We had a great time away from the city for my husband’s birthday with our dogs. The fenced in yard was great for them.

By far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely gorgeous home and such a lovely area. I’m already making plans to come back soon!
We enjoyed our stay—super peaceful and relaxing! The cabin had everything we needed. Tony was quick to respond to any texts and also sent helpful and friendly reminders about checkout, and asked for feedback.
Tony is great and so is her place. If you’re looking for secluded but nice this is the place for you. Nice cozy cabin tucked away in the forest.
Great place
It was such a cozy and quiet place, also clean and had many kitchen utensils. Best place to spend a short vacation with my fiance.
Beautiful, Relaxing Retreat
We stayed at this property for our annual girls getaway. The home itself was updated and very comfortable. You couldn’t ask for a better view, and all the special touches were fantastic. Very well stocked kitchen, we really didn’t need to bring any supplies. We enjoyed the spa for a day, which was very nice. Dinners in Bedford Springs and Martinsburg were close by. Would love to stay again!
Place was fair, certainly not worth the $864.48 we were charged for basically one lousy day.
Positive:
Deck and Hot Tub where OK. Bedrooms decent. Kitchen was satisfactory.
Negative:
Problem connecting the TV. Floors are terrible, they sag in many areas. We had originally booked this for 3 days for $755. We had a death in the family and they agreed to allow us to reschedule. We verified the three days where available that chose. When we arrived our check in time was 4PM on Monday. We spent Tuesday touring around. Wednesday we realized our dates somehow got screwed up and we had to checkout by 10 AM. We were late checking out but when I called to find out why they said it was how the rescheduled dates were entered in booking.com. They considered our stay as 3 days/2 nights???? Excuse me....we had one day. To top it off they added $109. to our fee and we ended up paying $864. for basically one lousy day. I wouldn't deal with this place or booking.com EVER AGAIN. Buyer beware!!!
Amazing Property
The house was truly amazing. It had everything our big group needed, easily accommodating multiple families with young kids. Really great layout with lots of wonderful communal spaces as well as places to sneak away for more solitude. Location was beautiful and the views from the deck are unbeatable. We'd return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
Very nice house, clean, comfortable, Convenient to Harper's Ferry, Shepherdstown, Charles Town.
Positive:
Very clean, comfortable, well-equipped.
Negative:
Location not as isolated as we'd hoped - Noise from nearby lawnmowers and construction. Low water pressure in bathroom sink, need non-slip surface in bathtub.
Positive:
This Harper’s Ferry cottage is conveniently located to downtown Harper’s Ferry, so if you’re looking for a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Inside was super clean and the decor was cozy with warm woods on the ceiling and pretty rustic hardwood cabinets in the kitchen. The hot tub was heated to a balmy 103, was very clean and ready for us to jump right in. We really enjoyed these features of the property. Tony, our host was extremely responsive to any and all questions. If you do stay here and get a chance to travel beyond Harper’s Ferry, we also ventured to Shepardstown, just 12 miles from Harper’s Ferry and had lunch at the Blue Moon Cafe. It was amazing and we highly recommend ! That town was VERY cute with shops and taverns. LOVED IT!
Absolutely stunning!!
This was a great little spot. Short drive to the National Park and close to several grocery stores. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and had all the utensils we needed. There were some visible neighbors but the place still felt private. We spent most of our time at the home enjoying the patio. The house manual was very thorough and the host was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.
The house was very nice. Nice hot water and good beds. Host was very nice. So 10/10 EXCEPT… the pictures didn’t not show how close the other house was. We could hear them talking on their porch in the morning. I wanted private but it was the opposite.
This is a great place to stay with just a few minor issues. The location is excellent. There is a cool hiking trail that starts right nearby the cabin, and more things to do just a quick drive away. We ran into a few maintenance issues (burned out lightbulbs, a broken bunk bed ladder) but the host was responsive and got us replacement lightbulbs the night we arrived (and we didn't need to use that bunk bed). The community it is in has a great outdoor heated pool, and the hot tub at the AirBnB itself was also a nice treat. Great, fun place for families with kids.
The kitchen is very nice in terms of working space, but needs a pots/pans/utensils refresh to be considered well stocked. This was probably our biggest frustration as people who plan to cook at AirBnBs rather than go to restaurants. I expect to bring my own good knives to a rental place, but for example I don't expect to need to bring a pasta cooking pot. Addressing the kitchen limitations would make this a 5 star place
Fun cabin in the woods near beautiful lake. Cabin is 10 min walk or short drive from playground or boat rental and club house. We used the pool at the lodge but had issues with our pool pass (included) which was easily resolved by friendly staff. Tony was very responsive and gave recommendations for local restaurants which are about 20min drive to closest. The community lodge has a decent restaurant if you don’t want to drive. Didn’t get to fish but they do stock the lake. All in all a good spot if your looking for a cabin off the beaten path with amenities around.
We had a great time, everything was just as advertised. The hot tub and fire pit were great. Our dog had a good time too!
Enjoyed our stay and Tony was incredibly helpful and proactive.
Tony was helpful and chincoteague was a fun family place. House was more spacious than the pictures and the porches were nice.
Great peaceful cabin in the woods!
This place was amazing! Tony was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Our dogs loved the surrounding woods and always had something to do. It was definitely a tranquil stay in the mountains!
