What Guests Are Saying About Their West Virginia Group Cabin Stay
Oak Grove
My family very much enjoyed our getaway. This cabin was the perfect peaceful environment I was looking for. We enjoyed playing games as a family and taking quiet strolls around the community. The cabin has a fresh relaxing feel that we enjoyed. Thank you Tony and family for sharing your place with us!
On River Time
We stayed at “On River Time” for a girls weekend celebrating a 50th birthday. There were 6 of us and we were comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen. The home and yard are in a private and beautiful setting only a (less than) 10 minute drive to downtown Harpers Ferry. We used the fire pit which was nicely set up to enjoy and easy to manage safely. Thank you for a lovely place to celebrate.
Road’s End Retreat
My family and I rented this beautiful home to host Thanksgiving, and it was amazing! It was exactly how the pictures looked, and the host was great and responsive. I will be booking here again! It definitely felt like home. 10/10 recommend to anyone considering.
Moonlight Ridge
If you’re looking for beautiful scenery and a peaceful time, i’d highly recommend! Lots of awesome Antique shops close by in Front Royal, Luray, New Market etc! Broad Porch Coffee Co and downtown luray are close by. Tony was quick to reply and ensured we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely come back!
Tall Peak Chalet
My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here, the Airbnb came with a lot of dishware, which made it easy to make our meals when we forgot one or two things, the place is super clean and peaceful, and Tony was very responsive and gave lots of directions. Wonderful place for the price.
Zen Mountain Retreat
Tony’s place was perfect for our post Christmas getaway. A very peaceful spot with beautiful surroundings. The home was exactly as described and everything was just lovely. Would absolutely stay again.
What’s Around Your West Virginia Group Cabin
Harpers Ferry and the Potomac
Harpers Ferry sits at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers and packs a full day into a small area. Historic sites, river access, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, and whitewater outfitters all within walking distance of each other. It is an easy anchor for a group with mixed interests.
Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob
Seneca Rocks is one of the most dramatic natural landmarks in the mid-Atlantic, and the drive up is half the experience. Nearby Spruce Knob is the highest point in West Virginia, with hiking and sweeping views that hold up in any season.
New River Gorge National Park
Designated a national park in 2020, New River Gorge is now West Virginia’s marquee outdoor destination. Whitewater rafting, climbing, mountain biking, and one of the most photographed bridges in the country. For active groups, it is hard to top.
Outdoor Activities for Groups
Whitewater rafting, zip-lining, ATV trails, fly fishing, and kayaking are all within reach depending on which part of the state you are based in. Local outfitters cater regularly to group bookings and can handle logistics for a full-day excursion.
