Tony and his team were very helpful and accommodating. We had some concerns upon arrival but they were promptly taken care of so we could enjoy the rest of our stay. I also appreciated how I able to communicate with them regardless of the time. I definitely recommend booking through Tony if you’re looking to explore Virginia!

We had a great stay here at Tony’s cabin for my 27th birthday! The first night was really rough as the heat didn’t keep up, it was difficult to heat the first night.. the water pipes froze and we were so cold that we had an early morning. great things to do in the area; Beards and broads, luray caverns, Shenandoah national park, and nearby fast food, restaurants. The hot tub was the perfect addition to our stay. (Be careful when the steps are wet because my boyfriend actually slipped!) overall we would stay again, and we recommend this cabin to others.! Maintenance responded within 1 hour for our frozen pipes, and turned on the other heat source for us 🙂

We had a great stay here at Tony’s cabin for my 27th birthday! On the last leg of our road trip, we were so glad to be able to book this cabin a few hours before check-in (same day).
It was very secluded and serene. The perfect size for 2 needing a place to stay the night. The hot tub was amazing. Thank you!

Great stay, nice secluded location. Little more traffic on the weekend, but it’s the weekend, to be expected. Lots of stuff to do around. Great scenery.
Couple of minor things I would suggest for the owners, maybe more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 people for the week. Maybe there was more squirreled away somewhere, but I couldn’t find it. No biggie(although some likely would make a big deal about it), just a suggestion. Also maybe some dish towels to dry dishes.
Next people there, there are a couple containers of ice cream in the fridge, and an unopened bag of fries. Couldn’t take them with us, as they would have melted/thawed before we got home, hopefully they don’t go to waste. Also a bag of dog g treats in the cupboard. Bought them because they said made with bacon, first ingredient says chicken which our Lexie is allergic to chicken. Didn’t realize until we got back one night, and wasn’t worth taking back.

Beautiful home, had no complaint’s the whole time I was there. Very peaceful and secluded, definitely recommend to people looking for a getaway with a partner. Tony was very helpful and gave some good food recommendations. Overall was a 10/10 for me

A peaceful place in the woods semiprivate, close to the road; however, there was not a lot of traffic or people because the other homes were privately tucked farther back in the woods. The hot tub was GREAT! A nice stay for 2. Pets are allowed so we could tell pets had stayed.

The cabin was easy to find and the description was pretty accurate. Photos shown on the listing were very edited, but it was a quaint little cabin with everything described. The cabin could’ve been cleaner. The host was adamant about ensuring we were out of there by 10am. For the strict check out instructions and $89 cleaning fee, I would’ve expected the cabin to be immaculate. There was a lot of dog hair and the rugs were pretty dinghy. We had a nice time overall.

great stay. Accurately described in the description. It’s on a gravel road but right at the corner and very visible from the road so not entirely PRIVATE, but it’s a great stay. Would absolutely stay again. Tony was a great host.

It’s a nice little crooked cabin. Only downside was how close the dirt road was and that the porch faced the road not the creek, but it was good for waving to people as they drove past. Also the hot tub was out front which is not great for privacy even with the screen.
But the bed was nice, the linens clean, the kitchen tidy, the floors charmingly slanted.
And the mornings were lovely. The birds singing. The hill rising up covered in trees. Perfect for a cup of coffee as the sun rose.
And mount jackson was lovely. Everyone friendly. Totally would come again.

Really enjoyed staying at Tony’s place. It was just what my friend and I needed for our weekend getaway. The place was easy to find and it looked just like the pics. We used almost all of the amenities. Loved the hot tub and the firepit! We even brought some groceries so that we could make breakfast each day. The cabin was not super fancy (we weren’t looking for that), but definitely warm and cozy with TOP TIER wifi!
There was a slight hiccup with a broken piece of furniture from a prior guest, but Tony was proactively communicative and it did not impact our stay. I’d definitely recommend coming here for a getaway out of the city. We got here in about 2 hours from DC.

Cute little cabin, it was very good for a little time away by myself. Is right on a road so not super private but there weren’t many people going by. Nice little hot tub. Very peaceful.
Loved the Owls that sang to me at night. Great little community store close by. Nice smart TV!

everything was great! however, there were two issues we encountered: The lights randomly went out, and the heat wasn’t working. We were able to play around with the heat a little bit to get it to go back on. everything else was perfect, thank you! it was a very cozy home.

Nice little hut. Clean and well maintained. The bathroom could do with a makeover. The sofa should be replaced soon as it is worn out.
Otherwise there are no complaints. Ideal place for a short break from the stressful everyday life in the city.

This place was a nice getaway from the city! My partner and I live near DC and wanted to spend a few days down in the Luray/Shenandoah area. This cabin was a perfect contrast to our place in the city. The area is both remote and not at the same time. The cabin is nestled into a neighborhood, I would say you’re never more than 0.5 miles away from another house. But at the same time, we felt like we were off the grid. Maybe it was from how dark it was at night!
The cabin is very quaint and cute! The interior design was modern and comfortable. The place was very clean, and it was stocked up with everything you could possibly need. The couch in the living room was not very comfortable to sit on while we watched TV, although the bed in the bedroom sure made up for it. We used the hot tub at night and it was very easy to set up and use! Overall, the place was great. I wish we had spent more time here to really soak in the beauty of it.

Tony’s cabin is a lovely space in a beautiful area. The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was warm and the fire pit is huge! We are big breakfast people and the kitchen had everything we needed.
We had issues starting the heater and Tony was extremely responsive and had a handyman out quickly, who got the place nice and toasty. Tony’s cabin is definitely recommended by myhusband, me, and our pup!

If you pay for the late check out, be sure to use it. There is no refund if you check out at the normal 10 AM time even if you have to get back sooner than you expected due to circumstances beyond your control. Otherwise spot was good.

It was very quiet and peaceful very nice old cabin perfect for 2 to 4 people. Which is nice lot of places you rent are humongous homes and when it's just you and your wife and your dog you just want something small and this fit the bill perfectly.

From the get-go Tony was very responsive and proactive in regards to our reservation! The house manual he provided was very useful for directions, instructions, the amenities and suggestions of things to do around the cabin. Tony even offered us early check-in on the day of our reservation. We loved how cute the cabin was and appreciated the cleanliness too! The hot tub was a treat to use after a day of exploring the National Park. This cabin is perfect if you’re looking for a cozy, private getaway. Bonus points for hosting our dog too! We would definitely return and stay again.

Tony was amazing. Very communicative.
Staying here was nice and all considering the fact that we got a deal on this place but we thought it would’ve been more secluded. But the house is on the corner of a main road and there were neighbors passing by a lot. Hot tub was amazing even tho the jets were out. Place is a lot smaller than in pics. My friend who is 5’10 almost reached the top of the ceiling. But it was good enough for our pups and us. The pups loved having a yard to run around in all day. We took advantage of the fire pit every night which was nice.

A good little cabin in the woods. Smaller than expected, but worked fine for us for a long weekend away.
Mindful of little upcharges to the price (fees if you want to check-in early/check-out late, $25 for a pile of firewood), so just be mindful of that when booking.

Great place. However definitely pay attention to the critter warning. Found a mouse in the cabinet and about had a heart attack. Wash utensils before using but critters were harmless. Very clean environment, and thoughtful additions like a bowl of single use makeup wipes.

This cabin was perfect and Tony was a great host. He provided any information I could have needed in one document, the cabin was cozy and clean, and Tony checked in periodically to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed help with. I would recommend this cabin and hope to visit again someday!

Located in a very beautiful area with a lot of farms and mountains in the distance. Really enjoyed the hot tub! The washer and dryer was helpful and nice to have during our stay and we utilized the full kitchen as well as the grill.
The fire pit was a nice addition but firewood was hard to locate. We ended up finding some at Lowe’s. The chairs sat really low back and the fire ring was high up so it was hard to feel the heat of the fire.
A warning, the ceilings are pretty low in the kitchen. I am 5’8” and I could touch the ceiling easily. If you are 6’+ you may have to duck in the kitchen.
Tony was really helpful and available to answer questions and always responded quickly.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

It’s at a great location, very much secluded. Heads up, bring firewood. There’s posted signs everywhere, which makes it trespassing to enter the woods. Seemed like a brand new AirBNB. Tony was very responsive & even left us check in an hour early! We checked out the the recommended Shenandoah Forest & Shenandoah Caverns on the itinerary! Was absolutely beautiful & a wonderful experience. The waterfalls were breathtaking!

Absolutely the worst Airbnb experience I've ever encountered. Could only stand one night. The heating was barely working in freezing temps, and making a terribly obnoxious noise all night. It was dirty, dusty with mice or rat feaces. Cabin was way smaller than advertised, and on a tilt. Bathroom was unusable - couldn't adjust temp control. Water smelled, sink was crushed between the wall and the washer/dryer.
Reported all immediately to Tony (aka stay blue maple) who communicated we would receive a full refund but they have ghosted Airbnb customer service and still waiting on resolution.
Stay away from this property, or anything associated with stay blue maple properties. They need to be delisted from Airbnb.

We arrived late at night & noticed that the smell of the cabin was unpleasant. There were 3 fabreeze plug-ins trying to mask a stinky wet dog smell. We can't stand strong fragrances, so we had to unplug them. We got settled in and tried to go to sleep, but noticed the bed had hair on it and found a used paper towel in the bed sheets. We had to wash & dry the bedding before we could sleep.
The next day we decided to work on the smell. We took the Split air unit's filter out & cleaned it, because the smell seemed to come from there. That helped a little, but the rug was still smelly. The propane heater wouldn't work & we had to research how to relight the pilot light which took 5 to 10 mins on hands & knees to get working. It stopped working after two days.
We reached out to the owners about these issues & he said the split unit will heat the cabin just fine. He also gave us $50 back for washing the bedding.
Hot tub & fire pit were nice, but water pressure is low for showers.

While this does give you a cabin in semi woods, the house sits right on a fairly busy back road with people who speed by so be very careful if you have dogs with you. The place also could use some hearty maintenance, the shower has a hole under the shower head and it was fairly dirty with a hair ball in the drain and hair on the wall of the shower…for paying for an extra early check in fee which I imagine was due to cleaners needing to come in earlier than usual, it seemed minimally cleaned. The hot tub was nice but it’s not very private so be aware of that. And lastly the bedroom will only close or open all the way if you move the bed. It’s a much smaller house than it seems. All in all, this wasn’t worth the price or the extra fee for early check in/late check out.
The host was very responsive and did offer good local recommendations.

Overall, our family had a nice time at the cabin. The cabin is cute and in a lovely rustic location and Tony communicates fast. But the cabin was not as described from when I booked in February (slept 4 people and had a hot tub). The hot tub became unavailable after we booked which we noticed from the reviews. When we asked, Tony confirmed it would not be available for our stay. We felt that he should have communicated that to us earlier. The listing still had it described in the title and the picture was still there. Next, we noticed as our booking approached that the max number of people changed from 4 to 2. When I asked Tony he assured me that the cabin slept 4 but when we got there the pull out sofa had been replaced with a regular couch and there was not additional bedding. It was a comfortable sleep for my daughter. Luckily the listing looks to be accurate now for new bookings. Maybe we were unlucky.

Tony was very responsive and it’s appreciated. However, there appeared to be issues with septic as every time we used the bathroom or sinks there would be a foul smell like of fecal matter lingered. The photos and house manual was not updated, as hot tub was not accessible and it wasn’t clear or advertised as that ( I even asked host if we could use it and he said yes prior to when I booked it). We had zero privacy whenever we were outside as passerbyers or residents (drivers) would either stop and/or slow down and stare at myself, my dogs, and my partner. We would be sitting around the fire pit and had drivers stop and stare then leave. It was uncomfortable and made me feel unsafe at times. It was not as dog friendly, the area/land, as advertised either. I appreciated the warmly welcome from our hosts and the clean sheets and cozy bed. I wish we weren’t misled and had more transparency of unavailable amenities rather than having to guess about it on “listings”. Price should’ve been lo

The cabin is very quaint and cute! The interior design was modern and comfortable. The place was very clean, and it was stocked up with everything you could possibly need. The couch in the living room was not very comfortable to sit on while we watched TV, although the bed in the bedroom sure made up for it. We used the hot tub at night and it was very easy to set up and use! Overall, the place was great. I wish we had spent more time here to really soak in the beauty of it.

Tony's cabin is a lovely space in a beautiful area. The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was warm and the fire pit is huge! We are big breakfast people and the kitchen had everything we needed.
We had issues starting the heater and Tony was extremely responsive and had a handyman out quickly, who got the place nice and toasty. Tony's cabin is definitely recommended by myhusband, me, and our pup!

If you pay for the late check out, be sure to use it. There is no refund if you check out at the normal 10 AM time even if you have to get back sooner than you expected due to circumstances beyond your control. Otherwise spot was good.

This place is perfect for a cabin getaway from the city. Peaceful and simple with great amenities. Communication was great and easy to get to. And we got to bring our dog who was most welcome.

Positive:
It was very quiet and peaceful very nice old cabin perfect for 2 to 4 people. Which is nice lot of places you rent are humongous homes and when it's just you and your wife and your dog you just want something small and this fit the bill perfectly.

From the get-go Tony was very responsive and proactive in regards to our reservation! The house manual he provided was very useful for directions, instructions, the amenities and suggestions of things to do around the cabin. Tony even offered us early check-in on the day of our reservation. We loved how cute the cabin was and appreciated the cleanliness too! The hot tub was a treat to use after a day of exploring the National Park. This cabin is perfect if you're looking for a cozy, private getaway. Bonus points for hosting our dog too! We would definitely return and stay again.

Tony was amazing. Very communicative.
Staying here was nice and all considering the fact that we got a deal on this place but we thought it would’ve been more secluded. But the house is on the corner of a main road and there were neighbors passing by a lot. Hot tub was amazing even tho the jets were out. Place is a lot smaller than in pics. My friend who is 5’10 almost reached the top of the ceiling. But it was good enough for our pups and us. The pups loved having a yard to run around in all day. We took advantage of the fire pit every night which was nice.

A good little cabin in the woods. Smaller than expected, but worked fine for us for a long weekend away.
Mindful of little upcharges to the price (fees if you want to check-in early/check-out late, $25 for a pile of firewood), so just be mindful of that when booking.

Tony’s place was a great getaway, the hot tub outside was awesome it made its own bubbles. Neighbors are friendly, there’s a lot stuff to do, hiking, caverns, skyline, water parks, etc. Thanks Tony for the amazing house! we will be back again!

Great place. However definitely pay attention to the critter warning. Found a mouse in the cabinet and about had a heart attack. Wash utensils before using but critters were harmless. Very clean environment, and thoughtful additions like a bowl of single use makeup wipes.

This cabin was perfect and Tony was a great host. He provided any information I could have needed in one document, the cabin was cozy and clean, and Tony checked in periodically to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed help with. I would recommend this cabin and hope to visit again someday!

God, what an awful one hour before I decided I had to get out. First I asked for early check in- I got a late check in instead because the host said he would text me when the cleaners were gone but that was at 4:45pm. I arrived around 3 and parked in the neighborhood to watch the cleaners leave and they never even left!! They were never even there! I get in, it immediately smells like rotten flesh. Huge turn off. Place is much smaller than expected - the photos were obv very enhanced with great lighting but not in person. Rat poop EVERYWHERE - on the towels, sheets, pillow, grills. Bathroom is HORRENDOUS. Looks like mold growing in the shower, toilet bowl, I didn’t even want to look at the sink for more nightmare materials. Giants ants in the kitchen, kitchen is also filthy. Sink has black mold growing or no one has washed it since 1776. Everything was just so dirty, we did the paper towel test on the floors and various surfaces and they all came disgusting. I left the same day.

Located in a very beautiful area with a lot of farms and mountains in the distance. Really enjoyed the hot tub! The washer and dryer was helpful and nice to have during our stay and we utilized the full kitchen as well as the grill.
The fire pit was a nice addition but firewood was hard to locate. We ended up finding some at Lowe’s. The chairs sat really low back and the fire ring was high up so it was hard to feel the heat of the fire.
A warning, the ceilings are pretty low in the kitchen. I am 5’8” and I could touch the ceiling easily. If you are 6’+ you may have to duck in the kitchen.
Tony was really helpful and available to answer questions and always responded quickly.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

It's at a great location, very much secluded. Heads up, bring firewood. There's posted signs everywhere, which makes it trespassing to enter the woods. Seemed like a brand new AirBNB. Tony was very responsive & even left us check in an hour early! We checked out the the recommended Shenandoah Forest & Shenandoah Caverns on the itinerary! Was absolutely beautiful & a wonderful experience. The waterfalls were breathtaking!
