We loved this house. We loved playing in the snow in the yard, and watching the deer right off the back patio deck. Nice community area, lots of wildlife to see.

This home was warm and comfortable for our winter trip. We felt right at home. We were traveling with our two children and they loved how kid-friendly the home was (bunk beds, books, toys). Everything was as described and Tony’s communication was excellent leading up to and during the stay. We will be back!

My husband and I had a great stay! The place was easy to find, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The host had great communication throughout, which made everything even easier. The home itself is spacious and clean. Temperatures in Fall can fluctuate, but the place stayed perfectly warm at night.
Although we didn’t get a chance to use the resort pool, it looked empty and very inviting. The gym was well-equipped with everything we needed for a good workout.
The neighborhood felt very safe and quiet — perfect for walking our small dog on the resort roads. We even spotted deer in the area and from the front deck.
Overall, it was a short but relaxing trip, and we definitely recommend this place to others!

Tony is a very proactive and communicative host, which made our last minute booking and late arrival very accommodating. The cabin was also very well stocked and we enjoyed our coffee on the beautiful porch. Our pups also liked the basement space, although there was not a great bathroom area for them on the property due to it sitting on a steep hillside.

It was exactly as described. Fully furnished and had everything we needed and then some. Everything was super clean. Tony was very responsive to anything we needed. It was so relaxing and just beautiful. Will definitely be using again sometime in the near future. The lake, the pool, the golf courses, nature trails and hiking was just stunning. It was a perfect stay…. not to mention all the wildlife you see. Thanks again Highly reccomend

Great and peaceful location with wonderful 2nd floor porch. We had beautiful hikes at Swallow Falls State Park, and the Rock Maze in Garrett State Forest–both a short drive into MD. If we had stayed longer, we would have tried the put-put golf and kayak rental.
My only suggestion is that if you plan to cook much bring bigger knives and a big cutting board. For our visit we only found two paring knives and one tiny cutting board. It wasn’t a big deal, just made cooking a big more of challenge. All else in kitchen was worked fine.
Tony, the host, was very responsive and helpful.

I can only say great things about this stay!! Was a little nervous as I’ve never booked with Airbnb before. Tony’s place was more than we could’ve asked for! I was blown away to see there were dog bowls and treats for our pet when we arrived! Check in was super easy and the views were amazing! Definitely enjoyed our stay and plan on booking with Tony again in the future!! Thanks again for a great stay!!

Gladly would come again, my husband loves golf and we were about an hour away from Blackwater falls which was beautiful.
The golf course was great, and very nice. The house being pet friendly was amazing, very clean nice home for a great price. Owners are amazing too, they are very proactive with texting and messages. They also will have an online manual which is super helpful too!
The place around it where you stay is very nice and gated.
We loved it and will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay in WV! The little details like having sound machines in the bedrooms and toys for kids, even a step stool! It may not sound like a big deal but it was for us. Some of the doors are tough to open and close, which we notified Tony about so hopefully those get fixed. The driveway is also tricky since it’s on such a steep hill, so take your time! Overall, an enjoyable stay and great communication from Tony.

Great location. Right outside of Deep Creek Lake with my favorite coffee shop, Traders, 30 minutes away. Swallow falls was a 20/25 minute drive & was absolutely beautiful. Tony was a great host & was checking in to make sure everything went smoothly & it ended up being the perfect long weekend for my son & I. We stayed right after Thanksgiving & the price was very worth it. I definitely recommend staying here.

My friends and I paid for 3 nights, and it was definitely worth the money. Great house, very equipped, beautiful surroundings, stores at reachable distances. Very private, area and cozy. We had access to an inside pool, games, a lifting room all for free. I 100% recommend this place.

The home was just as described in a beautiful location close to Terra Alta. Tony has people managing for him so you don’t actually deal with him but the people who do so are friendly and try to be helpful.
It was quite comfortable and warm and peaceful. We had just two issues – neither of the TVs worked. We dealt with this for two days trying to figure it out and get help from the managers. Turns out they were going to send their handyman who wasn’t available.
My husband finally figured out that someone – one would assume the cleaner or a previous guest – had switched the remotes. (One for downstairs and one for upstairs bedroom). Once we had the correct remote with the correct TV all was well.
The other situation is that we were there in a storm and the
lights flickered several times at night. Only found one candle that worked and a very small flashlight. It would not have been enough.
With those two things fixed it would have been perfect!

Very nice escape from the city and a really well taken care of place that met our needs just for two nights. Everything we needed was there and having the peace and quiet and proximity to nature was nice. We didn’t end up doing local activities but the surround in area of the resort was pretty and the lake too. Would recommend. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Nice house in a very quiet and private neighborhood. I appreciated the ability to bring my dogs with me, they are a big part of our family. Great communication from the host, keeping us updated with arrival and departing instructions. Had a great experience, it was nice to feel like I was coming home to relax or watch a game with the family.

Tony was a great host. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the amenities. I highly recommend his place especially if you have children as he has a good setup. Alpine Lake is really cool and not over crowded whatsoever. We did kayaking, paddleboarding, played on the beach, visited the pool and explored in general. Definitely a hidden gem.

This place was just as described! It had everything my family and I needed (including our dog) for a weekend getaway. The lake was cooler than expected but refreshing and the beach area was clean. Everyone we encountered was pleasant to talk with. We truly enjoyed unplugging (although WiFi was surprisingly strong) and spending quality time with our children. You will encounter bugs and wildlife but we are not exactly city folks so this was not a surprise for us at all. There is a steep hill/parking area and the area for the fire pit was a bit smaller than anticipated but worked well enough for making s’more’s with our girls! Thank you for letting us stay at your place and being so transparent, friendly, and keeping an open line of communication the entire stay.

We liked everything about our stay. The cabin was neat and clean. The beds were comfortable. We had plenty of towels. The only thing that could have been better is that
fire pit needs to bigger. We enjoyed using it but we felt we were a little too close to the fire. Tony is a wonderful host, great communicator. He gave restaurant and activity recommendations. I plan to stay in another one of Tony’s places in the near future.

Tony’s place is located in a gated community with a private lake and golf course. The cabin is on a hill so the driveway is a bit steep to drive. There is a balcony on each level so plenty of outdoor seating area. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, and nice couch area to watch TV. We walked around the alpine lake for a bit and the whole community is peaceful and quiet, and everyone is friendly. Tony is an excellent host – great communication and has excellent local recommendations. Thank you for hosting us and we will be back!

Great price for the area and amenities. The cabin was nice, with great decks, and big enough for 6. The best part was having access to the Alpine Lake Golf Lodge. The lodge self isn’t particularly nice, but has a huge indoor pool that is open late and a beautiful property to walk and other lake activities open during the summer. The bonfire setup wasn’t ideal as the hill around the cabin is very steep, but there is a gas fire on the lower deck. A couple things needed repair, but not urgently dieting or stay. The host was friendly, informative, accommodating, and responsive. We highly recommend for a getaway, and warmer temperatures would make the stay even more enjoyable.

You will not be disappointed with this house. It was secluded, extremely clean, and more than worth the money. We loved Tony’s thoroughness. We had a great stay here with our two kids. The house was spacious and comfortable and was just 30 mins from Wisp where we went snow tubing. The only issue was that the Alpine Lake Resort amenities card was missing from the house so we couldn’t use the pool, but the property managers were proactive and comped us with a late check out since we couldn’t locate it. All in all a very positive experience.

Tony’s place is in a beautiful location & was very clean. It was perfect for a couple quiet, unplugged days! If coming in the winter know that you may have to shovel a good amount & you may want to bring your own salt for the driveway. My all-wheel drive subaru had some trouble.

Tony was fantastic and always so so responsive! It was a great pit stop overnight for us. Would recommend for weekend stay max. We’re on a year long road trip, so we notice a lot when we stop anywhere. So our notes: Kitchen was decently stocked.. short stays perfectly adequate, but may be lacking for longer term stays. No dishwasher or drying rack.. had to be old fashioned. Plenty of towels, blankets, etc. Bathroom shower is dated but worked great. Downstairs couch and TV was the perfect spot to watch a movie! Bed was comfortable! If you’re coming in the fall/winter… the leaves outside are everywhere and you will track plenty of dirt inside.

fire pit needs to bigger. We enjoyed using it but we felt we were a little too close to the fire. Tony is a wonderful host, great communicator. He gave restaurant and activity recommendations. I plan to stay in another one of Tony's places in the near future.

Tony was super responsive from booking to checkout. Whether just a quick “check in” or answering a question. I never waited for an answer. The home was very kid and dog friendly. The photos of the home were spot on! Truly represented the home. Although our stay was short I would certainly stay there again!

Tony was a wonderful host, was very responsive, and provided above and beyond service. The space is just as described, very clean, and a great place for our family of 3 to relax (and even included our pup!) We hope to return soon!

Great home for those searching for privacy and quiet. The home was well equip and very clean upon arrival. Tony was very proactive in providing information regarding the stay. Although I had no issues, I am confident that they would have been swiftly resolved.

Tony’s place is located in a gated community with a private lake and golf course. The cabin is on a hill so the driveway is a bit steep to drive. There is a balcony on each level so plenty of outdoor seating area. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, and nice couch area to watch TV. We walked around the alpine lake for a bit and the whole community is peaceful and quiet, and everyone is friendly. Tony is an excellent host - great communication and has excellent local recommendations. Thank you for hosting us and we will be back!

Great price for the area and amenities. The cabin was nice, with great decks, and big enough for 6. The best part was having access to the Alpine Lake Golf Lodge. The lodge self isn’t particularly nice, but has a huge indoor pool that is open late and a beautiful property to walk and other lake activities open during the summer. The bonfire setup wasn’t ideal as the hill around the cabin is very steep, but there is a gas fire on the lower deck. A couple things needed repair, but not urgently dieting or stay. The host was friendly, informative, accommodating, and responsive. We highly recommend for a getaway, and warmer temperatures would make the stay even more enjoyable.

You will not be disappointed with this house. It was secluded, extremely clean, and more than worth the money. We loved Tony’s thoroughness. We followed some of his recommendations and wished we’d had more time to enjoy a few others. If the opportunity presents itself, we will definitely stay here again.

Tony’s place had everything we needed to include our dogs. The place was extremely homey and loved being able to have a fire. Secluded area with amenities close and deep creek being 20 minutes away. Gladly would stay here again, thanks for everything!

We had a great stay here with our two kids. The house was spacious and comfortable and was just 30 mins from Wisp where we went snow tubing. The only issue was that the Alpine Lake Resort amenities card was missing from the house so we couldn’t use the pool, but the property managers were proactive and comped us with a late check out since we couldn’t locate it. All in all a very positive experience.

This was a perfect little getaway for my little fam.. perfect area close to everything, a lot of memories to be made here! Everything was just how I imagined and would recommend this to anyone I know.. thank you tony and his team for an amazing vacation I never wanted to end!

Tony's place is in a beautiful location & was very clean. It was perfect for a couple quiet, unplugged days! If coming in the winter know that you may have to shovel a good amount & you may want to bring your own salt for the driveway. My all-wheel drive subaru had some trouble.

other than the fact that we had problem with the thermostat changing on its own, and three of the doors not working well or wouldn't completely safe, the location and property was clean and nice. The thermostat after we set it to 71 always overnight or even after a few hours automatically changed back to a much lower temperature and the house became very cold. It just was upsetting about this and the safety features of the home, other than that it would have been a good stay. cleaning fee was on the high side but overall If the host got the doors and thermostat fixed, I would recommend this stay.

Tony was fantastic and always so so responsive! It was a great pit stop overnight for us. Would recommend for weekend stay max. We’re on a year long road trip, so we notice a lot when we stop anywhere. So our notes: Kitchen was decently stocked.. short stays perfectly adequate, but may be lacking for longer term stays. No dishwasher or drying rack.. had to be old fashioned. Plenty of towels, blankets, etc. Bathroom shower is dated but worked great. Downstairs couch and TV was the perfect spot to watch a movie! Bed was comfortable! If you’re coming in the fall/winter… the leaves outside are everywhere and you will track plenty of dirt inside.
