Fun, small cabin with a few neighbors near by right off the road.

Had a great time! Clean and nice amenities. Tony was responsive and helpful. Would love to stay again!

We loved the cabin and it's quiet location. As we ventured into Romney we found a few great places to eat and quaint shops. We enjoyed it so much that my wife and I will be back in the fall to enjoy sitting by the fire. I wish it was maybe a little more clear about the trash at first but no big deal

Tony was incredibly responsive, and the house was exactly as described - cozy, comfortable, clean. Our stay was wonderful. Lots of memories to be made in this home.

We had a wonderful stay at Valegetaway! The space is so thoughtfully updated with high ceilings, sun-filled open spaces, and tasteful decoration. It was the perfect, peaceful retreat to unwind. Thank you for hosting us, we would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Onyx House. It was exactly as described in the description and pictures. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit! Our only complaint, which has nothing to do with the house, is that besides hiking, there is very little to do in the area. Places to eat nearby are also very sparse. This doesn’t take away from the house, but is absolutely something to keep in mind!

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Stonehouse. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything we needed. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making the house easy and comfortable for guests. The sheets and towels were especially soft and nice, which I always appreciate.

The location was fantastic. It was super close to Harpers Ferry and right by the river, while still being wonderfully quiet and peaceful. It was a great home base for exploring the area and a relaxing place to come back to at the end of the day.

Communication with the hosts was easy and responsive, and check-in and check-out were simple.

And, an important vacation amenity that may not make the official list: Uber Eats delivers. 😂

The house is great. Love the hot tub and deck. it has everything you need and they are very responsive. The only thing I would note is make sure you realize they have an earlier check out than most.

Loved this house and our stay here! We did have a little bit of trouble finding the house and getting in at first, as the original code provided for the lockboxes wasn't working. Tony was quick to respond when we arrived and let him know of the issue, and was able to get a working code for us within about half an hour. We really appreciated his attentiveness and helpfulness.

If you are looking for a rustic mountain getaway experience and aren't worried about driving a bit further for activities/amenities, this is for you. Be aware that the driveway, while not terribly steep, is very rocky and uneven at parts. There is a bump right at the top of the hill that could be difficult to get over for a smaller vehicle. Highly recommend a car or truck with AWD if possible. The turn right to get out of the driveway as well was tighter than desired, but there was plenty of space further up the road to turn around which is what we did. Overall, we would definitely return!

Great place for a stay-cation away from home! The house was very clean and accommodated all of us comfortably. The downstairs suite of two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds, a full bathroom and a living room was prefect for the family-within-the family. All other bedrooms were nicely appointed and comfortable. There were plenty of dishes and cookware for us to prepare all meals daily. Communication with our host was most efficient via texting. Questions were answered and problems were resolved fastest through text. A few minor things would have made our stay even better: extra bathroom towels and more chairs for the deck, especially since the house has five bedrooms, two chairs are not enough to enjoy the outside space together. Given the opportunity, though, we'd do it all over again in the house!

The house was great! It was family friendly and had everything we needed. It was also really close to a playground which was perfect for our family.

Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The wildfires did make it so we had to stay in the cabin for most of the stay but there was enough to do and it made for a very peaceful stay. When the skies finally cleared, we were able to also enjoy the amazing view, which is why we chose this location. Host was great and was very quick to reply to our messages and answer any questions we had. Would come again.

Tony was an excellent host. Very diligent with reaching out and making sure we were okay. The place was beautiful, absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed all the amenities everyday! Can’t wait to check out his other places. Worth every penny!

Tony was a great host. Very quick to respond to any questions. Very in-depth house manual as well as lots of suggestions for the area. The cottage had plenty for the kids to do as well even on a rain day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
