Tony was a great host with excellent communication! He checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. This place was perfect for our small group of girlfriends to hang out on the enclosed deck or easily drive into town.
Great place to unplug and get away from the real world for a bit. Be aware there is zero cell service, no internet, tv ect. But the hot tub is great and they provide a ton of family games. We found creek access and the dogs were able to run in the creek. It was very relaxing and the hosts were super nice!
Very nice little place, perfect for dogs. We had a great time viewing the beauty of the Shenandoah Mountains. Tony is very nice and helpful if you need anything!
Amazing spot, will definitely be coming back!
We had a great day. Tony was wonderful at communication. The house was everything it said it was. Clean. Convenient. It was a perfect family getaway. Thank you Tony, we will stay again very soon.
Tony was a great host and the place was as pictured. Very secluded and the view is spectacular. Communication and cleanliness were on point. Would agree with previous reviewers about the heat. It was exceptionally hot when we were there and the two air conditioners in the bedrooms were not enough to combat the heat, which ultimately led to significant discomfort during the day, and a particularly hot stay for my son in the upper bedroom. Not much landscaping around the house, and a pretty steep drop off into the woods, so not comfortable exploring right around the property. But overall, a nice stay!
Lovely historic house in great location in Harpers Ferry. Very close to the center but also very quiet neighborhood. Great communicator - any queries we had were answered and resolved within minutes. Would recommend anyone visiting this area to stay in this house. Many thanks
We had an amazing weekend stay at the cabin! We really appreciated Tony checking in with us to make sure we were settling in. We took our dog, and she was so excited to run around the backyard playing fetch! We had one very happy and tired little girl at the end of our stay! The humans enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and playing Foosball downstairs in the game room! A perfect spot for anyone looking to have some peace and quiet and a nice haven after a hike in Harpers Ferry! We look forward to returning soon!
Our second stay at the cabin, and another wonderful time. The dogs had so much fun, and we enjoyed the wildlife and mushrooms around the cabin. It was easy to schedule a grocery pick up to grab on our way into town. Can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful property with every thing you could ask for!
Amazing view, it was nice to sit at the recliner and watch the beautiful landscape drinking coffee in the morning! Sunset was also breathtaking. Cabin was clean and well stocked. We had our mini labradoodle with us and he had a blast. Highly recommend going to downtown Winchester and having a beer at Broken Window Brewery, they are dog friendly!
A very nice stay, leaving us with good memories
Positive:
The location, the cosyness.
Negative:
If you plan to stay longer, no washing machine on site.
We loved the LittleFawn cabin. The hot tub, fire pit, and large deck were our highlights. It is in a beautiful location and a short drive away from activities and stores. On the surface the cabin was pretty clean and neat. However there were areas that could have used a more thorough cleaning.
The house is lovely, and very secluded. There are a couple of neighbors, but not too close. Beautiful floors, nice lighting, and comfortable beds. Plenty of room for multiple guests. The wifi, TV's, hot-tub, ping-pong table, fire-pit, games & puzzles, and access to kayaks down by the community entrance provided plenty of entertainment. We spent a lot of time on the large screened-porch enjoying the sounds and smells of nature. When you stay here, be prepared to stay. Aside from a country store & an ice cream/burger stand 15 mins away, the closest town we found with a gas station, restaurants, and booze was Berkeley Springs, which was 30+ minutes away. About 20 mins in the opposite direction is PawPaw, which consists of a Dollar General and a gas station with a deli that made tasty breakfast sandwiches. There are more deer than people around, and the windy, and narrow gravel-roads traveling here make it clear that nature is the main attraction in this area. Come prepared, and you will absolutely love your stay here.
Great experience and Tony was very responsive! Very helpful with suggestions for food and activities in the local area. Our dogs were in absolute heaven with all the outdoor space to run around on!
Tony was extremely easy to communicate with, he proactively messaged us and responded to all of our questions. The hot tub was clean, the location got us to Luray Caverns within 20 minutes, and the deck gave us a chance to do some nice star gazing. This relaxing little cabin was perfect for me, my husband and our baby as we passed through.
Everything was wonderful! All the wildlife and room to do things outside was great for a family and kids! I loved the early morning it was gorgeous! Tony made sure to communicate the entire time. Would love to come back again it was gorgeous and the cabin was so comfy! There are a lot of beautiful sights to see within an hour drive around the cabin as well I’d recommend. Thanks so much for a wonderful vacation!
Great stay. Tony is very responsive and helpful. He arranged for a cleaner in the middle of our stay to take care of the unclean grill that was left by previous guests.
Perfect cozy place for a family get away. The house had everything we needed.
