Tony was a great host, very responsive, always checked in, and very friendly! Great quiet location. So grateful it was dog friendly, they loved the yard! Cute cottage and loved the screened in porch! Would stay again if visiting the island again!

What a beautiful AirBNB and over all experience. Mount Jackson itself is such a beautiful place to visit, there’s beautiful scenery everywhere. The cabin was perfect, we were greeted with a cozy space, a personable hand written card, and goodie bag. Tony is amazing— by far one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. He is attentive, patient, accommodating, and always responds in a timely manner. I asked for him to give the hot tub a little extra attention for cleanliness due to one of the guests having sensitive skin and he had no problem filling the hot tub with fresh water for us before our check in. He even let us check in early and gave me the option to check out early upon request! If you’re considering booking this space, do it!!

Amazing location for a secluded getaway with a cute small town not too far away. Hot tub and scenery were both incredible! More than enjoyed our time away from the grind. Wonderful host who was responsive, and everything on the listing was accurate. Would definitely recommend, can’t wait to come back!

Tony was a great host who was easy to communicate with. The cabin was well decorated and the hot tube was perfect to come back to after a long day of hiking.

Tony was a terrific host from my first inquiry through checkout! The cabin was exactly as described, clean & comfortable with a well equipped kitchen! The couch was perfect for relaxing by the fireplace at night! Great location & we enjoyed walking our pup around the property!

We had a great time at Tony's place. The cabin was great and we loved being able to cook in the kitchen and spend time in the hot tub. It is pretty remote, so be sure to keep that in mind. We loved getting away from it all. And I had no problem kicking back and just enjoying the cabin. On Saturday we drove to the Wolf Gap Recreation Area to do a hike and then to a brewery. Then it was about an hour drive back to the cabin. On Sunday a few others went to Lost River State Park to hike a little. The one thing to keep in mind is that to get to the second bedroom (the one with the bunks), you have to go through the main bedroom. This didn't bother us since we were all really close friends. And this would probably be a plus for families. Just something to keep in mind. Oh and the wifi was fantastic. So even though it felt remote, we could still stream movies.

Amazing stay. The location was amazing, the hot tub was as great as can be, and there is a homey feel about the cabin. This place definitely checked all of the boxes that a nice cabin needs to for me and I would recommend this place for anyone !

Had a lovely stay here. Being from a city it was amazing to stay at this cozy cottage with beautiful surroundings and unwind.

Tony was a great host and provided in-depth information before we even had to ask. Check-in and check-out were both simple and straightforward.

The cottage was super clean and looked well loved. Also the hot tub was awesome!

Cute and cozy cabin with beautiful views! Just as described in the listing and pictures! Kitchen was well stocked (pots/pans/dishes/utensils) and things were easy to find and access. Great internet service - easy to stream devices. Tony was a very responsive host and helpful with any questions!

Perfect place for a long weekend getaway! The cabin was cozy and quiet and had plenty of space for the two of us and our dogs. Would also work for two couples looking to travel together. Tony was very proactive in providing us information and was quick to answer questions or offer local recommendations. It's pretty secluded so expect to have to drive about 15 minutes to get anywhere (except CJ's - 5 minutes down the road and a great local bar!) but there are nice towns nearby with plenty to check out. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

This was a great weekend getaway! We enjoyed the amazing views and cozy feel of the cabin. It had everything we needed. We brought our meals and easily prepared them in the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed spectacular views for our morning coffee and evening glass of wine. Also enjoyed watching the “local residents” (several deer and a few turkeys) wonder about the property. Tony made the process very easy. We highly recommend this location, and look forward to returning!

Awesome place to be at. Specially at night. You can see all the starts in the sky from the fire pit. He has many things to use for cooking with. Comfortable and nice. Did not get a chance to use the hot tub but it looked good.

Tony reached out often to make sure everything went well which was appreciated. It was very easy to check in and out. His home was in a great quiet location with plenty of space. Very relaxing and comfortable. Would recommend!

Tony was in communication with us the entire time, making sure everything was going alright and checking if we needed anything. It was the perfect cabin for a getaway weekend! I would definitely stay here again.

While there were many positive aspects of our experience at this cabin, there were also several issues.

The good: this cabin is in a great location. It’s quiet and peaceful but also close enough to Luray. There was a nice view of the mountains from the main room. It’s also nearby a little community pond where we were able to catch bass. The house itself has pretty much everything you need in terms of kitchenware, shampoo, comfy bed and soft sheets etc. The fireplace is lovely!

The bad: the cabin is in need of some maintenance. There were noticeably soft spots on the floor, patched places that weren’t ever painted, a mystery smell and a lot of flies. The biggest issue was the hot tub. It wasn’t working when we arrived. The host was very responsive and sent out a nice person to fix it and then offered to send someone else out the next day, but it was way too much interaction. The hot tub was never hot enough and had very discolored water. The TV also could not stream shows at all.
