My siblings and I stayed here for a few days to ring in the New Year. It was perfect for the 5 of us. Beautiful, peaceful location. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and lived exploring Berkeley Springs.

The cottage was perfect and exactly as pictured. Close to amazing hikes and Shenandoah Park. Our dog especially enjoyed the large fenced in backyard. Tony was extremely communicative and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for such a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tony's place! This cabin is in a great location, well-appointed, clean and has everything you need for a relaxing get away -- the hot tub and having our dogs with us were the high points for us! Tony was incredibly responsive, nice and helpful and we had fun exploring Berkeley Springs, WV.

This was such a fun place to stay! The ping-pong table was great on a rainy day when we couldn't hike, and the hot tub at night was wonderful. It's a beautiful little house hidden amongst the woods. Tony was a wonderful host--reached out several times to see if we had questions.

We had a great stay. The bed was really quite comfy, the sheets and comforter were SO soft. There was already coffee and filters there for us to use, which was nice. The shower already had full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to use too, which was also very convenient. The only real complaint was that we couldn’t use the hot tub the first night because it was still only at 79 degrees by that night, and took until morning to get to 100 degrees, which was something we were really looking forward to. And as silly as it sounds, there was also no pizza pan, we had a lazy night and brought back a pizza to bake and had to improvise without a pan, but it worked out. It was nice to sit out in the hot tub the last couple of nights even while it was raining with the cover over the tub. We would definitely visit again! Host was SO great and SO responsive, probably one of the best we’ve ever had the pleasure of booking with.

My family and I really enjoyed our peaceful stay at Tony's cabin. It's a great location to escape to for a while.

Very clean and cozy cabin with comfy beds and a great wood burning stove for cold nights. We really enjoyed our stay here for a second Christmas with family and skiing at Bryce.

Really cute and clean place with a nice hot tub. Very isolated. Unfortunately we went in the middle of an extreme winter temperature (below 0 F) and the heating system is not strong enough to withstand such temperature drops. The bedroom heating worked well, everywhere else in the house was pretty cold.

I appreciate Tony allowing us to stay in his home. The home was nice and big enough for my family.
We will definitely try to book this home again on our next WV trip.

Exactly like the photos, this cabin was surrounded by beautiful views. Inside the cabin were the most thoughtful touches to make you feel at home. My favorite was the Bluetooth speaker of wonderful quality. I listened to music and gazed out the window for days. I cannot overstate how peaceful it was to be there! Also, the kitchen had everything I needed and more. (The mugs are gorgeous!) Highly recommend.

Had such an amazing break away from it all! 100% recommend.

The good: Solid place, quiet and relaxing. Hot tub was great once it came up to temperature. Always love a fireplace. Stove & barbeque functioned well and there were plenty of pots, pans and utensils, everything you needed to have a full meal. There's decent hiking close-by and you can take a 20 minute walk down to the Shenandoah river from the house.

The not as good: It took 30+ hours for the hot tub to get up to temperature. This was likely due to the fact that it was so cold outside(Below 20 degrees F). So probably not the norm, but if you have a shorter stay in cold temps you may not to get to use the tub (it's best to turn it on right away regardless)

This was the first airbnb that I have ever stayed at so from the beginning I was skeptical but hopeful. While maps did provide confusing directions I was able to reference the house manual provided and followed that instead. Upon arrival we were able to once again reference the detailed house manual for an easy lockbox entry. The cabin was beautiful, well-maintained, and very clean. The only issue we had was with the water being frozen in the pipes upon first arrival (no blame to the owner but instead to the 2 degree Fahrenheit weather) but then we contacted Tony and he immediately sent someone to take care of it and we had running water. Overall a nice cabin for my husband and I to stay at. Should we ever find ourselves back in West Virginia we may visit again, maybe the spring next time though. :)

Wonderful getaway!

Great peaceful and private modern mountain cabin stay.

We (and our pup) had a fabulous and restful time. We cooked all our meals here, wifi was super fast, lots of spices, everything was extremely clean, and the host was very responsive. No AT&T/T-mobile cell service but that was fine :-) since we had internet.

Only item to note is that the driveway is gravel and steep - we arrived after an ice storm and it took a few tries for a 2004 mom-sedan with 225K miles to make it up the hill - but 90% of the year you should be fine and the other 10% bring an all-wheel drive car for winter weather.

All in all a great getaway - we went hiking nearby and enjoyed the wildlife and serenity and are thankful we got to stay here! Definitely recommend.

Harpers Ferry is beautiful and the location of Tony’s home was perfect: lovely views and an easy walk to shops, restaurants, hikes and all of the historic sights… and I loved hearing all the trains go by!
I appreciated the overall aesthetic and coziness of the house - with its comfy beds, well-appointed kitchen, and the thoughtful consideration to basic necessities that were provided (sugar, creamers, basic spices, food wrap, paper products, etc).
It was a great place to relax from the holidays and Tony was a thoughtful, accessible, host!

Cute place. Very Clean. Amazing view of the valley below. Tony the host was very communicative and provided a website with a welcome packet prior to our stay which was nice. The kitchen was small but well stocked with the tools needed. We cooked several meals while staying there. The hot tub was out of service during our stay (which we knew about ahead of time) but other than that everything worked great. Location was very convenient to Cacapon State Park (8-10 min drive) with some great hiking trails and more during the summer months. Bottoms line - I’d recommend for a few days with a small family.

Loved this little cabin! It was super clean. It's nice that the heaters and water in the house get super hot! After taking a long shower the hot water ran out, but was replenished within the hour. The hot tub was a green tint, but smelled clean and was very relaxing. The road to get there was steep and gravely, but we made it through safely. Bonus outdoor cat was the icing on the cake! The kitchen and decor were really nice. It was the perfect winter get away!
