooked when traveling (oops!).
Plenty of towels, pillows, and everything you need to sleep with. They are stocked up on extras in one of the rooms, so you’ll have what you need and PLENTY of extras, which was nice. The beds were not comfortable, though. The pullout couch bed was rough to sleep on especially.
The private lake was nice too. Great movie selection, especially for kids. Overall we enjoyed it but don’t think it was quite worth what we paid.

Had a great stay at Tony's place. Very peaceful and relaxing. The pictures don't do the place justice. With all the amenities we didn't want to leave. We wish could have stayed longer! Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Short drive to a private lake, and close to great hiking options. We can't wait to return and plan a longer stay.

My wife and I went for my birthday weekend to chill and get away from the city noise. That’s what we did. We spent the whole weekend in the house. Great selection of DVDs and Blu-ray movies when the internet is spotty. A lot of games and puzzles to relax and let the day go by. The drive is beautiful and the place is tranquil and quiet.

This was a perfect weekend getaway in the woods. If you want to slip away from the hustle and bustle this is a nice option.
Even though the bathroom and kitchen is not updated it is very clean and feels comfortable. There’s a nice screened patio to enjoy your morning coffee and listen to nature in the morning.

Tony was very responsive and even texted me check out instructions which was so nice that I didn’t have to go searching through my phone for the packet of instructions! Tony’s place was super comfortable and peaceful. While there are neighbors it was nice and quiet, it is basically at the top of the road so there were no cars coming and going. We made it up just fine without 4WD. The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful. There is a sunroom area in the front of the house, we watched a few legendary sunrises in the mornings with our coffee. Linens and towels were well stocked and clean. Hotspots were also available and were super reliable our whole stay. Plenty of kitchenwares to cook your own meals as well.
Tony was great with communication. We felt super at ease trying to find the property and enter upon our arrival — super easy.

Tony was really great! We loved reading by the indoor fireplace and drinking wine by the fire pit outside. Definitely use Waze instead of G00gle Maps, the last turn before you get to the house is very hard to find with G00gle Maps. And make sure you have a 4 Wheel Drive if you go when it’s snowy or icy. The house is on a pretty large and curvy hill. The 10am checkout is a little early, but everything was great during the stay. There is an awesome little lake beach within the community, very peaceful. There wasn’t a ton to do in Berkeley Springs but we went for a cozy weekend getaway and it was perfect for us.

Tony’s cabin was great! The area is up the mountain so you get a great view and it was so peaceful and quiet. At night the sky was full of so many stars. The cabin itself was clean and well-equipped and Tony was very friendly and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I would advise that if you need to get groceries or anything you do it on the way to the cabin as the nearest grocery store was a 25 minute drive away. That in mind, it’s a great place to stay!

With that said, the only thing that wasn’t perfect was the wifi situation- didn’t affect our trip, however, the place is set with a cell booster and a t-mobile wifi hotspot which said “internet not available” even though my t-mobile iPhone had 5G service the entire time?so beware of wifi service if that’s an issue for you- my wife and I loved the blu-ray movie collection, so while we couldn’t keep up with our fav. evening streaming shows, we caught up on a cpl classic favorites out of the movie collection- the tub was nice and clean and the fireplace has a handy blower(switch on the left side, which I didn’t find until after our first night), and everything is as described- the lake, is a bit of a drive from the cabin,or a very gnarly hike-The roads are in better condition than most dirt roads I’m used to, but if it’s snowing, I suggest using chains- we had perfect weather so that wasn’t an issue for us-
All in all,my wife and I look forward to returning!5⭐️

Wonderful stay for a getaway to the mountains! We went in the winter and it was relaxing, cozy, and full of entertainment! The house is full of games and has everything you would need. The lake is so close and the hot tub is amazing. The host is always available! And the place is pet friendly which is always plus for us as we love to travel with our fur babies.

This cabin is gorgeous and secluded. It is comfortable the the kitchen is great and well equipped for preparing meals. There wasn’t any salt and pepper or other spices, so make sure to bring that if you plan to cook. Tony was very responsive and friendly from the beginning. It was a no-hassle self-check in. Had a great stay at this peaceful cabin in the woods. Enjoyed waking up to the sounds of many bird species. Close proximity to a lot of fun activities, although I spent most of my time enjoying the cabin itself. Tony is very responsive and accommodating! Very easy communicating with him. The road to the cabin itself is dirt and very steep, so would definitely need a 4x4 if inclement weather, however my Prius did just fine with some light rain. Highly recommend!

LOVED this accommodation. There is so much to report back on. We quickly became frustrated by the lack of correspondence with the person the accommodation is booked with while we were directed to their employees instead. But all really worked hard to help us find the location. We couldn’t get there until about 6p due to work, and the early sundown made it PITCH BLACK trying to locate everything. It did not help that out GPS directed 500 feet past our turn and we were just roaming through private property. Quite eerie. Jimmy the handyman in cabin was SPECTACULAR! He put our minds at ease and stayed up on the phone with us walking us through step by step how to get to the cabin. He also mentioned some of the cool sights in the area and ensure our safe arrival. The following day Tony spoke to us asking for tips and allowed for a later check out since our check in was delayed greatly. It was an incredible getaway — the film collection, the hot tub, the fireplace — all of it!

I have stayed in at least 15 AirBNB places and Tony was the most responsive host, stayed in close touch with text messaging. His place was well provisioned with first-rate wine glasses, a great hot tub and excellent hiking nearby in Cacapon State Park.

The cabin was nicely decorated and in a beautiful location. We loved hanging out on the screened porch looking out over the mountain view. We enjoyed the firepit and the hot tub too!
The kitchen is well equipped with Pots, pans cutlery. There are not spices or condiments in the house so if you plan to cook bring your own. Also, not plastic wrap or zip lock bags.
We would definitely return for another visit.

The cabin was perfect for a little getaway for my husband and I. The home was clean and well taken care of. We went on a nice hike nearby as well. We enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi especially. The only thing I would change is the check in and out time. A 3pm check in and 11am check out would have been nice. Thanks for a great stay.

It was a perfect family weekend for us. Every detail was thought from indoor games to outdoor activities for kids, from blueray movies to fireplace, from hottube to outdoor fire pit surrounded with adirondeck chairs. From bbq to flashlights. You need nothing for kitchen. Do your grocery before coming and create your own feast in this wonderful forest house. The House was extremely clean and great decorated. If you need a place to enjoy the nature and tranquility this is the perfect spot. We visited in mid October and foliage in the forest was fantastic. Highly recommend and will be visiting again for sure.

This indeed the coziest cabin in the woods you've been looking for. Up a windy dirty road, backing up to a 30k acre nature preserve (and with the smattering of a few neighbors), this cabin is such a quiet delightful retreat! The space is great- we were two people. While it can hold up to 6-7 people, unless you are spending all day out and only sleeping there, I would say the space may be a bit too cozy if everyone is an adult. That being said, the house provides so many space to gather, rest, read, relax. The screened in porch was superb, the back deck lovely, the outdoor fire pit awesome, and the hot tub luxurious. I think the real win for us was the indoor fireplace that helped us have relaxing nights by the fire with a good book and delicious beverage. The cabin is located about 25-30 minutes from Berkeley Springs but you start getting use to the drive pretty quickly (highly recommend the drive thru the woods to the Berkeley Springs Brewery!). The neighbors are very kind and friendly. The nearby Devil Nose trail was PERFECT (8 minute drive away) and provided the perfect 1.5 hour in and back hike with a breathtaking overlook. The overall experience was an absolute delight! Highly recommend, especially for relaxing, romantic weekends away. Please note: cell service is spotty and there is no wifi. But that's why I recommend a good book and bottle of scotch to keep you company!

Cozy fireplace in the living room and a fire pit outside of the house are really creating beautiful relaxing atmosphere.
If you are into hiking, there are trails literally 5 min away from the house!

Perfect for a cozy, couples getaway! We would easily stay here again.

This place was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean, and there was even wine glasses and everything we would need in the kitchen. The hot tub was really nice and the location was beautiful. My husband and I want to come back again to spend a weekend.
