My stay at Tony's place was a great experience. The location is exceptional. The Shenandoah River flows quietly right there past the yard. I could hear the river as I grilled, while sitting by the firepit, and even while sitting in the hot tub. I loved the mornings while listening to the birds and the river. It was so peaceful hearing the sounds of nature while also watching the squirrels and birds scurry around. I even saw the sunrise and sunset over the river. The entire area was beautifully green and full of life. As far as the house, I slept really well all week. The shades that cover the windows were a bonus for me as I like to sleep in pitch dark. We cooked several meals in the well-stocked kitchen. Tony was very receptive to communication as he texted me to ensure everything was going well with my stay. Tony's place is located about 20 minutes north of the town of Luray. The drive into Luray is beautiful with rolling hills and mountains in view. I highly recommend this place!

Tony was a gracious and responsive host. The space was nice and well kept. We encountered a slight issue with the plumbing and he made immediate accommodations. I would definitely recommend his place.

Overall we had a good stay at Tony’s place, only booked for one night, so didn’t have a chance to fully explore the area.

The cabin is as described, appx 5 min drive from Alpine lake, check-in process was very smooth.

Inside the house looks nice, but not the cleanest. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the trash can was dirty on the outside with no trash bag inside.

The kitchen could have been stocked better, we couldn’t find any wine glasses.

Compared to some other well stocked airbnbs we stayed before this felt below average.

Overall a good lake house to stay if you don’t care for those little things.

loved it! got there in the middle of the night, which made it hard to find. that's my fault though, host talked me through how to get to the location. in the morning, it was obvious. what I get for last-minute escapes haha

loved it!

This cabin is the perfect get away for a girls weekend or even with the whole family! Brought my sister down for her bachelorette weekend and everyone had so much room to move around and not feel cramped. Beautiful kitchen and wrap around deck. The view is to kill for especially while it’s raining out. The hot tub is directly under the screened in porch so it’s nice to sit down there while it rains as well.

P.s. the naked olive and hillbilly heaven is a must if you make your way out here!

we loved our time at this cabin, made perfect thanks to the breathtaking views; well-appointed kitchen; full & hot t

Positive:
The property was lovely! It was so peaceful, being somewhat secluded, and the patio and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. The proximity to the caverns and Shenandoah National Park made this our perfect vacation spot!

Negative:
we were a bit disappointed with the “river access” as it was quite a long walk from the cabin.

Beautiful cabin in the woods! We loved the location and the property had all of the amenities listed. Didn't use the hot tub but sitting outside on the porch was wonderful. Can't wait to come back again!

Excellent little getaway cabin! Private, yet close enough to nearby attractions Harpers Ferry & Charles Town to venture out easily. Detailed instructions provided on all aspects of house & property! Photos are accurate. Host was incredible with communication!!

Big applause to cleaners. Everything was done perfectly. She prepared the hot tub for us. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well -organized. All dishes and supplies were clean and new. I like the living room area it felt right at home. WiFi and Smart TV were perfect. There are a bunch of board games that you can play. The host did a good job. You won’t regret to visit this lovely cabin. I will definitely go back and bring my fam with me. Good place and I really had a nice stay

The place was great and we had a nice and relaxing weekend. It looked exactly as pictured and there were no major complaints. The hot tub was great, bed was very comfy, super quiet, and close to a lot of outdoor activities. Overall, it was a great stay!

Excellent little get-away near Cacapon State Park, Berkeley Springs, etc. Didn't get to spend a lot of time within the cabin itself as we were busy during our trip, but lots of space and amenities onsite as well, such as the paddleboards and river, ping pong, a hot tub, etc. Would stay again!

Tony was a great host! Very proactive in preparing for our arrival and immediately responsive to our few questions.

We really enjoyed the cabin. It had a nice amount of beds for the size and they were all comfortable! A great place to come back to after spending the day out in the state park nearby.
