Very clean well appointed property the host was very quick to reply to all my inquiries love the gazebo great place to sit when it was raining or when bugs were out.

We loved our stay at Tony’s place. The view is amazing—from the deck and from each of the rooms. The cabin is cute and has everything you need and comfy furniture. If you are looking for a getaway into nature, book this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Great cottage house with plenty of space inside and outside. Very clean and peaceful, recommend!

Positive:
Excellent location for what we needed - peace, quiet, stress-free relaxation, within easy reach of local trails. It met all our expectations and we were well-informed by the hosts about the facilities, local attractions and how the hot tub worked! The large deck is great for watching fire flys in the evening after an easy BBQ. The local nature - birds, deer, river, waterfalls and walks there are superb. It's great countryside around Luray.

Negative:
Nothing. We loved everything about the cabin, its location and what it offered.

Tony’s place has everything you’ll need for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is clean with a lot of useful amenities. The beds are comfortable and the carpets are soft. The game room is fun and the space is perfect. There’s plenty to do in the neighborhood and the local bait store is great - has everything you could need/want. The road leading to the house might be a little challenging to drive on but our party had a pick up truck, a Prius, and a motorcycle. All 3 did just fine! Just go for it! You’ll have a great time. :)

Stay was wonderful!!

My husband, our 1 year old and I ventured to WV for a relaxing weekend away! We enjoyed having a few places to eat close by, the privacy of the lake, the ability to have a fire at night and Capacon State Park less than 5 minutes away. The house pictures defiitely show what to expect and we were pleased with the size of the house; it is through and through a vacation rental. As others have mentioned the furniture/decor could use some updating. Our only issue was the cleanliness. Several important items had not been taken care of prior to our arrival and as others have indicated, it could use a deep clean (this is not just because it's a house in the mountains). I did communicate that to Tony and he apologized. We would probably stay here again but with the understanding that if everything was not fully cleaned, we'd be requesting our cleaning fee back.

Place was great! Would definitely recommend and would stay again. The porch is awesome and there’s an area for the puppies to explore. Spacious and clean. Thank you!

Beautiful area with and great home for a getaway.

Very nice! Tony is an exceptional host and we had a wonderful time. The time in the woods and the views of the valley were just what we needed.

Great getaway spot for a long weekend or longer stay! Remote but still accessible to a range of excellent outdoor activities. Communication was excellent and the cabin met all our needs.

This is the perfect place to relax and get away from the grind. My favorite area was the screened in porch where I spent hours reading, but the hot tub was also a nice bonus. The cabin offers plenty of space and activities ranging from movies, puzzles, and books to kayaks, paddle boards, and tubing on the river nearby. If you like being in nature with the comforts of home, you will truly love this property!

This is perfect little getaway from the city. It is also a very efficient and professional rental. Everything was ready and as presented. Tony checked in on us daily to make sure we had everything we needed and to offer suggestions. This host has multiple properties, would book again!

Tony is a great communicator and made our stay easy as possible! The cabin was exactly as described and made a nice weekend getaway in the woods.

This is a charming cabin in a beautiful area. You are secluded but close enough to the lodge to access all of their amenities. The cabin is well maintained and has all of the basic necessities your would need. We loved the fire pit and the access to many hiking spots close by. The house manual was full of useful information and Tony was always available for any questions or concerns. We would return in a heartbeat!

Place was great, albeit a little difficult to get to. About 30 minutes from the Front Royal entrance to the park.

The house was very cool and old (my favorite!) but was kept up quite well. Everything we needed was available. It included two street parking spots and is just a walk to town.

Tony was super communicative and was very helpful throughout our stay. I think it’ll be my go to for Harper’s Ferry stays!
