Me and my wife stay at Tony’s 3 night 3 days. It was beautiful. The Hot tub was amazing only problem is you need two people to take the hot tub cover off and on it was a little difficult to do it by myself. The place was nice, neat and clean. Definitely would be nice to get the house hvac repaired. Because the portable and the 2 window units made a lot of noise. The outside storm doors should have some kind of lock on them would have felt safer. The screen in porch. was great. That is where my wife mostly hanged out at LOL. Most overall, the place was not bad to stay.

The freezer wasn’t clean. So we didn’t use it. There was an oder in the freezer. And a q tip was on the bathroom floor. But other than that, it was perfect!

A wonderful spot for a brief or longer vacation. We had only a couple of days but still managed to fully relax and unwind. Quiet, peaceful, fresh air, hot tub, screened porch, balcony overlooking the forest with gas grill. This place has everything! And hiking, swimming, etc. are very nearby, as is the very pleasant town of Berkeley Springs, with lots to do and nice restaurants. Overall a real gem!

After a busy weekend, we had a peaceful relaxing evening. The hot tub was a wonderful spot to unwind and watch the stars and lightning bugs. In the morning, the screened porch was the perfect spot to enjoy our coffee and listen to the birds, especially our cardinal friend that said hello several times. Beautiful home and location – private, wooded and serene. I wish we could have stayed longer.

What a beautiful and unique home! We love all the light and windows in the cabin it felt immersed in nature and similar to Frank Lloyd Wright homes! The screened in porch was our favorite just listening to the birds in the morn and evenings. The master bed is very comfy! Shower is nice as well. Great place for a couples getaway!

Perfect setting for a quiet relaxing week/weekend. Listening to the birds chirping from the screened in porch was amazing. Hot tub was perfect to chill out in at night. Very close to the mineral springs and Cacapon state park.
The cabin was much roomier inside than we thought.
We definitely recommend Happy Valley to anyone looking to escape reality for a while.

Cute little place! Felt so cozy tightly surrounded by the woods. We loved having coffee on the screened in porch and stargazing from the hot tub. Easy to find, easy to get in and out of town for food and things to do. A personal drawback for us that might not bother others was the very frequent corporate-feeling messaging, almost definitely using AI-generated messages.

Perfect place for a getaway! House was beautiful inside and out! Kitchen was extremely well stocked (better than any other Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at). The hot tub was clean and the nicest one we’ve been in. The inside was beautiful and a great layout. The sitting room was so peaceful especially at night! The cabin was absolutely lovely, I cannot recommend Tony enough if you’re looking to stay in the area! His properties have fantastic amenities and beautiful locations. This was my second stay, and it was just as excellent as the first. Communication is absolutely top notch, and everything from booking to directions is easy and stress free. Planning a trip back in the fall, and we know exactly who we will be staying with again!

I have been visiting and renting in the Berkeley Springs area for 15 years and recently started to use Tony and Blue Maple in the last year. The quality for dog friendly is clearly a cut above and I have not been disappointed spending the money. It has everything you want and need. Blue Maple is top when it comes to cabin rentals in the area.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay here, and the space was what I hoped for. Everything was clean and well maintained, the linens were fresh, and the hot tub was pristine and a wonderful way to unwind. The host was extremely communicative, and the check‑in process was simple with clear, straightforward instructions. We did experience the same couch issue mentioned in previous reviews, but it wasn’t a major problem. The only thing I had hoped for was a bit more room on the property for my dog to explore, as the back area was the only real space available for her to roam. Even so, the stay was lovely overall.

I visited this home for a girlfriends getaway and brought my dog. I’m always grateful to owners who allow dogs! The hot tub was clean and roomy, and we used it multiple times a day, loving the privacy of its location. We even saw two shooting stars from the hot tub. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. I also appreciate that the home was free of clutter. There’s a lot of room in this home! We definitely recommend!

Host messaged back extremely fast, he was able to get us in an booked in a last minute desire. Any questions I had they promptly answered within a couple minutes. They also checked in with us through out our stay and reassured if we needed anything to reach out. This place was private and BEAUTIFUL! The hot tub was a must in our booking and it was super big very hot and the jets was great. Seriously was the nicest hot tub I’ve been in! Beds was super comfy as well as the couch this place fit all our needs plus some id definitely stay again if we’re in the area very good people place and price! We did ask to check out at 1pm instead of 10am due to driving back home 6 hours after and wanted alittle extra sleep they responded quickly and let us know they can’t accommodate on short notice as they have people coming to clean to leave ample time for the next guests we understood! But over all 10000/10!

We had a great stay at Happy Valley Circle. Check in was easy, the host was extremely responsive and proactively reached out. It was private as promised and the back porch with the hot tub was peaceful. We would love to come back in the spring when the trees are full.

We had a great stay. I love how private the patio with the hot tub is and how quiet the street is. Hillbilly Haven is so much more friendly and inviting than it looks from the outside with great food. Charlotte’s is obsiously a local favorite with most people seeming to know each other by name. I recommend the crabby grilled cheese but I’m still sad I didn’t try the banana bread french toast. Proof on Washington is pricey but worth every penny.
Added bonus to the cabin is Charlie, the cardinal. He is extraordinary stupid but incredibly charming.
This might be silly to bring up but I was struck by how clean and fresh the linens /towels were. The kitchen was stocked well. Be warned, it is a traditional coffee pot so don’t bring pods with you like I did. I would absolutely come back again! I’m thinking maybe fall.

So happy this cabin was paved for our trip a couple weeks ago! The snow was gorgeous and being inside the cozy cabin was so fun! They had games that we could play and the TV streaming sites were all signed in which was great! The hot tub was roomy and very hot. The place was quite clean. It’s a quick drive into town!

I had a really good time at this place. It was very peaceful. Tony was really responsive and flexible with me wanting to check in early and check out late. The hot tub was really clean, we really enjoyed that. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. I would say they need to in some flat plates coz some things are not really that great to have in little bowl plates. And the heat was not really getting to the main bedroom. It was mainly in the living room by the couch. Other than those, it was a really nice getaway. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

This is not the first time renting one of Tony’s properties and it won’t be the last. OF the cabins I have checked out, this is one of my favorites! It is close to town, but offers plenty of privacy. As someone who likes to cook on vacation, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and was fun to put to use. Tony is incredible responsive and a super friendly host. I will definitely revisit this property next time I am spending time in Berkeley Springs.

We had a secluded Thanksgiving get away- and the property made all the difference. The fireplace was just perfect and kept the house toasty as the temps dropped to 30 degrees. We will never forget the feeling of sitting in a jacuzzi while watching a light snow flurry around us. Tony was communicative and provided excellent instructions! A sweet rural get away only mins from town.

Tony’s Airbnb was spotless and located in a beautiful, peaceful area. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The only thing I wish I had known beforehand is that many nearby restaurants and shops close Monday through Wednesday, which limits dining and shopping options early in the week. Also, if you need a late checkout, be sure to request it well in advance, as 24-hour notice isn’t always possible and can be a delay in response. Overall, a lovely stay!

Tolle ruhige Unterkunft. Schöne Einrichtung mit tollen Betten und Bettwäsche. Sehr privat und ruhig. Sauberer und geheizter Whirlpool. Viele Handtücher im Haus. Auch extra Handtücher für den Pool.
Sehr sehr gute Küchenausstattung. Grill funktioniert einwandfrei.
Die Duschwand im Badezimmer war nicht sehr sauber. Rosa Verschmutzung durch Duschseife überall. Das war der einzige Mangel den wir feststellen konnten. Trockner trocknet nur kalt. Kaputt?
Ansonsten bezaubernd. Wir bedauerten das wir nur so kurz bleiben konnten.

Great place to escape and unwind. Very quiet and beautiful spot in the woods. From the house, you can only see the neighbor across the street. Loved the peaceful screened porch, great hot tub, and deck with gas grill and table to eat outside. The living room couch has seen better days, but other than that the inside was nice and comfortable. There’s a neighborhood bear that likes to knock over the garbage can and drag the garbage bags up the hill to eat. The place is also very close to local amenities, including a brewery and winery just a few minutes a way. Would definitely stay there again.

This was such a great experience and I absolutely loved our booking!
I really loved the layout of this house and always opt for a screened in porch when I can. It was a nice, peaceful area to hang out.
The hot tub was probably one of the best hot tubs that I have had at any Airbnb. It was clean and perfect for relaxing after running around all day.
The beds were comfortable and everything was perfect.
Tony was a great host and was very friendly and reached out to us for anything that we needed or any questions that I had.
We really enjoyed how private and peaceful this lot was and will definitely be back again.

Our stay was the perfect location to visit our family. I chose the place based on location and it ended up being so much more than that. Great space so the family could spread out in the evenings and have room to unwind. We watched firefly’s from the hot tub, had coffee chats in the morning on the patio amongst the trees and were able to keep cool inside with well working air conditioning which was a major plus in the middle of summer.

The cabin was very clean, and in a wooded setting on the mountain side. Before we had arrived somebody had set the trash can at the bottom of the driveway. The next afternoon we heard a loud bang and found a bear in the trash can, we watched the bear for a 1/2 hour as he went through the trash. Only problem was he didn’t clean up the mess he made in the road. There was an issue with the shower in the one bathroom, water drizzled out of the shower head, I contacted Tony and he was quick to respond, indicating he would contact a handyman. If the handyman came, I don’t think he did much to fix the problem. Even with the shower issue, I would rent this cabin again.

Cozy cabin in the woods. Hot tub was wonderful. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked. Master bedroom is large and spacious, second bedroom is smaller. Shower was not working properly in the second bathroom but was reported so hopefully will be fixed soon. Screen porch was nice for relaxing.
About 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs or Cacapon resort. Had a lovely dinner at Lot 12 restaurant in Berkeley Springs- expensive, but worth it! Also recommend Atasia Spa.

An absolute 10/10. My girlfriend and I went for our 3rd anniversary, and it could not have been a better find. Beautiful area and a beautiful cabin, with almost complete privacy. We did not use the wood-burner (middle of July) but even without using it the burner is a beautiful addition to the open living area. Tony and the Blue Maple team were very responsive and checked in night-one to ensure everything went smoothly, and gave additional recommendations (for our 3 year dinner) on top of what is already provided in the house manual. The morning we were to leave was trash-day; I had put the trashcan by the curb, but right before leaving for our anniversary dinner we noticed an animal had knocked it over and dragged trash all the way up the side of the driveway. We made sure to send a text and leave a voicemail wondering if it was something we could help take care of, but the team answered within minutes and assigned a handyman to the job! Would love to go again in the future!

I always enjoy staying at Tony’s properties. This is one of my faves. Secluded and lots of nature surrounding you. If you’re an early riser you can always catch cardinals and other birds around the property. Very peaceful and the hot tub is always a bonus. Kitchen has everything you need to make a homemade meal or pop something in the oven or microwave. WiFi is strong and cell service is great. 100% would recommend.

The only downside I will give this place is that it was a little bit on the pricier side, compared to other places in the area. Tony’s responsiveness however makes up for that!

Tony’s cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was cozy and relaxing, and we felt right at home immediately. It was hard to motivate to leave the peaceful cabin, but when we did it was only a short drive to town. Kitchen was nicely stocked with pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc., so we enjoyed making some simple meals in the cabin. Relaxing after our hikes in the outdoor hot tub was a treat each evening. Highly recommend this place – we certainly hope to return!

We absolutely loved our stay!! The cabin was exactly as described and the location can’t be beat. It’s less than a 5 minute drive from a winery (which was beautiful!) and brewery. Less than a 10 min drive from downtown. Less than a 5 minute drive from a lookout point. A 10-15 minute drive to Cacapon. My husband and I couldn’t be happier! Super clean, had everything you need especially in the kitchen! We needed a peaceful getaway from all the busy and this was perfect. Being dog friendly made it even better and our pups enjoyed it very much! The screened in porch was my fave and theirs as well. We sat out there every day and every night until late just reading/playing cards and listening to nature. The hot tub was the perfect place to sit back and look at the stars. Downtown area is so cute with the best shops and restaurants. Tony is such a wonderful host we will 100% be back!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to unplug for the weekend and this place was just perfect. It sits off a dirt road, we saw one car drive by the whole weekend. The place is pretty secluded. You can see one other house from the property but we did not really see any other people. The place was very clean and comfortable. The screened in porch was just perfect for sitting out and being with nature. The hot tub was also perfect for extra relaxation. Tony is an incredible host. He was very responsive and made sure everything was to our liking. Highly recommend!

Went for a getaway to unplug and reset. It was the prefect spot. Peaceful and quiet, listening to the water and all the birds. The screened in porch was amazing to enjoy morning coffee. The only problem that I had with this house is the photos are inaccurate. There is no yard. I stayed here because it had a yard where I could walk my dog. The backyard in the photos was from a different year. It is all over grown woods and difficult to walk in. The photos should be updated on this property because I didn’t have a place to let my dog out.

We loved staying at Tony’s cabin in Berkeley Springs! It was peaceful and remote. Yes, other cabins are in sight, but over four days we saw one person with their dog walk down the road. Not a single car drove by. It’s a great spot to escape for some quiet and solitude. Our dog agrees. 🙂

We booked this stay as a quick birthday getaway. It was peaceful and relaxing. The stargazing from the hot tub was spectacular. There is a cute babbling brook by the driveway that offers a very pleasant sound effects. If you enjoy hiking and the outdoors, the area is perfect. Berkley Springs is a wonderful hidden gem. We will be back.

I decided to surprise my husband with a New years getaway we definitely needed a break from our hectic lives. It was such a blessing to be able to bring in the new year in such a beautiful cabin. Went to the antique store on 522 and found a beautiful pair of 1970s diamond earrings at an amazing price. New Year’s Day it was so magical, it snowed all afternoon. We had the fireplace rumbling we went and got a pizza from Fox’s pizza which was pretty good. We took a dip in the Jacuzzi as it was snowing, that was awesome. We napped while hearing the fire crackling was so soothing. Tony’s cabin is very peaceful, very private it was just a picture perfect week. We did four nights five days I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I look forward to escaping again while using another one of Tony‘s fabulous cabins, he’s an excellent host. We never needed for anything, all of my expectations were definitely met. Thank you again. Also being able to bring my fur baby was such a blessing.

Great quiet escape from the city- spot is relaxing, comfortable, & furnished with everything you could need. Three nights at this cabin was rejuvenating and exactly what we had hoped for. What a great place for a two night recharge! Hot tub was the best we have had in an Airbnb for quite some time, and extra blankets were easy to find when it was surprisingly colder outside than we expected! Would absolutely stay again!

Although this place was very clean and honestly a very good setup, there were only a few things keeping it from being Five star. Let me start by saying people have a strange idea of seclusion. This place is not in the open but there is a neighbor across the road clearly visible from the screened porch and front porch. They have a loud, large, non socialized dog (neighbor yelled while trying to control it) this isn’t Tony’s fault. There are also neighbors up the road who can see in the house via see through blinds. They can also see onto the back deck with hot tub in view. At night the whole kitchen living room is on display for the neighbors. One drawback is zero grass for your dog to do his business on. So be prepared to walk the dark lane with your pup. When I think secluded I think no one can see you from road or through trees. Also all the constant text warnings/instructions caused more stress then being helpful (you end up worrying more about fees then relaxing).

This was a spontaneous 2 day getaway for us. We were looking for a cabin that’s peaceful, secluded, quiet, and with a hot tub. It was perfect for us. We loved the screened in deck with lights and ceiling fan. If you like cooking, the kitchen has everything you need. Everything was clean. I can see ourselves booking this cabin again sometime. Tony checked in with us every day with a text to make sure everything was ok. Perfect getaway for us.

The Happy Valley Retreat has become one of our favorite spots to relax. The house is clean and comfortable, and Tony is such a warm and welcoming host, who communicated well through the entire process. He was a wealth of suggestions in the area. The house is thoughfully laid out and the kitchen offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

We booked Tony’s place last minute for a girls weekend and drove all the way down from Philly to escape the city. We wanted to feel immersed in nature and Tony’s house definitely provided! The house was easy to find at night, and check in was super easy. We were very impressed with how clean the kitchen was and stocked with all kinds of dishes and utensils. All the furniture was so comfortable. The beds especially! We woke up to the sound of frogs, wild birds, woodpeckers, possibly a donkey and a couple of roosters which was fun! The hot tub was impeccably clean and so relaxing. We went for a walk down the road admiring nature and sat outside the whole day just impressed by the surrounding beauty. On our last morning, we woke up to a red cardinal tapping at the bedroom windows, as if he was our alarm clock! So fun! We loved it there so much we didn’t leave the house until the day we checked out and explored the friendly town of Berkeley springs. We would definitely come back!!!

Great place to stay! We very much enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. We were all very relaxed at the house, dogs included. The screened in porch was great and we loved the hot tub. We enjoyed that nightly while star gazing. We are definitely keeping this property into consideration to visit again. The location is great, secluded in the woods but also close enough to “downtown” Berkley Springs to grab a bite to eat. We enjoyed Charlotte’s Cafe, Canary Grill, Berkley Springs Brewery, and hiking and swimming at Cacapon State Park.

Lovely cabin meticulously maintained, highlight was the hot tub on the back deck and the grill/table on the front deck, surrounded by trees. In addition there is a comfortable sitting room area and screened porch too. Everything is organized, labeled, communicated. We chose this as a half-way point between two couples that wanted some face-to-face time as colleagues in the same organization, so it was partly work but in a relaxing atmosphere, which this was perfect for. Great internet, plenty of spaces to meet and work, and very much removed from the rest of life, with pleasant relaxing/friendship time too. Wooded and quiet. The rules look a little overwhelming but they are mostly just common courtesy types of “rules” so I’m guessing they get some rowdy or careless guests and are trying to keep this space nice for their own family? So far so good!

My husband and I were looking for a last minute getaway for his birthday. We came across this place and figured we’d give it a shot. We booked it a few days before and I received the house manual, instructions etc the day before. I appreciated everything was clearly laid out, and Tony was extremely helpful. We had two small hiccups, one with the smoke detectors beeping, and we had to take the batteries out, and nest down to charge it all weekend; and the other was upon arrival it was 59 degrees inside. We didn’t realize the thermostat wasn’t going to heat the place at all, and we should have bought firewood for that first night. TO BE CLEAR, Tony’s manual did suggest we get firewood. That hiccup was on us, not him. Just letting everyone know, the thermostat is a “backup,” and you rely on the wood stove for heat if needed. Aside from that, Tony checked in on us each day and offered to make recs if needed. We would stay again if we decide to go back to this area to stay. Dog friendly!

This place was just beautiful. While there were a few houses nearby, it felt like it was totally secluded. Everything was clean and just as described. There were even some additional bonuses like some beer and juice in the fridge and a plate of candy on the counter.
I am mobility impaired, but had an easy time getting around the house. The back porch was directly a walk-out. The main (side) entrance had a small flight of stairs, but had a good hand railing and it was just a couple steps.
The hot tub was lovely and a nice attraction for us. We planned on doing some things nearby, but the seclusion was great and it was an easy drive into town.
There were only two small hiccups in our stay. We had some trouble with the lockbox code, but the owner was very responsive and it was a minor inconvenience. Also, there is a very territorial Cardinal (bird) that enjoyed whacking into the windows in the morning (a bit early for my taste).
A wonderful trip and magnificent property!

Beautiful cabin and well appointed! Everything you need to feel right at home! Tony is an A+++ host! He checks in often and is very responsive and helpful! I was concerned about WiFi and cell service and Tony assured me that the WiFi is excellent! He was right! I also use Verizon as my carrier and had great cell reception the whole stay. Also, the WiFi was just like my high speed internet at home!
The cabin was extremely clean and beautifully furnished without feeling cluttered! You could “smell” the clean without the chemical smell. Complimentary Teas and coffee were provided so I enjoyed many cups of green tea while soaking in the hot tub in the evenings and mornings. The beds and furniture were super comfortable!
I didn’t venture out during my stay but Tony gives many wonderful suggestions on places to go and were to eat and shop during your stay! I feel refreshed after two wonderful days and will definitely choose this or any other property hosted by Tony in the future!

We went last minute for a one night getaway from DC to Tony’s place – one couple and our dog. It was a good space for just the three of us and if the weather was a bit warmer, we would
have used even more of it. (ie: deck, screen porch)
The town is about a 10 min drive away from the neighborhood and is quite charming. Tony is super responsive and has a thorough guidebook for all his properties which is really helpful.
The hot tub is huge/really clean and was a real plus staying there once we got it going. The fireplace was also great (bring wood!) and master bed comfortable.

The cabin is perfectly nestled in the woods and is incredibly cozy. The screened in porch is a wonderful refuge from the bugs in the evening, and the hot tub was great for soaking any time! Me and my wife stay at Tony's 3 night 3 days. It was beautiful. The Hot tub was amazing only problem is you need two people to take the hot tub cover off and on it was a little difficult to do it by myself. The place was nice, neat and clean. Definitely would be nice to get the house hvac repaired. Because the portable and the 2 window units made a lot of noise. The outside storm doors should have some kind of lock on them would have felt safer. The screen in porch. was great. That is where my wife mostly hanged out at LOL. Most overall, the place was not bad to stay.

A wonderful spot for a brief or longer vacation. We had only a couple of days but still managed to fully relax and unwind. Quiet, peaceful, fresh air, hot tub, screened porch, balcony overlooking the forest with gas grill. This place has everything! And hiking, swimming, etc. are very nearby, as is the very pleasant town of Berkeley Springs, with lots to do and nice restaurants. Overall a real gem!

In the morning, the screened porch was the perfect spot to enjoy our coffee and listen to the birds, especially our cardinal friend that said hello several times. What a beautiful and unique home! We love all the light and windows in the cabin it felt immersed in nature and similar to Frank Lloyd Wright homes! The screened in porch was our favorite just listening to the birds in the morn and evenings. The master bed is very comfy! Shower is nice as well. Great place for a couples getaway!

Perfect setting for a quiet relaxing week/weekend. Listening to the birds chirping from the screened in porch was amazing. Hot tub was perfect to chill out in at night. Very close to the mineral springs and Cacapon state park.
The cabin was much roomier inside than we thought.
We definitely recommend Happy Valley to anyone looking to escape reality for a while.

Cute little place! Felt so cozy tightly surrounded by the woods. We loved having coffee on the screened in porch and stargazing from the hot tub. Easy to find, easy to get in and out of town for food and things to do. The cabin was absolutely lovely, I cannot recommend Tony enough if you're looking to stay in the area! His properties have fantastic amenities and beautiful locations. This was my second stay, and it was just as excellent as the first. Communication is absolutely top notch, and everything from booking to directions is easy and stress free. Planning a trip back in the fall, and we know exactly who we will be staying with again!

I have been visiting and renting in the Berkeley Springs area for 15 years and recently started to use Tony and Blue Maple in the last year. The quality for dog friendly is clearly a cut above and I have not been disappointed spending the money. It has everything you want and need. Blue Maple is top when it comes to cabin rentals in the area.

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay here, and the space was what I hoped for. Everything was clean and well maintained, the linens were fresh, and the hot tub was pristine and a wonderful way to unwind. The host was extremely communicative, and the check‑in process was simple with clear, straightforward instructions. We did experience the same couch issue mentioned in previous reviews, but it wasn’t a major problem. The only thing I had hoped for was a bit more room on the property for my dog to explore, as the back area was the only real space available for her to roam. Even so, the stay was lovely overall.

I visited this home for a girlfriends getaway and brought my dog. I'm always grateful to owners who allow dogs! The hot tub was clean and roomy, and we used it multiple times a day, loving the privacy of its location. We even saw two shooting stars from the hot tub. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable. I also appreciate that the home was free of clutter. There's a lot of room in this home! We definitely recommend!

Host messaged back extremely fast, he was able to get us in an booked in a last minute desire. Any questions I had they promptly answered within a couple minutes. They also checked in with us through out our stay and reassured if we needed anything to reach out. This place was private and BEAUTIFUL! The hot tub was a must in our booking and it was super big very hot and the jets was great. Seriously was the nicest hot tub I’ve been in! Beds was super comfy as well as the couch this place fit all our needs plus some id definitely stay again if we’re in the area very good people place and price! We did ask to check out at 1pm instead of 10am due to driving back home 6 hours after and wanted alittle extra sleep they responded quickly and let us know they can’t accommodate on short notice as they have people coming to clean to leave ample time for the next guests we understood! But over all 10000/10!

We had a great stay at Happy Valley Circle. Check in was easy, the host was extremely responsive and proactively reached out. It was private as promised and the back porch with the hot tub was peaceful. We would love to come back in the spring when the trees are full.

We had a great stay. I love how private the patio with the hot tub is and how quiet the street is. Hillbilly Haven is so much more friendly and inviting than it looks from the outside with great food. Charlotte's is obsiously a local favorite with most people seeming to know each other by name. I recommend the crabby grilled cheese but I'm still sad I didn't try the banana bread french toast. Proof on Washington is pricey but worth every penny.
Added bonus to the cabin is Charlie, the cardinal. He is extraordinary stupid but incredibly charming.
This might be silly to bring up but I was struck by how clean and fresh the linens /towels were. The kitchen was stocked well. Be warned, it is a traditional coffee pot so don't bring pods with you like I did. I would absolutely come back again! I'm thinking maybe fall.

So happy this cabin was paved for our trip a couple weeks ago! The snow was gorgeous and being inside the cozy cabin was so fun! They had games that we could play and the TV streaming sites were all signed in which was great! The hot tub was roomy and very hot. The place was quite clean. It’s a quick drive into town!

I had a really good time at this place. It was very peaceful. Tony was really responsive and flexible with me wanting to check in early and check out late. The hot tub was really clean, we really enjoyed that. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. I would say they need to in some flat plates coz some things are not really that great to have in little bowl plates. And the heat was not really getting to the main bedroom. It was mainly in the living room by the couch. Other than those, it was a really nice getaway. Would definitely book again. Thank you.

This is not the first time renting one of Tony's properties and it won't be the last. OF the cabins I have checked out, this is one of my favorites! It is close to town, but offers plenty of privacy. As someone who likes to cook on vacation, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and was fun to put to use. Tony is incredible responsive and a super friendly host. I will definitely revisit this property next time I am spending time in Berkeley Springs.

We had a secluded Thanksgiving get away- and the property made all the difference. The fireplace was just perfect and kept the house toasty as the temps dropped to 30 degrees. Tony’s Airbnb was spotless and located in a beautiful, peaceful area. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The only thing I wish I had known beforehand is that many nearby restaurants and shops close Monday through Wednesday, which limits dining and shopping options early in the week. Also, if you need a late checkout, be sure to request it well in advance, as 24-hour notice isn’t always possible and can be a delay in response. Overall, a lovely stay!

Ansonsten bezaubernd. Wir bedauerten das wir nur so kurz bleiben konnten.

Great place to escape and unwind. Very quiet and beautiful spot in the woods. From the house, you can only see the neighbor across the street. Loved the peaceful screened porch, great hot tub, and deck with gas grill and table to eat outside. The living room couch has seen better days, but other than that the inside was nice and comfortable. There's a neighborhood bear that likes to knock over the garbage can and drag the garbage bags up the hill to eat. The place is also very close to local amenities, including a brewery and winery just a few minutes a way. Would definitely stay there again.

This was such a great experience and I absolutely loved our booking!
I really loved the layout of this house and always opt for a screened in porch when I can. It was a nice, peaceful area to hang out.
The hot tub was probably one of the best hot tubs that I have had at any Airbnb. It was clean and perfect for relaxing after running around all day.
The beds were comfortable and everything was perfect.
Tony was a great host and was very friendly and reached out to us for anything that we needed or any questions that I had.

Our stay was the perfect location to visit our family. I chose the place based on location and it ended up being so much more than that. Great space so the family could spread out in the evenings and have room to unwind. We watched firefly’s from the hot tub, had coffee chats in the morning on the patio amongst the trees and were able to keep cool inside with well working air conditioning which was a major plus in the middle of summer.

The cabin was very clean, and in a wooded setting on the mountain side. Before we had arrived somebody had set the trash can at the bottom of the driveway. The next afternoon we heard a loud bang and found a bear in the trash can, we watched the bear for a 1/2 hour as he went through the trash. Only problem was he didn't clean up the mess he made in the road. There was an issue with the shower in the one bathroom, water drizzled out of the shower head, I contacted Tony and he was quick to respond, indicating he would contact a handyman. If the handyman came, I don't think he did much to fix the problem. Even with the shower issue, I would rent this cabin again.

Cozy cabin in the woods. Hot tub was wonderful. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked. Master bedroom is large and spacious, second bedroom is smaller. Shower was not working properly in the second bathroom but was reported so hopefully will be fixed soon. Screen porch was nice for relaxing.
About 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs or Cacapon resort. Had a lovely dinner at Lot 12 restaurant in Berkeley Springs- expensive, but worth it! Also recommend Atasia Spa.

An absolute 10/10. My girlfriend and I went for our 3rd anniversary, and it could not have been a better find. Beautiful area and a beautiful cabin, with almost complete privacy. We did not use the wood-burner (middle of July) but even without using it the burner is a beautiful addition to the open living area. Tony and the Blue Maple team were very responsive and checked in night-one to ensure everything went smoothly, and gave additional recommendations (for our 3 year dinner) on top of what is already provided in the house manual. The morning we were to leave was trash-day; I had put the trashcan by the curb, but right before leaving for our anniversary dinner we noticed an animal had knocked it over and dragged trash all the way up the side of the driveway. We made sure to send a text and leave a voicemail wondering if it was something we could help take care of, but the team answered within minutes and assigned a handyman to the job! Would love to go again in the future!

I always enjoy staying at Tony’s properties. This is one of my faves. Secluded and lots of nature surrounding you. If you’re an early riser you can always catch cardinals and other birds around the property. Very peaceful and the hot tub is always a bonus. Kitchen has everything you need to make a homemade meal or pop something in the oven or microwave. WiFi is strong and cell service is great. 100% would recommend.

Tony's cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was cozy and relaxing, and we felt right at home immediately. It was hard to motivate to leave the peaceful cabin, but when we did it was only a short drive to town. Kitchen was nicely stocked with pots/pans, cooking utensils, etc., so we enjoyed making some simple meals in the cabin. Relaxing after our hikes in the outdoor hot tub was a treat each evening. We absolutely loved our stay!! The cabin was exactly as described and the location can’t be beat. It’s less than a 5 minute drive from a winery (which was beautiful!) and brewery. Less than a 10 min drive from downtown. Less than a 5 minute drive from a lookout point. A 10-15 minute drive to Cacapon. It is truly a perfect weekend getaway with a responsive host and beautiful place to stay. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!!

The place is pretty secluded. You can see one other house from the property but we did not really see any other people. The place was very clean and comfortable. We loved staying at Tony’s cabin in Berkeley Springs! It was peaceful and remote. Yes, other cabins are in sight, but over four days we saw one person with their dog walk down the road. Not a single car drove by. It’s a great spot to escape for some quiet and solitude. Our dog agrees. 🙂

We booked this stay as a quick birthday getaway. It was peaceful and relaxing. The stargazing from the hot tub was spectacular. There is a cute babbling brook by the driveway that offers a very pleasant sound effects. If you enjoy hiking and the outdoors, the area is perfect. Berkley Springs is a wonderful hidden gem. We will be back.

I decided to surprise my husband with a New years getaway we definitely needed a break from our hectic lives. It was such a blessing to be able to bring in the new year in such a beautiful cabin. Went to the antique store on 522 and found a beautiful pair of 1970s diamond earrings at an amazing price. New Year’s Day it was so magical, it snowed all afternoon. We had the fireplace rumbling we went and got a pizza from Fox’s pizza which was pretty good. We took a dip in the Jacuzzi as it was snowing, that was awesome. We napped while hearing the fire crackling was so soothing. Tony’s cabin is very peaceful, very private it was just a picture perfect week. We did four nights five days I wish we could’ve stayed longer. I look forward to escaping again while using another one of Tony‘s fabulous cabins, he’s an excellent host. We never needed for anything, all of my expectations were definitely met. Thank you again. Also being able to bring my fur baby was such a blessing.

Great quiet escape from the city- spot is relaxing, comfortable, & furnished with everything you could need. Three nights at this cabin was rejuvenating and exactly what we had hoped for. Tony is incredibly responsive and very helpful- I had a few strange questions and he graciously answered all of them. Thank you, Tony!

What a great place for a two night recharge! Hot tub was the best we have had in an Airbnb for quite some time, and extra blankets were easy to find when it was surprisingly colder outside than we expected! Would absolutely stay again!

Although this place was very clean and honestly a very good setup, there were only a few things keeping it from being Five star. Let me start by saying people have a strange idea of seclusion. This place is not in the open but there is a neighbor across the road clearly visible from the screened porch and front porch. They have a loud, large, non socialized dog (neighbor yelled while trying to control it) this isn’t Tony’s fault. There are also neighbors up the road who can see in the house via see through blinds. They can also see onto the back deck with hot tub in view. At night the whole kitchen living room is on display for the neighbors. One drawback is zero grass for your dog to do his business on. So be prepared to walk the dark lane with your pup. When I think secluded I think no one can see you from road or through trees. Also all the constant text warnings/instructions caused more stress then being helpful (you end up worrying more about fees then relaxing).

It was a beautiful location, the hot tub was amazing. Only thing is I wished the screened doors weren’t so easy to open. We were worried our dog would push them up in the middle of the night so we couldn’t enjoy the sounds and cool weather.

We absolutely loved our time at Tony's place. It was quiet and beautiful. Our dog especially loved sitting on the screened in porch and watching the birds.
If you are someone who has arachnophobia or can't handle bugs, take the warnings in the description to heart and this stay might not be for you.

This was a spontaneous 2 day getaway for us. We were looking for a cabin that’s peaceful, secluded, quiet, and with a hot tub. It was perfect for us. We loved the screened in deck with lights and ceiling fan. If you like cooking, the kitchen has everything you need. Everything was clean. I can see ourselves booking this cabin again sometime. Tony checked in with us every day with a text to make sure everything was ok. Perfect getaway for us.

The Happy Valley Retreat has become one of our favorite spots to relax. The house is clean and comfortable, and Tony is such a warm and welcoming host, who communicated well through the entire process. He was a wealth of suggestions in the area. The house is thoughfully laid out and the kitchen offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't wait to come back!

We booked Tony’s place last minute for a girls weekend and drove all the way down from Philly to escape the city. We wanted to feel immersed in nature and Tony’s house definitely provided! The house was easy to find at night, and check in was super easy. We were very impressed with how clean the kitchen was and stocked with all kinds of dishes and utensils. All the furniture was so comfortable. The beds especially! We woke up to the sound of frogs, wild birds, woodpeckers, possibly a donkey and a couple of roosters which was fun! The hot tub was impeccably clean and so relaxing. We went for a walk down the road admiring nature and sat outside the whole day just impressed by the surrounding beauty. On our last morning, we woke up to a red cardinal tapping at the bedroom windows, as if he was our alarm clock! So fun! We loved it there so much we didn’t leave the house until the day we checked out and explored the friendly town of Berkeley springs. We would definitely come back!!!

Happy Valley was fantastic! The area is beautiful, Cacapon is fantastic and the surrounding town is cozy with an up and coming art scene. Plenty to do, and Tony has any suggestions that you may need! He's exceptionally communicative and keeps his property very well. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay! We very much enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. We were all very relaxed at the house, dogs included. The screened in porch was great and we loved the hot tub. We enjoyed that nightly while star gazing. We are definitely keeping this property into consideration to visit again. The location is great, secluded in the woods but also close enough to "downtown" Berkley Springs to grab a bite to eat. We enjoyed Charlotte's Cafe, Canary Grill, Berkley Springs Brewery, and hiking and swimming at Cacapon State Park.

Lovely cabin meticulously maintained, highlight was the hot tub on the back deck and the grill/table on the front deck, surrounded by trees. In addition there is a comfortable sitting room area and screened porch too. Everything is organized, labeled, communicated. We chose this as a half-way point between two couples that wanted some face-to-face time as colleagues in the same organization, so it was partly work but in a relaxing atmosphere, which this was perfect for. Great internet, plenty of spaces to meet and work, and very much removed from the rest of life, with pleasant relaxing/friendship time too. Wooded and quiet. The rules look a little overwhelming but they are mostly just common courtesy types of "rules" so I'm guessing they get some rowdy or careless guests and are trying to keep this space nice for their own family? So far so good!

My husband and I were looking for a last minute getaway for his birthday. We came across this place and figured we’d give it a shot. We booked it a few days before and I received the house manual, instructions etc the day before. I appreciated everything was clearly laid out, and Tony was extremely helpful. We had two small hiccups, one with the smoke detectors beeping, and we had to take the batteries out, and nest down to charge it all weekend; and the other was upon arrival it was 59 degrees inside. We didn’t realize the thermostat wasn’t going to heat the place at all, and we should have bought firewood for that first night. TO BE CLEAR, Tony’s manual did suggest we get firewood. That hiccup was on us, not him. Just letting everyone know, the thermostat is a “backup,” and you rely on the wood stove for heat if needed. Aside from that, Tony checked in on us each day and offered to make recs if needed. We would stay again if we decide to go back to this area to stay. Dog friendly!

This place was just beautiful. While there were a few houses nearby, it felt like it was totally secluded. Everything was clean and just as described. There were even some additional bonuses like some beer and juice in the fridge and a plate of candy on the counter.
I am mobility impaired, but had an easy time getting around the house. The back porch was directly a walk-out. The main (side) entrance had a small flight of stairs, but had a good hand railing and it was just a couple steps.
The hot tub was lovely and a nice attraction for us. We planned on doing some things nearby, but the seclusion was great and it was an easy drive into town.
There were only two small hiccups in our stay. We had some trouble with the lockbox code, but the owner was very responsive and it was a minor inconvenience. Also, there is a very territorial Cardinal (bird) that enjoyed whacking into the windows in the morning (a bit early for my taste).
A wonderful trip and magnificent property!

Dog friendly cabin design with a private backyard and screened in porch - a great first vacation for our two pups. The hot tub was clean and worked great. Tony even left us a few drinks in the fridge. He had great recommendations for things to do just a short drive away. The neighbor rooster crowing was an adorable touch. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful cabin and well appointed! Everything you need to feel right at home! Tony is an A+++ host! He checks in often and is very responsive and helpful! I was concerned about WiFi and cell service and Tony assured me that the WiFi is excellent! He was right! I also use Verizon as my carrier and had great cell reception the whole stay. Also, the WiFi was just like my high speed internet at home!
The cabin was extremely clean and beautifully furnished without feeling cluttered! You could “smell” the clean without the chemical smell. Complimentary Teas and coffee were provided so I enjoyed many cups of green tea while soaking in the hot tub in the evenings and mornings. The beds and furniture were super comfortable!
I didn’t venture out during my stay but Tony gives many wonderful suggestions on places to go and were to eat and shop during your stay! I feel refreshed after two wonderful days and will definitely choose this or any other property hosted by Tony in the future!

Great place to stay! The property is extremely quiet and private. The hot tub was very clean along with the rest of the house. The host was always in touch via text to make sure things were as expected. This was a great find for us, and we would without a doubt return!

We went last minute for a one night getaway from DC to Tony’s place - one couple and our dog. It was a good space for just the three of us and if the weather was a bit warmer, we would
have used even more of it. (ie: deck, screen porch)
The town is about a 10 min drive away from the neighborhood and is quite charming. Tony is super responsive and has a thorough guidebook for all his properties which is really helpful.
The hot tub is huge/really clean and was a real plus staying there once we got it going. The fireplace was also great (bring wood!) and master bed comfortable.

Great place to get away, relax and enjoy nature and each other's company. Tucked nicely back in the woods. Surely enjoyed the hot tub (especially with the colder temps!). Also greatly enjoyed the red cardinal bird that visited for at least 30-45 minutes in the morning, tapping on the windows saying hello! Highly recommend. 🙂

We had a fantastic time at Tony's cabin! Everything was clean and communication was fantastic. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and hot tub. The master suite has a lovely view with the doors and windows, it was wonderful to have the sun come in each morning. The location was perfect for having a quiet space but close enough to get into town and other attractions. We appreciated Tony's communication and checking to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is perfectly nestled in the woods and is incredibly cozy. The screened in porch is a wonderful refuge from the bugs in the evening, and the hot tub was great for soaking any time! It's all super private, which is great. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and the beds were super cozy! We'd love to stay again!
