The place was exactly as described and had a nice outdoor area and hot tub as well. The kitchen was clean and very easy to use and store our food for the week. The bathroom itself was an ok size but I wanted to take a body shower and that’s impossible with the small size of the shower to even be able to avoid the water at all. You are completely under it at all times. There was only one bathroom which was fine but the toilet needed the flusher to be held down in order to efficiently flush. Lastly, we were here for a bachelorette weekend and ended up having to play games in the dining area rather than the living room/ sun room due to the stinkbugs. We fully expected some bugs as we are from Central, PA but they were pretty excessive to where we moved our stuff from that room and shut the sliding door for the remainder of the stay. The place is nice and secluded but not worth the price.

We loved our stay! Perfect location, hosts were great with communication, and everything was well described. Windows did not lock and shower was a bit rough but hosts were very receptive to fixing any issues that came up and we genuinely enjoyed our stay!

Cozy, clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay with some friends! Everything matched the description. The house had just enough space for us to both have our own alone time and to enjoy some board games all together. Heavily recommend renting from Blue Maple!!

This cabin was in a beautiful location. It had enough room for me and 3others to feel comfortable and have enough space and privacy. It felt very clean inside and the hot tub and fire pit area were great for having a chill peaceful place to be in the evenings. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely go back.

Booked Tony & Maples for an anniversary getaway trip, we wanted something nice a peaceful, for the most part easy to find with our map Waze. Nice and secluded, the hot tub was such a great touch to the cold days, and we stayed in a our whole trip, cooked and the kitchen had everything we needed, beds are super comfy, I will say we had some trouble trying to work the wooden stove (but it could have been due to the wood we got)but the cabin has heaters and thick fluffy blankets so we were just fine with that! overall the cabin is exactly as it’s pictured, and will be booking again!!

My fiancée and i had such a great cozy get a way. We loved it so much, we can’t wait to go back again. Highly recommend buying wood and groceries before getting to the house. Check out Charlotte Cafe, all the shops in town & the naked olive. Everyone was so nice and it just felt like a new world. We will definitely will be back in one of Tony & Blue Maple’s houses. ♥️

We had a peaceful stay and enjoyed the solitude and hot tub for stargazing! The bed was comfortable, and the wood stove was a nice touch. Tony was a very responsive host throughout the stay.

The purpose was to get in some r&r after the busy holiday season, and that is what we got! The hot tub was wonderful and we loved the lighting that was set up outside, it was like a peaceful oasis in the woods. If you stay in the winter months bring some extra firewood it gets a little chilly inside the cabin. The beds & pillows are comfy (I think the 1 bed is a full, though). It was VERY clean too. There was plenty of kitchenware if you want to cook in, if not, its about a 20 minute drive to town where the restaurants are. If you like seafood… I suggest Jimmy Joys, Saturday nights is ayce crab legs.

The cabin was well appointed and cozy. We enjoyed walking the property with our dogs every afternoon and tea by the fire at night before resting on one of the very comfortable mattresses.

we were visiting Shenendoah National Park. This was home base for us. Tony had clear instructions on how to find the place and get inside. We didn’t have any need for additional help, but it seems as though Tony would have been right there with an answer. We especially liked the hot tub after long days. If we were in the area again this home would be a strong contender for a repeat stay.

Lovely little spot in the woods. Would recommend getting there during daylight hours because the signage is minimal and there are many private roads in the neighborhood! Most things to do are about 20m away via care, so be sure to shop for supplies before arriving. Otherwise, beds were quite comfortable, hot tub was awesome, and it was very secluded!

It was an enjoyable secluded stay. The heart of Berkeley Springs is only a 25 minute drive away and Cacapon State Park is only 10 minutes away.

Great stay on a quiet cabin on an old homestead—if you’re here in the summer or fall you might be able to pick some apples or peaches! Very private, very peaceful, and very relaxing. The sun room especially made an entrancing affect when all the bright, white, translucent curtains were shut—the effect gave that room a feeling like one was floating among the clouds. Great cabin, great design, great location. Thank you, Tony!

The location was beautiful and the cabin was just as expected. Our only hiccup was the number of bugs. It’s highly expected in the mountains, and we understood that. However, we did see what we thought to be a cockroach on the first night, which through us off. Otherwise, the place was great and after that first night we didn’t see it again!

Location was great. Cacapon state park and Berkeley springs less than 20 mins away. Close to great restaurants! Would highly recommend the sandwiches at Tony’s butcher block!! Outdoor area was nice and surrounded by trees. Would recommend!

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay! We did a lot of hiking and enjoyed the outdoors at the nearby state parks. The hot tub was also a nice way to unwind after hiking! The home was clean and well stocked with comfort and fun activities to do during our downtime.

Had a fantastic stay at the cabin. The hot tub was just what I needed. Simple setup in the cabin but had everything that was needed. Showers were hot and bed was comfy(only stayed in the lower level bed can’t speak for others).

I had an amazing time bringing in my girlfriend’s birthday it was very accommodating and I slept just like it was my bed at home! The hot tub was such a nice touch to The outdoor experience and the privacy of the landscape was everything I needed to feel for a getaway from the city life. I would highly recommend this place for you and your family because you can cook dinner every night and not have to leave.

Nice place to get away as a couple. The Hot tub is next to the house and still offers a view. It was winter so not many other people at near by homes.
Interior of house had basic features. There are only 3 wall space heaters so it can be chilly even if you turn them up. The wood stove is nice but burns wood quickly due to a broken dampener.
Listing states there are 2 tvs but only has one down stairs by wood stove. So if you bring guests keep that in mind. Shower is also very small. Another thing to consider when bringing a family.
Overall nice experience at this place.

We had a great time. While the cabin needs some updating it is still a wonderful stay. We particularly loved the hot tub. The cabin is remote and a great place to feel disconnected but close to Berkeley Springs if you want something to do.

We had a great time at the cabin. It is located in a secluded, rural part of WV, however Berkeley Springs is just 25 mins away and full of friendly coffee shops, antique stores and grocery stores. Tony was super communicative as a host and quickly answered questions.
We enjoyed the hot tub, the grill and the wooden firestove. Our dog had a great time running around the grounds.
Highly recommended!
There is a shooting range nearby and the gunshots freaked out our dog (just in case you have anxious doggies)

We love this place, nice clean and homey. The location is beautiful and enjoyed the hot tub in the mornings and evenings. The wood stove inside was a nice feature and used it every evening. Tony is a great host and checked in with us and answered all of our questions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks Tony!

It was a great place to stay. It is in the middle of no where like I wanted. Definitely not as much to do in November, definitely Would have more during summer times. I got everything I wanted in the trip tho. The creek is cute and so is the cabin. Definitely clean and accommodating hosts

This is a secluded and charming little cabin. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out but also enjoy each other’s company. The hot tub was awesome and we appreciated the thorough handbook which included directions to the creek nearby. Berkeley Springs is not far away if you are looking for something to do. My husband enjoyed fishing at Cacapon State Park nearby.

This is a lovely, private getaway in a beautiful area. The space itself is spacious, and amenities are as described. There is a lovely creek nearby, and the area is quiet and serene. Tony is an incredibly responsive and proactive host.
The space could use a little TLC to take care of some of the usual wear and tear of a rental property. There was nothing too crazy, but one of the couches was stained pretty badly and several things throughout had just been worn to the point where they probably needed to be replaced.
Overall a lovely little place in a peaceful area, perfect for a weekend getaway!

Tony’s cabin was a great beautiful, quiet spot for a quick rainy get-away! We loved the hot-tub, big windows in the living room and box of games. The house was comfortable and relatively clean though a bit more rough around the edges than it looks in the pictures. Tony was a proactive host and I imagine would have been very responsive if anything came up (but thankfully it didn’t!)

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside Hideaway! Tony was a great host and exceptional communicator, from start to finish. Upon arrival, we found the cabin lit, smelling great, and welcoming after a long day and the late night drive. There was one small hiccup about the TVs, but Tony again responded about the issue very quickly, despite there not really being a solution.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had the perfect amount of space for the two of us. There was enough room for us to either cozy up in the same space or branch off into our favorite spots for some solo relaxation. Small note to future guests: the shower stall is quite small with a very high shower head that can’t really be shifted or redirected. We found that reducing the water pressure by not turning the shower fully on helped somewhat, but we think this would’ve been difficult for kids.
We absolutely loved this location and host and look forward to checking out other listings or coming back here in the future!

The place looked just like the listing! I ended up not having any problems with cell phone reception (with Verizon) so that was a nice surprise. I didn’t have to use the wifi at all. The host was helpful and prompt at texting back. The place was clean and so was the hot tub. It was a nice and peaceful, private stay.

The location was absolutely beautiful! A great place to disconnect with my family. The cabin had everything we needed and some. The hot tub is wonderful in the evening. Our only critique is that the cabin needs a little maintenance. The toilet broke right upon our arrival and there were some broken blinds, but the host was responsive. Overall I would 100% stay again.

If you are looking for a place that’s totally free of other people surrounded by peace and quiet- this is your place! The whole weekend we didn’t see a single car drive on the road, a total escape from the city.
Our two dogs loved the land and ability to run around but come inside and cool off inside while we relaxed by the fire or in the hot tub.
Could not recommend this property enough! Tony checked in throughout the weekend.

Tony’s cabin was great for our weekend getaway. The cabin itself is perfect for a family or two couples, there is a very nice sun room and a living room, then two bedrooms and an open first floor with a kitchen and dining room. The property itself is very secluded and you can barely see the neighbor’s house at this time of year. We saw over two dozen deer on the property, the hot tub was amazing, and the indoor wood stove was incredible as well. The house is clean, well stocked, and has several yard games and board games/cards. Tony’s communication was great and he checked in on us a couple times via text. It is very close to the state park and other trailheads, and about 20 minutes to the town. Overall, this is a great spot if you want to relax, hike, and explore the surround area and towns.

You have a huge group going . It was just my husband and I so we had more than enough room for our fur babies and us. Hot tub was clean and place was spotless and smelled good when walking in. Tony was a great host and let us check in a hour early & check out 30 min late with no problems (cool dude !)Only thing is we couldn’t find the ac so it was really hot at night although there was a fan in the room it didn’t do much but that’s just little things. The stream nearby was so clean and pretty I really enjoyed this place over all & I would definitely book again. 5/5 for us !

What a peaceful, private nook in a beautiful area! Berkeley Springs was a great town to visit with small shops, the hot tub was definitely a nice place to be, and the house was spotless clean! Plenty of linens, towels and necessities. We had no issues and Tony was a great host. My girlfriend and I recommended this place!

We had a great time! The location was honestly farther away from Berkeley Springs than we expected, but it didn’t matter to us because we spent so much time at the house! Was really great to get away for a weekend. It got a little cold, but the heating quickly made us super comfy! Thanks again!

We’ve enjoyed our stayed there ,it was sooooo peaceful. That’s what we’ve enjoyed the most. The dogs had tons of fun, and we saw fox, deers, Turkey, and bear. The jacuzzi was a hit, we were far away enough from the town and people but close enough to hit any restaurants or groceries.

The hot tub is the place to be at sun set!
Tony’s place was the perfect getaway for me and my business partner. Because of the location and set up of the home, we were able to fit in some work and play. We hit the trails at the local Cacapon State Park, had a nice dinner/drink at the Canary Grill, and hopped around the cute shops in town. The home itself was just what we needed with the wood stove and hot tub! WiFi and cell service both worked just fine. Tony was helpful and responsive. Great experience! Thanks Tony!

My fiancée and i had such a great cozy get a way. We loved it so much, we can’t wait to go back again. Highly recommend buying wood and groceries before getting to the house. Check out Charlotte Cafe, all the shops in town & the naked olive. Everyone was so nice and it just felt like a new world. We will definitely will be back in one of Tony & Blue Maple’s houses. ♥️

The purpose was to get in some r&r after the busy holiday season, and that is what we got! The hot tub was wonderful and we loved the lighting that was set up outside, it was like a peaceful oasis in the woods. If you stay in the winter months bring some extra firewood it gets a little chilly inside the cabin. The beds & pillows are comfy (I think the 1 bed is a full, though). It was VERY clean too. There was plenty of kitchenware if you want to cook in, if not, its about a 20 minute drive to town where the restaurants are. If you like seafood... I suggest Jimmy Joys, Saturday nights is ayce crab legs.

we were visiting Shenendoah National Park. This was home base for us. Tony had clear instructions on how to find the place and get inside. We didn't have any need for additional help, but it seems as though Tony would have been right there with an answer. We especially liked the hot tub after long days. If we were in the area again this home would be a strong contender for a repeat stay.

Lovely little spot in the woods. Would recommend getting there during daylight hours because the signage is minimal and there are many private roads in the neighborhood! Most things to do are about 20m away via care, so be sure to shop for supplies before arriving. Otherwise, beds were quite comfortable, hot tub was awesome, and it was very secluded!

Great stay on a quiet cabin on an old homestead—if you’re here in the summer or fall you might be able to pick some apples or peaches! Very private, very peaceful, and very relaxing. The sun room especially made an entrancing affect when all the bright, white, translucent curtains were shut—the effect gave that room a feeling like one was floating among the clouds. Great cabin, great design, great location. Thank you, Tony!

The location was beautiful and the cabin was just as expected. Our only hiccup was the number of bugs. It’s highly expected in the mountains, and we understood that. However, we did see what we thought to be a cockroach on the first night, which through us off. Otherwise, the place was great and after that first night we didn’t see it again!

Location was great. Cacapon state park and Berkeley springs less than 20 mins away. Close to great restaurants! Would highly recommend the sandwiches at Tony’s butcher block!! Outdoor area was nice and surrounded by trees. Would recommend!

I had an amazing time bringing in my girlfriend's birthday it was very accommodating and I slept just like it was my bed at home! The hot tub was such a nice touch to The outdoor experience and the privacy of the landscape was everything I needed to feel for a getaway from the city life. I would highly recommend this place for you and your family because you can cook dinner every night and not have to leave.

Nice place to get away as a couple. The Hot tub is next to the house and still offers a view. It was winter so not many other people at near by homes.
Interior of house had basic features. There are only 3 wall space heaters so it can be chilly even if you turn them up. The wood stove is nice but burns wood quickly due to a broken dampener.
Listing states there are 2 tvs but only has one down stairs by wood stove. So if you bring guests keep that in mind. Shower is also very small. Another thing to consider when bringing a family.
Overall nice experience at this place.

We had a great time. While the cabin needs some updating it is still a wonderful stay. We particularly loved the hot tub. The cabin is remote and a great place to feel disconnected but close to Berkeley Springs if you want something to do.

We had a great time at the cabin. It is located in a secluded, rural part of WV, however Berkeley Springs is just 25 mins away and full of friendly coffee shops, antique stores and grocery stores. Tony was super communicative as a host and quickly answered questions.
We enjoyed the hot tub, the grill and the wooden firestove. Our dog had a great time running around the grounds.
Highly recommended!
There is a shooting range nearby and the gunshots freaked out our dog (just in case you have anxious doggies)

We love this place, nice clean and homey. The location is beautiful and enjoyed the hot tub in the mornings and evenings. The wood stove inside was a nice feature and used it every evening. It was a great place to stay. It is in the middle of no where like I wanted. Definitely not as much to do in November, definitely Would have more during summer times. I got everything I wanted in the trip tho. The creek is cute and so is the cabin. Definitely clean and accommodating hosts

Overall cabin is ok, location was good. The host communicated poorly, and my concerns about the unreliable WiFi, broken coffeemaker, and AC went unaddressed. The coffeemaker was broken, forcing me to make coffee in a pot, and the cabin was quite hot for a couple of days with only a small AC unit to cool the space. I was surprised to see no action from the host besides that they would look into it. The cabin is old and needs some needed upgrades, like a fresh coat of paint, new flooring. The place didn’t match the pictures entirely, a TV was missing from one of the rooms and furniture was arranged differently. The lighting was harsh, softer lighting would make the place more inviting. The water in the hot tub was dirty if you look at the foam. The host needs to dedicate more time to this cabin, it’s not worth what they charge in this condition.

This is a secluded and charming little cabin. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out but also enjoy each other’s company. The hot tub was awesome and we appreciated the thorough handbook which included directions to the creek nearby. Berkeley Springs is not far away if you are looking for something to do. My husband enjoyed fishing at Cacapon State Park nearby.

This is a lovely, private getaway in a beautiful area. The space itself is spacious, and amenities are as described. There is a lovely creek nearby, and the area is quiet and serene. Tony is an incredibly responsive and proactive host.
The space could use a little TLC to take care of some of the usual wear and tear of a rental property. There was nothing too crazy, but one of the couches was stained pretty badly and several things throughout had just been worn to the point where they probably needed to be replaced.
Overall a lovely little place in a peaceful area, perfect for a weekend getaway!

Tony's cabin was a great beautiful, quiet spot for a quick rainy get-away! We loved the hot-tub, big windows in the living room and box of games. The house was comfortable and relatively clean though a bit more rough around the edges than it looks in the pictures. Tony was a proactive host and I imagine would have been very responsive if anything came up (but thankfully it didn't!)

We had a wonderful stay at Hillside Hideaway! Tony was a great host and exceptional communicator, from start to finish. Upon arrival, we found the cabin lit, smelling great, and welcoming after a long day and the late night drive. There was one small hiccup about the TVs, but Tony again responded about the issue very quickly, despite there not really being a solution.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had the perfect amount of space for the two of us. There was enough room for us to either cozy up in the same space or branch off into our favorite spots for some solo relaxation. Small note to future guests: the shower stall is quite small with a very high shower head that can't really be shifted or redirected. We found that reducing the water pressure by not turning the shower fully on helped somewhat, but we think this would've been difficult for kids.
We absolutely loved this location and host and look forward to checking out other listings or coming back here in the future!

The place looked just like the listing! I ended up not having any problems with cell phone reception (with Verizon) so that was a nice surprise. I didn’t have to use the wifi at all. The host was helpful and prompt at texting back. The place was clean and so was the hot tub. It was a nice and peaceful, private stay.

The location was absolutely beautiful! A great place to disconnect with my family. The cabin had everything we needed and some. The hot tub is wonderful in the evening. Our only critique is that the cabin needs a little maintenance. The toilet broke right upon our arrival and there were some broken blinds, but the host was responsive. Overall I would 100% stay again.

If you are looking for a place that’s totally free of other people surrounded by peace and quiet- this is your place! The whole weekend we didn’t see a single car drive on the road, a total escape from the city.
Our two dogs loved the land and ability to run around but come inside and cool off inside while we relaxed by the fire or in the hot tub.
Could not recommend this property enough! Tony checked in throughout the weekend.

Tony's cabin was great for our weekend getaway. The cabin itself is perfect for a family or two couples, there is a very nice sun room and a living room, then two bedrooms and an open first floor with a kitchen and dining room. The property itself is very secluded and you can barely see the neighbor's house at this time of year. We saw over two dozen deer on the property, the hot tub was amazing, and the indoor wood stove was incredible as well. The house is clean, well stocked, and has several yard games and board games/cards. Tony's communication was great and he checked in on us a couple times via text. It is very close to the state park and other trailheads, and about 20 minutes to the town. Overall, this is a great spot if you want to relax, hike, and explore the surround area and towns.

You have a huge group going . It was just my husband and I so we had more than enough room for our fur babies and us. Hot tub was clean and place was spotless and smelled good when walking in. Tony was a great host and let us check in a hour early & check out 30 min late with no problems (cool dude !)Only thing is we couldn’t find the ac so it was really hot at night although there was a fan in the room it didn’t do much but that’s just little things. The stream nearby was so clean and pretty I really enjoyed this place over all & I would definitely book again. 5/5 for us !

What a peaceful, private nook in a beautiful area! Berkeley Springs was a great town to visit with small shops, the hot tub was definitely a nice place to be, and the house was spotless clean! Plenty of linens, towels and necessities. We had no issues and Tony was a great host. My girlfriend and I recommended this place!

We’ve enjoyed our stayed there ,it was sooooo peaceful. That’s what we’ve enjoyed the most. The dogs had tons of fun, and we saw fox, deers, Turkey, and bear. The jacuzzi was a hit, we were far away enough from the town and people but close enough to hit any restaurants or groceries.

Tony’s place was the perfect getaway for me and my business partner. Because of the location and set up of the home, we were able to fit in some work and play. We hit the trails at the local Cacapon State Park, had a nice dinner/drink at the Canary Grill, and hopped around the cute shops in town. The home itself was just what we needed with the wood stove and hot tub! WiFi and cell service both worked just fine. Tony was helpful and responsive. Great experience! Thanks Tony!
