Super cute cottage! Very clean, easy to find, good location, and had everything that we needed! Had a problem with the WiFi and the host was very responsive in helping to resolve it.

Positive:
This was a cute cottage that was bigger than expected! I loved the little porch on the front of the house as did my GSDs :). Even better I realized the 2nd day of my stay that you could open up the glass/screen windows on the porch for a little more or less air – brilliant!! Back porch and yard were fantastic, but given the time of year and temp didn’t spend a ton of time out there, though I did sit on the back porch for a short period of time 🙂
Negative:
Overall I thought it was great. Super gracious hosts – very responsive – checked in on me several time to see if I needed anything – so lovely. Only one thing I’d note and more of an FYI is there was no cookie sheet/baking pan. Under other circumstances, I probably wouldn’t have even noticed, but I did bring something that needed to be heated in the oven – not a knock on the property or host at all.. just something to be aware of. It was no biggie since I went to the Island Food Store to pick up a couple of things anyway, so I just grabbed some aluminum disposable pansl 🙂

The house was clean, easy to find, super spacious and the backyard is huge.
They don’t tell you that you’ll be chatting with a chat bot mostly, not a person, so some of the responses we got didn’t make sense. According to the chat bot they do not provide coffee (even though this listing says it does) and they do provide a working oven but no baking pans or anything that can be used to cook in the oven.
We would come back, the island is beautiful!

Great stay! We were a little put off at first by the neighborhood and the exterior of the house but the inside was wonderful. Great value, definitely would stay there again. Tony and Blue maple were great at answering our questions!

This is my second stay here. This house is deceivingly large! You can’t tell how spacious it is from the outside. It is very clean, and area is quiet and beautiful. We will definitely return! Tony is very helpful and friendly. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay. Cute, beach decor and feel to the place. The island is charming and we had a great time visiting Assateague also. We were just there for one night.

Place needs some general maintenance I guess that you can contribute it to a coastal home and we didn’t go during peak season. The main disappointment for my kids was the fire pit was no longer useable as the bottom had rusted out, exterior of the home was In need of some paint and other small repairs.

Lovely stay away from the main Chincoteague drag. The house worked well for our small crew (3 adults, 2 kids). Would stay here again.

This house is a completely fine rental on Chincoteague. The location is great, the house is spacious, the kitchen is well-equipped, and, very importantly for us, it allowed dogs. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the clean up instructions are clear.
However, there are a handful of issues that could be significant for your decision. First of all, the managers will push you to their own home rental platform called Blue Maple, where you will have to sign a separate agreement to get the house manual. They also did not send an entrance code until 3 hours before we arrived, which was nerve wracking to me.
Most importantly, the photos on the listing just aren’t up to date or quite accurate. The house is older and less bright than it looks and the windows dingier. The backyard has decayed significantly. There was no picnic table there, just empty concrete, and the plants in the listing photo hide a giant propane tank sitting in the yard, which is now totally exposed. Just be aware!

Tony’s is a clean and cute three bedroom complete with linens. The house is as pictured, with three cute bedrooms down one side and a living, dining and kitchen around the front and other side. In the back there is a screened porch looking into the back yard. The backyard abuts a creek, where we saw a turtle and some birds. The yard is not fully fenced for a dog. Even if you brought some fencing to cover the wooden fence the dog would be able to get into the creek and then the neighbors yard. The backyard does have a large propane tank in the middle. There is a nice sun porch on the front, looking onto the main road. The speed limit is 25 and we were able to safely ride bikes into town. Its a 10 minute bike ride into town for groceries, shopping and restaurants. Its 6 miles to the beach, so it would be a long ride. We really enjoyed our stay in April. We saw ponies, went on a boat tour (Up the Bay), enjoyed the beach, arcade and many restaurants and shops

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights (3/11-13) in the off season. Check in was easy, the place was SPOTLESS. The cottage was as described. It is a cottage- not fancy brand new construction. It was exactly as described and perfect for our stay. We wish it had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the great back yard and fire pit and porches, but that’s spring weather on the island. My friend has stayed in many timeshares and said this place was far cleaner, so whomever he has cleaning is top notch. Comfortable beds, easy access to town, well stocked kitchen… we had a great stay. Thank you for sharing your beach cottage with us.

The reviews for this place were mixed which made me nervous. My honest feelings about this cottage were that it is cozy comfortable and feels lived in! If you want a pristine brand new model type home this might not be for you. However, I believe it was perfect! It was clean and really comfortable! I felt at home and truly appreciate that my dogs were allowed to come! The space is very spacious and I felt very comfortable there. I will be staying again!

Tony’s excellent communication was always prompt and proactive. House was basic and slightly worn around the edges -however the price reflected that small downside. The house is spacious with 3 nice bedrooms, two porches and a pleasant back yard. A group of six would have room to spread out and have some privacy if needed. Excellent value- Will return.

We had a great stay at the creek side cottage. Good location for quiet, very clean and a very helpful and responsive host. Great recommendations, we loved the coffee shop!

My family really enjoyed our stay. A last minute change in our trip caused us to need accommodations for one night. Not only was Tony responsive at 10pm he was very accommodating. We really appreciate Tony’s excellent customer service and flexibility. The home was nice and just how the pictured showed.
