Excellent host and lovely property! Photos are accurate and will wow you in person. If you are looking for a quiet small town getaway, look no further.
SUPER CUTE!
Very clean, quick response, well decorated and well stocked with things we didn't even know we needed. Easy and lovely drive from DC, with small towns, ice cream shops and farmer's market on the way there there. Nice weekend get away!
This cabin is super secluded and a good place to go if you’re after some peace and quiet.
Pros: peaceful, great host, easy check in
Cons: house has a musty smell, Berkeley Springs isn’t too charming
A cute spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. House was well stocked and comfortable.
Highly recommend staying here! The cabin is a perfect quiet getaway with a breathtaking view. It is well kept and clean and Tony provides great communication throughout your stay. We loved everything about our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. Tony is a great host and checked in with us everyday to ensure that everything was fine. Would definitely recommend this place!
The cabin is lovely inside. We enjoyed watching the dear saunter by in the morning and at dusk. The hot tub was relaxing.
Amazing cabin. Tony was great and communicated well. Definitely will stay here again. Highly recommended 😊.
Clean and awesome location! We sat our side and watched the stars by the fire pit at night, super peaceful! Spent both days at cacapon state park 10 minutes away because the kids loved the small beach
We had a great stay at Tony's place. The cottage was very comfortable and cozy and was very nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the screened porch and also the grill, and the kitchen was nice. The space was fairly small but was very comfortable for me, my wife, and our dog. Communication with Tony was very easy, and he shared nice recommendations for wineries and breweries in the area as well as parks. Front Royal is easy to get to and was nice to visit, and there are lots of nice parks and things to do within 30 minutes or so. The location is good on the top of a hill and what seems remote, but the accessible part of the yard is pretty small, and the house is in a neighborhood with quite a few houses nearby. The neighborhors were very quiet though, so this wasn'tan issue. Overall, this is a great option not too far from Front Royal with many nice things nearby.
Clean and comfy cabin in midst of nature. Very close to river activities. Tony is a super nice and super helpful host. Will return for a longer stay.

very good
Wonderful cabin, wonderful views, wonderful communication. Everything about this was easy. I was looking for a quick escape from the city, and this was just perfect for an overnight with my pup. Before arriving at the cabin, we enjoyed lunch (Tony lists some great recommendations in the house manual) and brought the leftovers back for dinner. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle, enjoying a quiet night in Tony's cabin. Tony made the whole process super easy with his great communication. Just what I was looking for!
This cabin in hedgeville WV West Virginia was just what the doctor ordered. Quiet, serene and a very relaxing week. Love the beds, they were very comfortable and even though we did not use the loft it was very cute. The place was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Thank you

Nice place.
Overall, an adorable home in a great location on a beautiful island.
Heads up that the mosquitos are terrible on the island and were a problem in the house. We got lit up pretty bad with bug bites at this location.
Quaint old home very central to the historic area of Harpers Ferry. A 500 foot walk down the street takes you past historic ruins, St Peter's church, the appalachian trail staircase, and numerous NHP buildings. This is extremely important as parking for the historic area is often more than a very hilly 1/2 mile away. The views from the back porch are stunning.
The home does show its 200 years in some ways. There are plenty of sloping floors, crooked door frames, and interior doors that don't close all the way. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, the AC works well, and there is plenty of comfortable furniture.
The layout description is a little misleading. There is a very small half bath off of the kitchen, and a small 3/4 bath (shower, no tub) off of the master bedroom upstairs. There is a master bedroom with its own access to the hall, but the other 2 "bedrooms" are really 1 bedroom with a forechamber that has to be passed though to get to the real bedroom.
The parking spot is so narrow that passengers have to get out of your car before you finish parking. Historic narrow streets...
If you want to immerse yourself in history, this is a wonderful, quirky, old home in the center of everything. If you want a large luxurious home, look elsewhere.
