Everything was great about our stay! The house was beautiful and quiet. Tony was very responsive and able to help us if we needed anything. It was in a great location with local golf courses. The pool was big and not crowded. Overall, a perfect stay for us and we highly recommend it.

We have stayed at multiple places and every time it’s just perfect. You could not ask for a better host.

We had a fabulous stay at the Wily Squirrel over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The tree cover and hot tub (ironically) provided a much needed respite from the summer heat. As another reviewer mentioned, the photos don't do it justice; more than enough space for four adults to feel right at home. Tony provided clear instructions and plenty of local recommendations. The family enjoyed the charming town of historic Berkeley Springs (~25 min) and the Cacapon Mountain Brewery. Our adult sons enjoyed kayaking in the Potomac and look forward to exploring some of the other area water options in the future. While we didn't use the community amenities we did pop in at The Woods golf course clubhouse(?) for some World Cup soccer and one of the best hot dogs we've ever had.

The house was beautifully designed and thoughtfully stocked. Tony was an attentive an responsive host. It's definitely an all-seasons escape and we very much look forward to visiting again. Thanks for the memories!

The Yurt was comfortable and in a beautiful spot. Hanging by the fire pit was the best part since you could see all of the mountains surrounding you. The host is also very communicative and responds quickly which can be helpful being in the middle of nowhere. Overall great experience!

Wonderful spot and house! Loved walking onto the golf course to watch the amazing fireworks display!

This was a great spot for our friend group to hang out for a long weekend! We had eight people and could have easily fit more in the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook dinner and breakfast. The best part is the surroundings - you are an hour or two drive from hiking, vineyards, paintball, horseback riding, and the great little town of Berkeley Springs. It truly is gorgeous! The host was very kind and responsive, and I genuinely felt that they wanted to support us having the best possible stay. Thank you!

We had an incredible stay and loved every second of it! Tony was so great at communication and all of the details and descriptions were perfect. An absolutely beautiful home and location for a weekend away with friends! Hoping to be back next year!

Bearplaw was very cozy. The furniture was comfortable. The laundry room was very spacious. If you're short, you have to climb into the bed. But it's very comfortable. We enjoyed our long weekend! I would recommend Tony's Bearplaw. We would stay again!!!!

We stayed in this home (sponsored by Tony’s Blue Maple company) as we have stayed many times in his rental properties. This means, I trust his homes and the people that work there to make my stay top notch & safe. The place was amazingly clean. The beds were very comfortable and fresh. The AC units were working great as we stayed during a very humid and heat wave time 6-29-26 through 7-3-26. It was miserable outside and comfy in the house! We had an issues with the WIFI and took about an hour to fix it but the communication back and forth was timely and excellent. I feel they did ALL to help us correct the issue. The landscape around the house is a mess as lots of huge trees have fallen and some have been cut too. They just lay about. Aesthetically, it would be nice to have these gone but it doesn’t affect the house itself. We never used the hot tub. It was way too hot but it looked inviting. The fire out set up was nice too. Again we did not use this. I would certainly stay here again without blinking an eye! Quaint, comfy, QUIET too…I love that. Thank you so much for sharing this home with us. It was a WONDERFUL pre-birthday vacay.

Was a great stay and a nice place. Some things were needing fixed like the railing near the pool table, some of the pockets on the pole table, and a few of the closet doors not working properly. All in all a great place to stay.

Great place to stay, nice and close to Harpers Ferry.

The cabin is very peaceful and private. we enjoyed the hot tub of course and a big plus to take our dog. we will surely stay again in the future.

Tony was fantastic at communicating and the place was cozy. Felt like being back at summer camp!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was the perfect spot! Peaceful, cozy and absolutely beautiful surroundings. The perfect place to be secluded and reconnect.

What can I say about Tony? Wonderful communicator and easy to deal with! We would def stay again. You won’t go wrong with this private, spectacular site!

Great place if you want to be in downtown Luray.

Positive:
Das Haus war genau das, was ich erwartet hatte. Eine Blockhütte von 1802. urige Einrichtung, alles sehr gemütlich und mit viel Historie.

Negative:
Die Außenanlagen, also Grill-und Feuerplatz waren recht ungepflegt. Da es extrem heiß war, störte mich das nicht wirklich. Der Grill sollte allerdings schon besser funktionieren.
