Negative:
The shower, unfortunately is part of an undersized clawfoot tub. It's difficult to get into the tub if one is a bit older and once in, there are no handholds so falling is a real possibility. The shared bathroom really was no problem and we loved the remodeled kitchen and air conditioning.
As a blended family, this was the first time we have vacationed without other family members or friends. This was the most relaxing vacations we have had! Everyone enjoyed doing what the wanted all week. We did not need to leave the house! It was so beautiful and so well equipped with lots of activities for all ages! We saw a bald eagle fly by as we unloaded the vehicles and had a small rain shower the first day that presented the most beautiful double rainbow that we could see clearly from the front deck! We knew then our entire trip would be magical and it truly was! We are looking to come back when it is cooler to really enjoy the sauna, hot tub and dome more! The only downfall was the bugs (which in the summer and in the woods were expected!) but we did get to see some interesting new insects! We are looking forward to our next visit & we have already recommended the rental to several friends!
Our family spent six days together at this mountain home. The house was large, the kitchen fully stocked and big enough for all cooks at once. The second kitchen was perfect. The living area was big enough for our crew of 17 and we all fit on the sofa! The basketball hoop and ping pong table were used daily. We decided to bring in our own water to drink. The water is clean but had a smell. It was not an issue. You should also bring your food in as it is a hike to stores. We spent a day at Blackwater Falls, which was beautiful! The two levels of decks and screen house were the highlights. It was a memorable week together.
After a busy weekend, we had a peaceful relaxing evening. The hot tub was a wonderful spot to unwind and watch the stars and lightning bugs. In the morning, the screened porch was the perfect spot to enjoy our coffee and listen to the birds, especially our cardinal friend that said hello several times. Beautiful home and location - private, wooded and serene. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Tony was super helpful with any questions we had during our stay and responded quickly. The home looks exactly like the photos, comfortable beds, and exactly what we needed for 7 guests. We stayed for 2 nights to bungee jump in Harper's Ferry the morning of our stay, and the downtown area was only a 15 minute drive. Highly recommend if you can handle a few spiders, which we were warned about before hand, being in the woods.

Very gorgeous, private area! It was very peaceful area, and the inside was super cozy. Host was very kid and helpful! Thank you for everything!
Positive:
The view from the back deck was amazing. The road was an adventure to drive on to get there. I also loved the layout of the space and all the extra features they had.
Negative:
That i couldn’t stay longer. Adulting gets in the way.
Located in a nice part of town. The room was clean and tidy, in addition to the host being responsive.
The outdoor amenities were a plus.

We had the best time! The house was beautiful with a huge deck for relaxing! Being so close to the river was what sold us. Tony was so helpful and responsive to make our stay perfect! We will be back!

Good stay, relaxing and peaceful. Communication with Tony was great, prompt response and was very helpful with any questions I had. Just wish the water was actually hot and not warm. Overall, will come back to this house whenever in Luray, close to downtown and house was fully stocked with all the basic necessities.
The stay was good, we would rent a cabin again. At this property an extra roll of toilet paper would have been appreciated. We didn't use the hottub, we enjoyed the fire pit.

This property was everything we hoped for and more! A beautiful home - equipped with everything we needed. Tons of space - all very comfortable and cozy. And so clean! The beds were so comfortable and we all slept wonderfully. Our host Tony was very attentive and easy to communicate with. He provided great local restaurant recommendations. This was the perfect home for our sibling/spouse get together. We made wonderful memories and are so thankful to have had this fabulous home as our base. Would highly recommend Eagles Landing and we plan to return as we are going to make this an annual event!

Amazing location, walkable to Jefferson rock and downtown Harper’s Ferry. The house has a cottage feel which I really liked. Clear entry and exit instructions and the host was always responsive and pro-active. Would stay here again!

We had a fabulous vacation . Our place was so beautiful inside and outside. Awesome views from the hot tub and from each balcony. Sitting at the fire at night was so peaceful and relaxing. We would love to go back for another vacation to this beautiful place .
It was a very peaceful spot to stay and get away nice and quiet the hot tub was relaxing and clean. the houes had everything you for your stay. the apple house restaurant was so good but you have to kind of go off roading from the c
house to get to it but it worthwhile going too.
