On River Time

The river whispers just beyond the porch, and the scent of pine mingles with the crackle of the fire pit as the sun dips behind the Blue Ridge hills. Inside, vaulted wood‑beam ceilings draw your eye upward, while the open floor plan invites you to gather around the large sectional sofa and fireplace to share stories over a glass of local wine. Step onto the enclosed porch that runs the full length of the house, or step out to the covered hot tub, feel the cool evening breeze, and watch deer wander through the yard as night settles over Harpers Ferry.

Sleeping arrangements
- Bedroom 1 (main floor): King bed with ensuite bathroom
- Bedroom 2 (main floor): Queen bed
- Bedroom 3 (upstairs): Full bed
- Bedroom 4 (upstairs): Two twin beds, a pull‑out twin bed, bean bag chairs, SmartTV and games – a playful hangout for kids or teens

Bathrooms
Two updated full bathrooms on the main floor each feature stand‑up showers and modern fixtures, providing plenty of space for families and groups.

Kitchen & dining
The updated kitchen offers a refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven and coffee maker, plus an island with bar seating for casual meals. A dining nook provides a cozy spot for family breakfasts or evening meals, while the propane grill and picnic table are ready for outdoor cooking and al fresco dining.

Living area
Vaulted wood‑beam ceilings and modern farmhouse décor create a warm, inviting atmosphere. A large sectional sofa, cozy fireplace and additional seating accommodate everyone, and a SmartTV streams Netflix, Apple TV, Paramount, Peacock, HBO and Disney+ for relaxed evenings.

Outdoor living
Private river access invites kayaking, tubing or simply sitting by the water’s edge. The fire pit with Adirondrock chairs and hot tub offers cozy nights under the stars, and the full‑length enclosed porch is perfect for morning coffee or sunset cocktails. Parking for two to three cars and frequent deer sightings add to the rustic charm.

Longer Stays
For stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.

Neighborhood
Located in the peaceful Blue Ridge Acres community, the cabin is a short drive from Harpers Ferry’s historic district, the Appalachian Trail, Jefferson Rock, local wineries, breweries, unique shops and a variety of dining options. Hiking, river activities and historic tours are all within 10‑15 minutes, while grocery stores are just 20 minutes away.
