This was a very nice home. It is very private. The porch is very large and it’s a good place to have coffee and eat meals. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies . We did not use the hot tub or bbq grill. The inside of the house was spacious and beautiful. I brought my dog with me, and I felt comfortable having her off leash because it was so private (there are neighbors, but you cant see them from the house) There were a lot of deer on the property. The beds were very comfortable!

My husband and I rented this cabin to take our dog for the weekend and it was an excellent choice! Incredibly dog friendly with a lead and ability to close in the front porch. The location was beautiful, and the cabin itself was gorgeous! Full kitchen, full bathroom, and a large loft. Only about 25 minutes from town which was a plus. Tony was incredibly responsive and checked in prior to check in, at the of check in and check out, he was very kind and a pleasure to communicate with. I’ve already sent this listing to a few friends after the experience we had! Highly recommend ☺️

Nice and quiet place!

We really enjoyed our time at the Wildcat Retreat! Our hosts were very attentive and checked in regularly to make sure we found everything we needed. They also gave us local recommendations, but we could have just stayed in the cabin our entire trip and been happy. It was so peaceful and the surrounding woods made it a private beautiful setting to relax in. The cabin isn’t fancy but we had everything we needed and it was clean. It’s a great value!

The cabin is very peaceful and private. we enjoyed the hot tub of course and a big plus to take our dog. we will surely stay again in the future.

After leaving a job and accepting another, months after a divorce, I just decided to get away for a week. This was the perfect place. I didn’t want anything close to anywhere. I didn’t want to interact with other people. I just wanted the woods, a fire, And a few friends to come visit on the weekend. This place delivered. The cabin is spacious and warm. Hot tub… hot. Look outside any window, and all you’ll see is trees, which is what I wanted, needed. The master bed was a bit saggy, but the rest were more than fine. I added an extra day to my trip because I didn’t want to go home yet. Berkeley Springs is a short, 25 minute drive, but only because the roads are so windy, otherwise it would be 10. I left some spices, a full bundle of wood, and the hope that others enjoy this place as much as me behind when I left. I have a photo album of memories, lots of songs, and a weekend of friendship to take along with me.

Overall, we had a great weekend getaway for my son’s birthday trip. It’s very peaceful & serene. The pictures make it seem like it was bigger than what it actually was & there is some much needed maintenance that needs to be done (broken front window, screen door wouldn’t close, bathroom could use some help). The couches were quite dirty as well, but to be expected with dogs & nature. Much like other reviewers have said, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We didn’t even attempt to sleep in the downstairs bedroom due to all the negative reviews but the upstairs beds were hard as a rock. There’s also no curtains on the upstairs windows if that’s something that bothers you (my kids would not sleep because they feared someone was watching them 😅). We ended up leaving a day early because no one was getting any good sleep and we were all getting super cranky.

The place so was beautiful both inside and out!

Problem with REALLY saggy main bed. Not sure actually mattress, box spring, or support but you will both be exactly in middle of mattress as sides wind up at about a 30 degree angle. Some reports the upstairs loft beds are better. Cute place otherwise. Maybe a little smaller than the pictures make it look. Location thing was address as Jacob Rd which is a right turn. It’s actually 35 Jacob Lane which is a left. Maybe just a confusion with the GPS I was using.

We enjoyed our stay. Dry private. Took a little while to get to it but the road was paved so that was good. Enjoyed the hot tub They should definitely consider replacing the mattress in the bedroom. No closets so a dresser would be nice.

A wonderful tucked away cabin for a private retreat. My wife and I had an amazing time for our anniversary soaking in the hot tub, hiking the trails nearby, a fully stocked kitchen allowed us to not have to use any of the pots and pans we brought, and a nice big fire pit to warm up next to when it get dark and a bit chilly. Overall a 10/10 experience and we hope to return again next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was in a quiet place for a nice getaway from the city. The kitchenware was plentiful and all in good condition. We found the beds and couches to be comfortable. The host is absolutely phenomenal – responsive, attentive, and knowledgeable about the area.

I would give it five stars all the way around. But just like the previous reviews, the downstairs bed was absolutely horrible. You would have to have the spine of a noodle to be comfortable after twenty minutes of laying in it. I ignored the comments because I can normally sleep on anything. But I was wrong. haha Overall, beautiful place and great communication with the host.

The cabin is lovely and secluded- just what we wanted for a tech-free weekend! Check in was easy and the house was well-equipped with the things we needed to make meals and stay cozy. They even had kid plates and utensils that worked for our toddler. 🙂 We hiked at Cacapon Resort State Park (highly recommend!!) and made great use of the fire pit . All of the mattresses and the couches were new and very comfortable! We slept great and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings!

Comfortable for a quick getaway

We were very happy to return for a relaxing four-night getaway over the winter holiday. The place is perfect for a simple and secluded stay in the woods for us and our two outdoor-loving dogs. The listing is accurate in its description of the cabin: it has a woodsy charm and is equipped with all of the comforts of home — all we needed to bring was food and drinks as we don’t like to leave the place to go shopping while we are there. We made great use of the fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and hot tub. Tony & team are always incredibly communicative and responsive, including when we reached out with issues upon check-in. We would absolutely return again in the future!

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. Everything was as described and the hot tub and fireplace were amazing. I grilled up some steaks, drank some beer, soaked in the hot tub, and lived it up for the night. I loved my time spent here. Absolute luxury.

Cabin was nice! I tried to extend my stay, but had issues with AirBnb. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Very private location, lots of deer. Very quiet.

Everything was great! Nice cozy private cabin in the woods with fireplace, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. Well equipped kitchen. Internet, heat, and hot water all worked well. Contactless check-in and check-out was simple. Just bring your own firewood and drinking water if you don’t prefer the tap water as advertised. Would stay again!

Overall the cabin fit exactly what I was looking for: a place to get some privacy and relaxation. The photos don’t do it justice, as there are newer couches and kitchen appliances. Plenty of warnings/comments about the water and “rustic”-ness of the cabin set expectations and was not a dealbreaker. The jacuzzi is definitely a plus. The recent comments about the downstairs mattress was correct sadly, the mattress sunk a lot in the middle (which made my back sore) and we discovered that the mattress was flipped upside down too. Honestly once the mattress gets replaced I’m definitely coming back!

We had a great stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was also very clean. Only down fall was very uncomfortable master bed that needs to be replaced. I noticed it was also written in the memory book provided as well. The location is perfect with a cute town only 20ish minutes away and a few hiking trails to choose from.

Cute Cabin: A little dusty and a little dated, but it’s a nice place to getaway with newer dishes and furniture. The TV is new; it’s not the older one from the photos so you don’t have to pack a DVD player—you can Netflix and chill if that’s your thing. The water pressure isn’t the greatest so you’ll have to spend extra time rinsing your hair. The pillows are big and soft. The cabin allows you to feel secluded. The hot tub feels private. The surrounds are peaceful and you may even catch some deer moving through. My husband & I enjoyed ourselves.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Pros–secluded, peaceful, rustic. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and looking at the stars! It was pretty clean and the host kept in communication. It was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. Cons–The 1st floor bed/mattress is VERY uncomfortable. Definitely needs replaced asap. The cabin could use some overall maintenance repair–there’s a cracked window, worn deck steps, etc. Also the unavoidable sulfer water smell. With a few updates, this cabin could be 5 stars. I hope the adjustments are made soon because we’d love to stay again in the future!

This cabin in the woods is the perfect place for a mental reboot. So quiet and so beautiful. A hummingbird visited us on the deck 3 different times and there were plenty of deer too. We used the fire pit and enjoyed some stargazing with (lucky for us) clear skies.

We had a great time there. Beautiful area tucked away in the mountains. 30 min drive to my favorite Berkeley Springs restaurant The Naked Lounge. We went there to relax in nature and in comfort. We got both. The host got back extremely fast. Everything is as advertised. Thanks for having us.

Very beautiful surrounding area with views of the valley. Cabin is quaint and has an open floor plan. Dining options are a bit limited, but available within 30 minutes. Bath is an amazingly beautiful small town with hospitable locals during our stay. We loved the local coffee/breakfast spot and had a great time walking around town. The only downside was the cabins water quality, which was pretty rough. Heavy sulfur smell and probably not great to use as drinking water. My son left the water in the bath overnight and the next morning the whole tub was dark red, likely from a chemical reaction of the heavy metals and oxidation. Owners may want to invest in a water treatment or softening system. We certainly would stay again, the water quality isn’t nearly enough to keep us from potentially renting in the future. To the host* Sorry for being a few minutes late checking out. We were in that car about to pull away at 10:00am when my son realized he forgot his tablet inside. 15 min.

Location was perfect. Isolated and quiet. Roads were in great shape to reach cabin which is very nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay and with the management team.

The place was good enough. Clean with the exception of the rafters in the living room (think spider eggs; ick). The big issue was no one in our group was the least bit interested in showering bc it smelled horrible. We’re used to well water at home; but this was next level and stunk the whole cabin up. We purchased a couple large water jugs for drinking and teeth brushing and no one washed hair until we got home. The cabin was perfect for what we were doing otherwise. Great set-up in a beautiful peaceful area.

Loved it! Perfect peaceful getaway. Matches photos, great instructions, very responsive host, and everything working well. Including jacuzzi, sanitary and well maintained! It’s a cabin in the woods so naturally a touch rustic. Water is fine but has a slight tint from iron content (excluding jacuzzi) so you may want to bring some if that bothers you – or not if your iron deficient! Thanks Tony!

Charming country cabin with a lot of character. We loved hanging out outside by the fire in the evenings. Lots of nice hiking options nearby. We would totally book again!

Tony’s place was not bad. Alot of the pictures did not match the house. the hot tub was dirty and green from the sulfur water, that also smelt really bad. they did come up and drain it and tell it so it got a little better. the home itself was fine. I personally would not return.

Wonderful getaway in the woods! We saw and heard so much wildlife and could see the stars so clearly at night from the hot tub. The listing was not kidding when they said the water had a slight sulfur smell, and I recommend bringing your own drinking water.

we booked this trip to reconnect as a couple, it’s a very intimate setting, some things have changed since the photos were uploaded. The hot tub is on the deck next to the front door, great location, the sectional couch has been replaced by 2 couches, not a big deal. The house was clean and orderly, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. About half and hour to Berkeley Springs, lots of little shops and food and several spa’s. Will deff look for one of Tony’s listing’s again in the future!

It was exactly what we wanted, a private cabin secluded in the woods.

This was my a great find, I suggest making all communications on accessing the cabin prior to driving up the mountain, the signal is spotty until you can get on wifi to communicate with the host. Grab everything you need before you get there as its about a 30 min ride back to town so you can relax and enjoy the view and cabin. I love to visit again great place.

We had a great time and loved that we were able to bring the dogs! The place is cozy and private. Once you get past the smell of the water, it’s hard to leave! I would go back. The house could use some TLC, but all around, everything seems to be working as described. Tony is very responsive too!

This is a cute cabin for a couple but the loft beds can hear everything, even noise from the bathroom. Highly recommend bringing drinking water because both the hot and cold water smell like sulfur. While it was functional, some maintenance is needed: the mantles are not secure, one even fell off the wall when someone closed the door.

This cabin is absolutely ideal! It’s in a quiet, peaceful location, but it’s easy to find and on a well-paved road. The host, Tony, is easy to get in touch with, and he is proactive with communication. He recommended some local places to eat, and he was super kind. The water has a bit of a sulfur smell, but it is in next to a town known for mineral springs, so I guess that’s to be expected. It is also mentioned in the house manual. This is a great cabin, and I hope we can come back someday!

We were very happy to return to this cabin in the woods to ring in the new year. Tony is very responsive and provides clear guidance prior to both check-in and check-out. The cabin is the perfect spot for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Our two dogs loved exploring the woods and we enjoyed sitting by the fire each evening. The hot tub was a bonus addition from our last stay! The only thing missing this year was snow 🙂 The listing is very accurate, and the cabin is equipped with all the comforts of home – all you really need to bring is food and drink. Great stay. Had everything we needed and wanted for a little weekend getaway. The only thing was the smell of any of the water coming from the sinks/shower. Resembled eggs. Wasn’t always there but definitely not a great smell. Candles masked the smell. The home was cozy, comfortable and we had such a great time! Hot tub was maintained well and fire pit was definitely used. Would definitely go again!

What a beautiful cabin. It is better than the pictures. Very cozy, nicely set up. To be honest it was hard to leave. Only downside was the water smell, which wasn’t that bad. We brought our own water to drink.

My pipes froze and I had family in town. By the grace of God, Tony’s cabin was within 1.9 miles of my home. The cabin was a complete lifesaver and perfect for what we needed – heat, water and a wonderful place to stay. The cabin centrally located near hunting, fishing, biking, and both the Great Cacapon and Potomac Rivers. Tony replies instantly to messages and check up on us regularly. The cabin with rustic, clean and affordable. Thank you for saving the day!

Tony is an exceptional host. Very communicative and helpful. The cabin itself is beautiful, and has everything you could need. We utilized the fireplace and hot tub every day. The outdoor fire-pit was great once the wind died down. Our dog absolutely loved venturing around the woods. We will more than likely return to the cabin! A few things to consider and prepare yourself for that we also saw in the reviews prior to booking: – the main bed downstairs is really uncomfortable. We slept the second night upstairs in separate beds…which were better, but not by too much. The couches are very comfortable though! – the water is quite sulphur-y. Be prepared for very smelly showers, sink water, etc. I have been exposed to this through some family members house and this was quite a bit worse. Trips to town for water are easy. Based on the nightly price, we expected nicer beds and a main waterline filter. Hopefully these are addressed in good time to bring this place up to its true potential

Tony’s cabin felt like staying at your friends grandparents cabin in the woods. Very very private, cozy, and spacious. The hot tub on the porch was lovely and the fireplace was so nice to have fires in. There was plenty of room for everyone to stretch out in and relax. It could definitely use some love, but with a some fixes/upgrades it could be perfection. Tony was very responsive to all our concerns. Tips for guests: if you plan to cook meals here I would bring some additional supplies. The pots/pans are not great and I ended up buying and leaving a baking sheet there because there was nothing to cook in the oven with. The water is bad, but filling up in Berkeley Springs was easy and free.

This cabin is a great choice for a rustic escape in the woods, offering seclusion, a cozy A-frame design, and a convenient 2.5 hr drive from DC. We loved the fire pit, large balcony, and especially the hot tub, which was ready upon arrival. However, there were some challenges: the Wi-Fi was spotty, the Roku TV required an account, the stove was finicky, and the fireplace, while lovely, created a lot of smoke inside. The main bed had a dip in the middle, which affected comfort, and the dishwasher didn’t work, requiring handwashing at the end of our stay. The well water also had a sulfur smell as others reviews mentioned, which was manageable. Despite these quirks, the cabin provided the authentic, woodsy atmosphere we were looking for, with plenty of towels, percolated coffee, and a charming location. If you’re after a peaceful, rustic experience and don’t mind a few rough edges, it’s a wonderful spot to unwind and connect with nature.

Friendly, proactive hosts. The cabin was clean and ready for us. Electrical and wifi worked great. We enjoyed the solitude and wildlife (lots of deer and frogs). The fire pit is big enough for a bonfire, we had to stretch to do smores. The water pressure is very low, it was hard to wash your hands let alone shower. The water is full of minerals, our dog’s bowl was mostly brown. We visited the baths in Berkeley Springs and filled up bottles with free, delicious, spring water. Be aware that the master bed has an old foam mattress that is no good if you suffer from back or joint pain.

If you are looking for a secluded spot away from everything, this is your place. The cabin is rustic, with enough amenities to make sure you feel comfortable. The fire pit and grill are great touches. Overall, I highly recommend.

The location was amazing! It suited our needs adequately. It was perfect for relaxation and the giant fire pit out front was very inviting. I loved sitting on the porch. I loved opening the windows to fall asleep to the sounds of the outdoors. Two of our three days we watched deer. Tony’s communication was very good. The biggest distraction to me was a very long list of maintenance items that needed addressed. None were earth shattering and everything was completely livable. But there are many “Berkley Springs area” cabins for similar cost and significantly better maintained.

A great spot for a weekend getaway! We loved the fire pit and the hot tub!

The cabin was just what we were looking for. Secluded with a fire pit, hot tub, and great grill. Nice, tidy, and clean. Perfect for two people who wanted to get away from the city for a nice, quiet weekend. The surrounding woods were beautiful and the road was both slow, barely trafficked, and far enough away from the house that we didn’t even notice it was there. We would definitely stay again!

Tony was great! The cabin was very easy to get to and looked just like the photos. During the night a tree fell across the driveway and Tony answered right away was able to get it cleared out quickly. The hot tub was so amazing! My husband did get a tick on him so make sure after you walk the woods you look for ticks!

Loved the cabin and location. Would come back again for sure! Tony was great as a host and had zero issues. However I wish the location would have been a little more maintained. It was clean inside, but the cabin itself needs a little TLC and it could be immaculate again!

Good overall, the building was older and not as well maintained. There was a noticeable smoke smell. Hot tub was nice. Area was beautiful and remote.

So the water does smell like boiled eggs which is something the owner and all who’ve stayed have mentioned. I believe Tony did his best to fix it. But past that it was an excellent stay and my girlfriend and dog!

Tony’s cabin was truly an oasis of peace and quiet. The only sounds were the wind in the treetops, the crackling of the fireI had laid in, and the subtle hum of the hot tub pump. Truly, sitting in the hot tub with my wife and watching far-off lightning reflect up into the clouds while watching the stars overhead was incredibly relaxing. Thanks Tony!!

Our family had a wonderful time at Tony’s cabin. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay smooth from start to finish. Check in is super easy and Tony communicated everything we could need to know prior to arrival. We did have to clean out the fire pits inside and outside prior to use, but beyond that everything was exactly as stated and pictured. The location is very private and we were so thankful to enjoy a weekend away with our dog.

Great secluded cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of hiking and things to do in area.

The cabin was just right for our one night getaway. Might be worth noting that a lot of places in town seemed to be closed or close early on Sundays. The water smell was pretty bad, but we realize that’s no one’s fault. We always appreciate a dog-friendly place!

It was the perfect girls trip staycation. Cabin is nestled in the woods and is surrounded by beautiful trees. The interior is so cozy and amenities are fantastic. Highly recommend this dog friendly getaway and would hope to come back again with friends some day.

Tony’s place was absolutely incredible! It was so peaceful and beautiful and the home was exactly as listed! He was also very kind and responsive every time I needed to reach out. Highly recommend staying here as I know we’ll be back!

This place was great for a weekend getaway and I have no regrets staying here. Pros: secluded but still good internet Host was friendly and quick to respond Hot tub worked great Fire pit was large and cozy Plenty of beds and seating Lock box makes check in and check out easy Cons: water did have a gross smell from the minerals (would recommend brushing teeth with bottled water. You’ll also smell like the water after your shower.) Tile on shower steps could use some attention as the are cracking and coming loose. Check out time was earlier than most places I’ve stayed at (10am) Overall I would recommend staying at this location. The host was great at responding and providing any needed help. While the water does have a bad smell as other people mentioned, it’s not a deal breaker. Just bring some bottled water and it’ll be fine for a couple nights. The many amenities will make for a fun getaway.

We enjoyed every single space from Tony’s place! The Cabin, the peace, and the experience was worth the trip and money 🙏🏽🤑 We would definitely come back!

This was a great place to relax and be away from the city. Our family had a great time. I’d definitely say make sure you have everything before heading back to the cabin from the store as it’s 20 minute drive. Definitely recommend staying here

Remote and cozy cabin!

Had a terrific four days. Great hiking within the area close by, great dinner at Canary Grill. Hot tub was very relaxing especially at night. Will come back again in the Fall. Communication with Tony was outstanding!

Tony was an absolute amazing host. The instructions to get in were perfectly clear. He provided a lot of detail about how to get to the cabin (like speed limits even though roads were clearly marked!) Once inside, the cabin itself was perfectly appointed. Great kitchenware available. Every time I looked for something (like a light switch, a fan, or even a night light) — the items around the house were in the perfect and expected spots! I especially loved how thoughtful the hosts were with the fire pit and instructions. Most importantly for me: I used the hot tub every night watching the sunset!! Can’t wait to come again and visit Tony’s other properties too.

Tony was an absolutely wonderful host. I came out here with a large group of friends, and there was plenty to do at the cabin, although Tony had great hiking recommendations that we also used. The cabin itself is cozy and private but simultaneously spacious enough. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking basics. Some of the beds weren’t too comfortable while others were extremely soft and comfortable. The forest was stunning, and the drive up was beautiful. Tony was always one step ahead, communicating before we even had any questions, and he was flexible too. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone interested in coming up to this area.

Our favorite part about this cabin is how secluded it was! Our dog loved watching the deer and sitting by the fire with us late at night. The hot tub on the deck under the roof was perfect to enjoy the rain in. Will definitely be back!

Tony’s place was just as described! My kids had fun staying in the loft and we had a quiet bedroom to ourselves. Hot tub was great. Dogs loved being out in the wilderness. Tony gave us a heads up about a fire ban which was sad but super helpful and necessary. Great hosts and great place!

Absolutely lovely!! Super clean and great host! Great cooling! Clean bathroom, amazing area! Was a little hard to spot the cottage but the host stayed on the phone with us guiding us till we found it. The bath water did have an interesting smell which I didn’t love. But overall the place is just lovely. Would highly recommend and definitely go visit again! Thank you tony.

This home is in a very beautiful setting. The home was clean, comfortable and well equipped. It has the feel of a rustic cabin in the woods, and is nicely decorated, but not “glamorous” in any way. We were greeted upon arrival, and in the morning, by a small herd of deer! The drive up the mountain to get there is spectacular. Tony was a very responsive host. We would stay here again if it worked with our travel plans.

Perfect spot for a getaway with our two active pups! We very much enjoyed our hikes through the woods with scenic views, time outside at the convenient fire pit, and relaxing in the cabin by the fire. The cabin is an incredibly quaint and charming structure, with its beautiful wooden A-frame, expansive windows, and spacious and functional porch. The inside of the cabin is efficient yet open, allowing for cozy and comfortable living for the two of us (+ two dogs) for a few nights. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some of our favorite meals and make our favorite drinks 😉 Though, worth noting that expectations of spotlessness should be managed given the rustic nature of this being a cabin in the woods. Most significantly, Tony is a fantastic host! He was welcoming, responsive, generous, and flexible with our last minute requests about check-in time or extending our stay. We would definitely consider returning in the future if Tony would have us!

The most professional experience we have had. Very remote, maybe a few other cabins around but no noise, light or strangers around. Perfect for a little remote getaway away from all the noise of life.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Tony’s cabin. Tony was an amazing host and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for the trip. Tony gave recommendations on places to eat, and was very quick to respond to any questions/concerns. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace, we used both multiple times. The bed was very comfortable and had very fluffy pillows, which was super nice as well. This cabin also has very good views for stargazing when the sky is clear. The internet worked well, I was able to stream Netflix easily, and we were also able to stream the NFL game on Prime without issue. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this cabin. Also, hiking at devil’s nose (about 1hr away) was well worth the drive, and had a beautiful overlook.

Nice cozy cabin with a fireplace, along with a kitchen that’s great for cooking. There was nonstop rain the weekend we came, and we still thoroughly enjoyed just lounging around in the cabin.

This cabin is in a beautiful area, on a wonderful piece of property – remote, quiet, and serene. The couch and indoor fireplace are so comfy, and Tony is a great host – with strong communication and care shown to his guests.

Great location for just staying in. Very private. Also great to explore local points of interest. Great Cacapon Resort State Park has an amazing overlook and lots of hiking. PawPaw Tunnel is a neat site and history interesting. Berkeley Springs has some neat shops and restaurants. The Historic Star Theatre is a unique theatre lost in time. All in all a great spot to stay in or plenty to explore.

Tony’s cabin was a wonderful place to stay! Very cozy and well kept, and the sofa will just pull you in (it’s massively comfortable!!!). The cabin is also really remote – almost 20 minutes driving from any major road – which makes it very quiet and calm. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay in this area!!

This was our third stay at Tony’s cabin; my partner’s first time. As the family chef he was particularly thrilled with the kitchen set up. The dogs had a wonderful time as they always do. We enjoyed the cool weather and already changing leaves.

Easy to get to, squeaky clean, well stocked with essentials and excellent communication from the host. Felt very comfortable and cozy there, didn’t need a thing! Loved the well equipped kitchen (Sharp knives! and I could have made a 3 course meal for a crowd from scratch with the tools pots/pans and dishes provided) No complaints from me will likely be returning.

Genuinely one of the best air bnb experiences I’ve had. Very clean, lots of space to get away. The cabin is a really good size and not too far away from some good swimming spots. The communication was the best part, they answered every question in a timely manner and were incredibly friendly. 10/10 would stay again

This is a great little cabin to stay for a few days. Tony was very helpful, checked in on us occasionally via text but also gave us our space. He communicated well and was very accommodating. This cabin is secluded enough to feel far away from the rest of the world with also the convenience of just a 20-30 min drive into town. The deck out front is beautiful. We ate all our meals out on it. We used the propane grill to cook dinner each night. The kitchen is also stocked with all of your general cooking needs like utensils, bowls, pans, and such. The fire pit out front is huge with 4 Adirondack chairs around it. The deer visited us a few times while we were sitting around the fire. Inside the cabin: everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of blankets and pillows to go around. Things I appreciated about the bathroom: Shampoo and Body Wash dispensers in the shower, plenty of towels and wash cloths for everyone, and the washer/dryer. There was laundry detergent and dish washer pods available as well. The living area had a very spacious and comfortable couch with a TV for the times you want to stay in. They have a Roku hooked up to the TV as well, so you can log in to Hulu, Netflix etc. I would definitely recommend this place for a simple yet comfortable stay in West Virginia.

The cabin is fantastic. The location is excellent. Overall very peaceful and quiet. Bring firewood if you want to use their firepit. Saw wildlife everyday. If your looking to get away from the noise and hassle, this is the perfect place.

If you want a place to get away from it all this is the spot. It reminded me of going to my grandparents cabin. Tony had everything you would need and it was clean and tidy. Just what we were looking for.

Had an awesome stay at the cabin – wish I had more time there. just driving to it was an adventure in itself, ascending and descending through the windy mountain roads, pulling over at times just to try and take it all in (appropriately of course 😀). Cabin itself is in a small, remote community but I only saw or heard neighbors when they drove by, I was engulfed in the wonderful array of different birds and frogs/toads, depending on time of day – also occasional chainsaw unfortunately. You can spend about an hour walking the cabin property and discovering things like Huckleberry bushes and Red spotted newts. Cabin itself is spacious, comfortable and clean for a Cabin 😉. Has all the amenities of home. Located near some large parks/forests like Green Ridge, which we hiked some of on day 2, and I think you can walk around near the property as well through public lands if you don’t want to drive but you’d have to walk on public, commercial access roads (would ask Tony though) Tony was a great host, very communicative if you needed him, super friendly too. My only comment is I felt there was more outdoorsy things to do/places to explore in the area – my All Trails app showed several hiking trails, parks etc… within 30 +/- min drive, but cabin info packet listed maybe 3, one of which I couldn’t bring my dog to so having a bit more knowledge of the areas outdoorsy stuff would only help others with options of things to do (and yes I could’ve done a better job at homework!! 😬). Not a complaint but I noticed parts of the area seem very conservative so just keep an open mind when exploring because the cabin, the locale are totally worth the time money to experience!

The cabin is on a nice quite acreage with tall trees providing a high canopy. The generous fire ring and the large deck give you plenty of reason to be outside!

My young children, dog and I had a great, short stay at Tony’s cabin. Check-in was a breeze, Tony was quick to communicate, and the cabin was very clean. We were only there for a short stay but would have been comfortable staying longer. My dog enjoyed sitting out on the deck. I was worried about my minivan with low clearance making it up the street and down the driveway but it wasn’t a problem at all. I was surprised at how clean the cabin was given the rustic setting. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing little getaway – took a solo trip just to relax and this was the perfect place to do it. Quiet, clean, and Tony was an amazing host and communicator. Really enjoyed my stay and look forward to visiting again!

Nice spot away from the bustle. Tony was great — responsive and helpful and gave us some great tips on local spots to check out. Would stay again. One thing to note is that this is ~25 mins outside of Berkeley Springs.

We enjoyed staying here for a few days, as we are gathering ideas to build our own log cabin. We appreciated the clear communication with our host, and the ease of checking in (lockbox code for key). The property was just as you would expect a rustic cabin to be. We had everything we needed to cook and grill all of our meals there and we brought wood for both and indoor and outdoor fire. The long dining table, large sectional sofa, and extra beds (although we didn’t utilize) were all nice features. The area was very quiet with the exception of a new construction down the road but it really wasn’t a big bother and was intermittent. We had fun biking on the hills all around the area. Holy moly! 🙂

Great cabin stay. Excellent communication by Tony, clear instructions. Enjoyed a weekend of hiking and relaxing by the fire. For those with dogs, the deck is amazing & comes with a gate attached to gate off the stairs. Lots of bone chewing in the sunshine while we relaxed and read.

The stay was amazing and a nice getaway from the city with ample land to have privacy and some really nice hikes writhing 30 mins of this location. Tony was a great host and was really responsive when ever I reached out. The cabin it’s self was spacious and beautiful.

Tony’s place is really cozy and just what we needed to escape and unwind. Close to several state forests and other hiking spots, close enough to Berkeley Springs to go out for a good meal. Easy to find and easy to check in and check out. We booked last minute and Tony was really accommodating and helpful.

Was a 11/10, the house is super clean and has everything you’ll need. The views are beautiful and the host Tony is super responsive and helpful! We brought our dog and had such a great night, it’s such a cute and well maintained home the stay was amazing! We totally recommend this or any other of Tony’s places as they have all been amazing thus far! We look forward to our next visit!
