This is the 2nd time i have stayed at one of Tony's Airbnb and once again it was an absolute amazing home! Super clean and overall a great place for a getaway. The hot tub was the cherry on top for the cool weather.

Quiet safe neighborhood, it was ready when promised, and everything was super comfortable. The place smelled good, the hot tub was hot, and the little sofa dome on the deck was super cool thing I didn’t realize would be there! The mattress was very comfortable and I appreciated the quiet and safety of the neighborhood. I was there to chill by myself…this was my first air bnb stay, and I was very happy with it. I would very willingly do it again!

We had a very nice 3 night stay. Check In/Out was quick and easy. Peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The scenery is beautiful, our last night was clear skies and you could see so many stars. We absolutely loved the Hypedome and the hot tub. Many stores and restaurants in nearby Martinsburg. Would love to stay again in the future!

Tony’s place was a great place to come home and relax in. Everything was clean and perfect and looks like he’s still actively making the place even better. (got a sneak peak of a bubble dome in the works) He’s also very responsive and understanding, we completely mixed up our depart date and left later then check out but he was still very understanding and extremely nice. Was a great host and a great place to call home for a few days.

If I could give this place more stars I would. It was a perfect little weekend get away for my dogs 12th birthday, he loves to hike and there’s plenty of trails and parks not far. We hiked to harpers ferry and spent the day there ( it’s a must see if you haven’t been) the house is so unique and beautiful, my favorite part is the windows, for sure! We definitely plan on coming back sometime in the fall 😊

Tony is an excellent host, very proactive and helpful. The house itself is lovely, matched the pictures perfectly. The firepit and hot tub really made this already-great Airbnb extra special. We loved the internet connection and ability to stream anything. I have a son with food intolerances, so we cook almost every meal ourselves, and Tony's place has a great base of dishes, cooking pots and utensils. Absolutely no complaints, only praise for this gem. Looking forward to coming again.

The house was in a wooded neighborhood and was perfect for us for the night as we were traveling north from FL to NY. The jacuzzi on the deck was a plus. Very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms were also clean. You can tell this house hosts pets, but with a zyrtec I was able to stay the night with no issues. The stairs and upstairs bedroom are carpeted which was clean as far as we could tell. We did not stay upstairs. One bit of caution, we have a Ford Transit Van and even though the ground was not wet and no ice or snow, our van had a hard time making it back up the small part of the driveway. Our all terrain tires just slipped on the gravel and would go up the steep drive until I unloaded the back of the van and rocked it out of the spot the tire were sliding. Use the circle driveway instead. and you will not have a problem. There is a large fences in area for your dogs. The neighbors all have dogs as well so they will have fun barking at each other. A good stay for 1night

Pros:
Speedy and courteous customer service, comfortable beds/bedding, clean, secluded, fenced in yard-great for dogs, large bathrooms and quality tv.
Cons:
Strong musty/ashtray smell throughout the home, stove and oven does not work properly (suggest not using at all), low wattage microwave and minimal cookware/utensils, pots and pans need replacing, many neighbors have loud dogs who bark all day and night, garbage scattered throughout the outdoor area, heating system keeps bedrooms super hot and rest of house very cold.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the customer service.

Cute cabin! Very clean. I do wish that the beds were a bit firmer, but other than that, we had a great time! Our dog loved running around the fenced-in area; hot tub was clean and fun. Tony and team are very responsive, proactively following up. Note that if you have a dog, there is a large brown male dog (intact) that roams around the neighborhood and remarks things on everyone's properties. He didn't seem aggressive, but it caught us off guard when we were out walking. But overall, it was a great experience. We definitely need to come back when the weather warms up!

Tony's place was nice for a little weekend getaway with my husband and dog. The home is in the woods but is not secluded. There are many homes close by. The home does have a fenced-in area for a dog. However, there are many other dogs in the neighborhood and one next door that was out for the majority of the time, so it is not the best location for a reactive dog like ours. However, if your dog does not mind others' dogs, it would be fine for them.
As for cleanliness, Tony's place was clean on the inside. However, we ended up not using the hot tub due to it having a weird smell and a lot of gunk floating in it. We were kind of dissaponted in this since this is a reason we ended up going with this home as opposed to other locations. If you are going to have a hot tub, you should ensure it is cleaned regularly.
The home is nicely situated between many attractions for outdoor lovers. We were able to visit Berkley Springs, Cacapon State Park, Winchester, and Harper's Ferry while there.

This Airbnb is in a quiet, wooded area. It allowed for a relaxing weekend. My husband and I brought our reactive dog and were excited to use the fenced in yard, but unfortunately the dog next door was always out so she couldn’t run around. We hiked in Harpers Ferry, which is about a 40 minute drive. The Airbnb was a comfortable fit for our family.

Great place to stay in the area. While it is private and out there, you are not far from Martinsburg, Winchester and so on. We loved our stay and are always grateful when our dog is welcome. Other than a few "harder to do" items, the place is spotless ... especially bathrooms and kitchen. We used the firepit, as well. Too rainy for the hot tub. A little outdoor covered space would be great, but we knew it was not there ... just a suggestion. I would definitely recommend staying here!! We will be back!! We really enjoyed Tony’s cabin and it was a great escape from the city! The cabin was spacious, had lots of natural light, had a well equipped kitchen, a clean hot tub, and everything was so peaceful in the woods!

The house is a great size for up to two couples or a small family. It is in very good condition and has a nice large deck for outdoor entertainment. There is an ample amount of parking which is easy to navigate. It is fairly secluded with privacy outback on the deck. There is also a nice fenced in area for dogs to roam around off-leash. The kitchen is a good size to accommodate cooking a meal along with the necessary utensils which we appreciated. The grill was also in good condition. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our getaway with our dog! The fenced in yard allowed him to run and play around while we were enjoying a bbq or the hot tub! The deck is big and fenced as well! The cabin was very clean and fully equipped. Tony was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions. So, thank you Tony and the blue maple team for a wonderful and relaxing getaway! We enjoyed a quiet few days up in the mountains at Tony's place. Despite the apparent remoteness, it was only a 15-20 minute drive to stores and restaurants. If I ever have to return to this part of the country, I'd be glad to stay here again.

Tony’s place in Gerrardstown is the perfect escape for a couple who want to enjoy some time with nature. The location was perfect for being just far enough away from groceries/town (15 mins) and close to a ton of cool areas. The hot tub was great and everything was just perfect! Our dog absolutely loved it there as well - the fenced in yard was a big one for us in booking this and it didn’t disappoint. Thank you Tony!!

This cabin was wonderful for celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary. It’s a bird lovers paradise, out on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning is highly recommended. The deck was great and we appreciated the gate to keep our dogs safe! The cabin is stylish and comfortable. We would totally stay here again if we are in the area!

We had an incredibly relaxing weekend at Tony’s place. Spotless, quiet, cozy, exactly as described. The cabin has everything you need for an escape from the city. Be sure to pick up groceries before you get here because you won’t want to leave during your stay. Comfy beds, excellent/reliable wifi too. The hot tub is a real bonus!

This place was great!!! It looks small from the outside but it feels way bigger on the inside. We easily fit 4 people & multiple dogs (loved the fenced yard for the dogs!) Tony was very easy to communicate with & always replied to any questions right away. The area was within 30-40 mins of good hiking and some cute small towns with good bars/restaurants, but still remote enough to feel secluded. Unlike many other remote areas there were also a few delivery options which was nice on days we just wanted to hang out at the house. One thing I’d want to make future guests aware of is if you plan to use the hot tub you might want to bring your own towels for it. There were only enough towels provided for showering (at least with 4 of us). I did give Tony this feedback and he said he’d try to change that in the future though so feel free to check with him if you think that will be a need you have. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall it was a nice place. However, I think the water of the hot tub should be changed and cleaned after each guest, which when we went it was very obvious that the water in the hot tub had not been changed for a long time. Because the water is very dirty. But the host had the hot tub cleaned the next day. We couldn't use it the first day but the second day the hot tub was really good. In addition, spare towels, toilet paper, pillows and bed linen should be left at home.

This property was lovely for multiple reasons, including the fall foliage surrounding it, and the comfiness of the cabin itself. What really was the cherry on top was the fully fenced large back yard for our dog as well as a gated deck. We absolutely loved staying at Tony's retreat. It was secluded enough to help us city people relax haha and accessible enough to hikes and activities. The hot tub was a wonderful surprise, too! My husband, myself and our dog spent 4 nights at Tony’s place and we chose it for a number of reasons (majority of them was around having an arthritic dog):
1) we liked the chalet for having a fenced and gated deck
2) fenced backyard
3) a bedroom located in the main level
Of course, we also liked it because it looked very charming and had all the amenities we were looking for.
The place had a stocked kitchen (oil, salt, some spices and even coffee but we took our own). We cooked all our meals there.
Bed had a very, very comfortable mattress (firm) just the way I like it (hubby prefers on the soft side) but you can’t please everyone 😉.
There was shampoo and body wash provided. Bath towels were super soft and thick ones.
We had some questions prior to our check in and Tony was very prompt in getting back to us.
All and all, it was a very nice vacation and we were very pleased to find a place where our dog could join us.
We hope to visit it again in the future.

This is an amazing spot for a getaway! The house was immaculate and the deck and yard were a huge bonus if you like to travel with pets like I do. Tony was incredibly quick and thorough with his responses to all of my questions. I had such a great stay I wanted to extend it, but no surprise it was already fully booked! We booked Tony's spot for a last-minute getaway out of the city, and it didn't disappoint. It's away from everything enough to hear the trees blow in the wind, but close enough to make last minute meals convenient and do anything else that comes up on a whim on vacation. Sadly, it rained most of our trip so we didn't get much use of the firepit or grill, but everything was set up perfectly for us to do so if we'd had the chance. Our dog was thrilled to have a yard to roam in and a big deck for sunbathing (when the clouds cleared!!). Would definitely recommend.

Tony's place was perfect for our July 4th get away. The cabin is greatly spacious with one bedroom upstairs and the other on the main floor. The deck is huge, perfect for your furry friend to lay out in the sun. The cabin's private fenced off yard was the cherry on top, as we got to have a bonfire both nights we stayed. Overall had an amazing experience, I will be saving this cabin for future visits.

Wonderful host & lovely property. Really nice to get away. Fenced in back yard is perfect for letting dogs run around & sniff things out. Porch area is lovely to sit in & relax, looking out at the dense forest. Tony is impeccably responsive, enthusiastic, clear & kind. The area is quiet, safe, and only ~14 mins from a Food Lion, some fast food chains, & gas stations. The place is impeccably clean & there are lots of streaming services available for entertainment. Highly recommend this relaxing, wooded escape.
