We had an awesome weekend away from the city at Tony’s cabin with our kids & dogs! We appreciated all of the games & coloring books for the kids. Berkeley Springs was delightful! We enjoyed a romp around Cacapon State Park, followed by a visit to the cat cafe and Canary Grill! The grill worked great for dinner. The hot tub was another highlight! Highly recommend this spot ❤️

Tony was such a great host, very responsive and easily reachable! My dog and I stayed just us and as a young woman it’s always important to feel safe staying alone. I felt right at home and very secure at Tony’s. The backyard was beautiful with the view of the creek, and the front yard had a nice view as well. Great location, I’m sure it would be even better in the warmer months.
Great place for a stay. Tony was super helpful when we needed to turn the hot tub on, and it was a great visit.
loved Tony's place. loved the hot tub and all the amenities provided. clean place to stay. Tony is a great host. very easy to communicate with. only issue not related to anyone but maps may tell you the home is in one location when in truth it is a little bit further down and if you arrive at night it may be hard to read the house numbers. but this is not the owners fault just an FYI.
My boyfriend and I were both experiencing burnout at work, and knew we needed to get out in the woods (we like to camp, backpack, etc.). I’ve grown up my entire life in WV, and had never heard of Gerrardstown. I’m so glad I came across this listing!! The sunset view from the hot tub was AMAZING, the BnB was very well-kept, and Tony was extremely prompt in answering my questions. We very well may come back here if it’s not booked up already! Perfect weekend getaway for any outdoorsy type.
We stayed at Tony’s cabin for a weekend of skiing at Whitetail and found it to be clean, comfortable, cozy and in a great location. Tony was very responsive and friendly. Would stay again.

With that said, the only thing that wasn’t perfect was the wifi situation- didn’t affect our trip, however, the place is set with a cell booster and a t-mobile wifi hotspot which said “internet not available” even though my t-mobile iPhone had 5G service the entire time?so beware of wifi service if that’s an issue for you- my wife and I loved the blu-ray movie collection, so while we couldn’t keep up with our fav. evening streaming shows, we caught up on a cpl classic favorites out of the movie collection- the tub was nice and clean and the fireplace has a handy blower(switch on the left side, which I didn’t find until after our first night), and everything is as described- the lake, is a bit of a drive from the cabin,or a very gnarly hike-The roads are in better condition than most dirt roads I’m used to, but if it’s snowing, I suggest using chains- we had perfect weather so that wasn’t an issue for us-
All in all,my wife and I look forward to returning!5⭐️
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Tony’s! The house was cozy and was very clean. It was SO peaceful being up in the mountains. We also had a lovely little visit to the Cat Café which was only 20 minutes away! Lastly, Tony was quick to respond and was very helpful the entire time and even provided food recommendations. Overall we had a lovely stay and enjoyed every second. :)
We absolutely loved this airbnb. My husband and I needed a getaway to clear our minds and that’s exactly what we got. The view is beautiful we spent our mornings drinking coffee overlooking the mountain from the deck and our nights in the sunroom area by the main bedroom sipping wine doing the same. The hot tub was perfect especially since we went for hikes during the day. Tony made sure everything was great and was always super quick to respond!
One thing I will say is driveway is steep since you’re on a mountain I would be sure your comfortable going up something like that with your vehicle. For us when we first got there we panicked because it was such a sharp turn into the driveway that seemed impossible. Thankfully if you drive just a little bit further down the road there is a spot to turn around and coming back the driveway is way easier to access! We made it up no problem in an old truck without four-wheel drive.

Tony was always quick to respond. Place was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Peaceful nights in the hot tub. I would recommend Tony’s place.

We loved getting away to Tony’s Cabin! I will not stop raving about Cold Run Winery, it’s less than 5 min from the cabin and makes AMAZING home made wine. My boyfriend and I are obsessed. Tony was always responsive and ready to help! Thank you again!

We loved everything about this stay! It was quiet, comfortable, and has a homey feel. Tony’s communication is immaculate! Very clear instructions, very proactive and responsive. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Some reviews said it took a while to warm up but when we got there it was already at the set temperature and stayed pretty consistent throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!
really enjoyed that this cabin was set back and in a quiet location. check in process was easy. The only drawback is the main bedroom bed was really uncomfortable.
We had a great time and spent a lot more time in the house with the 15F cold front that kept us bundled inside ! we cooked and played games and escaped just to visit the rabbit hole. I do suggest trying to carpool, only two spots come with the rental, we had to park at the river access and pay the 20 fee, which was fine, just didn't plan for the coordination.
My partner and I had a nice stay at this cabin for a long weekend. We made use of the hot tub and appreciated it’s convenient location near Bryce Resort, where we went skiing! Just know that the water in the house does come from their own well, so it has an iron-y scent. Other than that, Tony was a great host - very responsive to our questions and friendly!
