We really enjoyed our stay in WV in this adorable A-frame. It was peaceful and super private. Tony is a great host!

I like that place and tony is a great person for whatever it happens in the house, the hot tub looks good and clean, the grill looks also good and we used it to cook, the inside looks great and very clean house.

Definitely worth the stay. Was easy to explore the local area. Could use a little better water pressure for the shower, but otherwise can’t complain. Definitely make sure you have 4WD.

The place was absolutely beautiful. It was nice and cozy home. It was quiet, the lake was nice, the boys loved fishing there and to be able to come and relax in the hot tub was perfect. We will definitely be going back again.

Cabin was nice, just as pictured! Tiny was super helpful and easy to work with. We were a little disappointed with some of the resort amenities (pool was supposed to be heated and wasn’t worker told us she couldn’t turn it past 70), that is not Tony’s fault or anything he can fix. We enjoyed our time with family for sure!

The neighborhood was nice and peaceful and the house very accommodating for families. Lots of things to do around the quaint town. Worth the trip.

The air BNB was well located, only a twenty minute drive from town, and the kitchen had enough equipment to cook with. The hot tub was really nice as was the covered porch.

The perfect getaway! The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and very private. Tony was a great host and communicated very well.

Beautiful location. Friendly owner. Place was nice but for $1234.00 for 2 nights , it was the most expensive of our 19 Berkley Springs stays. I was expecting so much more but had a great Father's Day with my Family. So if you select, just make sure you see it as is, not what is was.

Positive:
The cabin is spacious and had nice amenities: games, pool table, hot tub, lake access. The deck on the front made it easy to enjoy the outdoors. There were plenty of clean towels available. The beds were comfortable. The house manual sent by the owner gave great information to make the entire trip easier and more comfortable.

Negative:
There wasn’t a frying pan available for cooking eggs. The bedrooms spread throughout three levels so our little ones were separated from each other and us. The living room has an awkward arrangement that makes enjoying the television difficult.

however, cabin wasn't very clean and lacked towels and toilet paper.

Tony was responsive and nice.

Positive:
Beautiful inside...kitchen had everything needed. Location was great..you felt like you were in nature. We had tons of deer on the property. The host was in constant communication which was helpful.

Negative:
Two main things.. the only tv was in the living room which was downstairs. And the steps were really steep. I was the only one who could go down them.
Second was the outside sitting areas and getting to the front door. The way into the house was not safe. But once you got to the steps it was fine. All the vegetation was over grown especially near the front and the hot tub. The bench areas just needed a good pressure washing.

Unfortunately, there were major issues with this home that stemmed from plumbing problems. “Tony” reacted somewhat but not enough considering the heavy damage, smell and cold temps. This is beyond the dirty surroundings at the start.
I asked to speak with Tony and was told that he wasn’t available to speak with. Apparently I was texting with an employee who seemed to be Tony until I called.
This home needs a great deal of work and I wouldn’t recommend until that work is done.

The river was a big hit with the family! Relaxing spot. The experience could of been elevated with a few small updates. Over all a great stay

Tony’s place was great and right next to the river. We really enjoyed the scenery and escape from the City

In a location where cell signal is basically nonexistent, it was really nice that high speed reliable WiFi was available! Great place to relax and unwind.

Great little cabin minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs and Cacapon state park. We look forward to staying here again!

Had a wonderful time. Nice and private with a hot tub. Would definitely recommend using a SUV or something similar due to location and the massive amount of construction going on in the neighborhood. It's definitely manageable, but you'll want a bigger car. Otherwise, loved the cabin and the location.

We booked Tony’s place last minute for a girls weekend and drove all the way down from Philly to escape the city. We wanted to feel immersed in nature and Tony’s house definitely provided! The house was easy to find at night, and check in was super easy. We were very impressed with how clean the kitchen was and stocked with all kinds of dishes and utensils. All the furniture was so comfortable. The beds especially! We woke up to the sound of frogs, wild birds, woodpeckers, possibly a donkey and a couple of roosters which was fun! The hot tub was impeccably clean and so relaxing. We went for a walk down the road admiring nature and sat outside the whole day just impressed by the surrounding beauty. On our last morning, we woke up to a red cardinal tapping at the bedroom windows, as if he was our alarm clock! So fun! We loved it there so much we didn’t leave the house until the day we checked out and explored the friendly town of Berkeley springs. We would definitely come back!!!

Happy Valley was fantastic! The area is beautiful, Cacapon is fantastic and the surrounding town is cozy with an up and coming art scene. Plenty to do, and Tony has any suggestions that you may need! He's exceptionally communicative and keeps his property very well. Highly recommend.
