Just what we needed. A beautiful cabin set in the forest, it was very peaceful and quiet, and the leaves were near peak foliage. Tony’s communication was excellent and we really appreciated how helpful he was. Also, the Devil’s Nose hiking trail is very close and highly recommended.

Stayed here twice and it is one of the best airbnbs!
Cozy & comfortable
Cozy & comfortable! Hot tub was great, and the location was perfect.
We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay any better, our host Tony was awesome the cabin was everything we needed and clean
Tony’s place was just so fantastic for our 3 nights stay! He communicated everything so clearly and on time to us, and the place itself is beautiful, clean. and cozy. My friends and I came to Tony’s place to do a writing retreat, and spent most of our time in the cabin working which was a great for us. The WiFi was weak which made it hard for our purposes but if you’re just visiting to retreat from the city and mostly be outside, it’ll probably be enough for you.
All in all, we had a memorable time in the cabin, and were able to soak in the great views of trails and the parks around us! Tony was very ready to answer any questions and help us have a great trip, so I highly recommend his cabin for your next getaway!
A great getaway for a family-friendly vacation! Tony was super helpful and responsive throughout our entire stay. Lovely interior and a great location for nature lovers. We went on a simple drive out to Berkeley Springs for a spa day and also went on a few hikes. The 1 bathroom was a little tough to share even for just a family of 4, and it was a little snug finding spaces to sit and eat a meal altogether. If staying here, be sure to bring your own spoons/forks, laundry detergent, and a couple other amenities we forgot to ask for in advance! Other than a few minor places that we wished were better maintained (since paying the cleaning fee), overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!
Tony is a great host and very communicative; he responds very quickly to any text/emails. He checked in with us to make sure our first night went smoothly and to make himself available should we need any recommendations for activities/dining in the area.
We are pretty familiar with the area and knew it’d be easier to bring all of our own food since restaraunt and groceries are limited/further away than what us city folk are used to. The cabin had basic condiments and all the items we needed to prepare meals.
The cabin itself is very cozy and comfy. Beds were very comfortable and we got a good night’s sleep. Wi-Fi connection was good but I did notice it seemed to slow down randomly at times in the evening while we were browsing the internet; could be we had too many devices going at once with my son streaming as well. Cleanliness is really important to me when choosing an AirBnb and this cabin was very clean which I appreciated!
It was myself, husband and 8 yo son. We also brought our pups with us and they made themselves right at home. We did walk them (on leash) and explored the wooded area around the cabin, which was lovely. We also took them to Trout Pond Recreation Area and did the easy loop trail around the pond. It’s an easy loop with only one partially rocky/step area; I was able to get a little over 2 miles in running the loop twice. Bear in mind the rec area has an entrance fee and is cash/check only, and you’ll need exact change if paying cash ($8/day to visit) at the entrance.
If you’re looking for a long weekend vacation to explore the beauty of WV, this cabin is perfect especially since there’s so many parks/nature options in the area. Extra kudos for being pet friendly as well!
Very pretty home, cozy decor and great views from the windows, especially in the loft.
Great place! Would definitely come back
very cute place! nice and quiet. very easy check in and Tony had all the accommodations you need!
Great getaway from my husband and myself. Lots of great local restaurants- check out the pavement and for a fancier option, field of maine.
This is a very lovely cabin that’s in a great location for visiting New River Gorge! It was very clean and in a quiet area. Will definitely have to come back for a longer stay!
My family and I had a wonderful stay! The cabin is so cute, clean, and close to hiking at Cacapon. Tony was very communicative and great at providing details about the property. Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful, spacious stay. Very clean with many amenities. Hot tub was the cleanest of any airbnb i’ve stayed at! Great private location too
My husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Tony’s cabin. Tony was an amazing host and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed for the trip. Tony gave recommendations on places to eat, and was very quick to respond to any questions/concerns.
The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the outdoor firepit and indoor fireplace, we used both multiple times. The bed was very comfortable and had very fluffy pillows, which was super nice as well. This cabin also has very good views for stargazing when the sky is clear.
The internet worked well, I was able to stream Netflix easily, and we were also able to stream the NFL game on Prime without issue.
Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this cabin.
Also, hiking at devil’s nose (about 1hr away) was well worth the drive, and had a beautiful overlook.
Such a lovely spot! We went in autumn during peak foliage and the woods were just magical. We really loved the hot tub and the porch overlooking the foliage. Tony provides a doc with everything you need to know about the spot, which was incredibly useful. Communication with Tony was incredibly responsive. Highly recommend this spot and Tony as a host!
Great place! Clean, nice accommodations, plenty specious for a weekend away, loved the hot tub and the ability to make a fire. A perfect
place if you want to stay in and be cozy in a cabin for the weekend, and the foliage is gorgeous this time of year.
We had an amazing time! Cute cabin with everything you could need for a quick getaway or a longer trip. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, lake and nearby hiking trails. Highly recommend!
The place was beautiful: clean, comfortable, and accommodating. Amenities like the hot tub, bidet, rocking chairs, and a few others made the stay much nicer. We couldn't figure out how to work the lights in the Den—we tried every switch to no avail—and our host never responded over the Airbnb app, but the cabin didn't really *need* those lights. It just would have been nice to have. I was more concerned about if he would respond in an emergency—whether he saw my message and didn't reply or never saw it at all. There's absolutely no cell service at the place, and the WiFi is a little spotty, which made things a bit scary for city slickers like us imagining a bear around every corner.
This option was also a little pricier than others like it, but the view from waking up in the loft to the sunrise overlooking the valley was worth every penny.
4/5 stars. Would recommend.
There is something magical about this cabin. I felt more relaxed than I had in years during my stay there. The cozy wood stove, the mountain views, the comfy couch and excellent internet access all made for a perfect getaway. We loved the town of Berkeley Springs, too, and enjoyed hot soaks and massages. Can't wait to return!
