We had an amazing time at Tony's cute little cabin at Alpine Lake! We especially appreciated that the home was dog-friendly and that we could access resort amenities like the indoor pool, beach, kayak rentals, amazing dog park, and appreciated very much that it was gated and secure. We also really appreciated all the great communications from our host. Tony checked in with us several times and made sure we had all the information we needed! The cabin was well-equipped and had plenty of room for our family of four + 2 hound dogs. My favorite thing was sleeping in the upstairs bedroom with the screened sliding door open and listening to the owls, rustling leaves, and breathing in the cool night air... it was good for our souls! The chairs out by the fire pit weren't as pictured and I wish we would have brought paper plates (most of the dishes were plastic and were a little inconvenient to wash) but other than those two little things, everything was perfect! We'd love to come back to Alpine Lake - just an hour from Morgantown and SO wonderful! When we do, we'll check on Tony's listing first and we also hope to visit some of the other venues where he has properties - the little details like cute decor, cozy blankets, great wi-fi, and streaming TV kept the whole family happy. Thanks again for a much-needed break from life, Tony! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful Cabin! Amazing weekend.

The cabin was absolutely amazing. We had a great time with family and friends. Everything we needed was there. The first cabin we ever been to that even had extra toiletries. The rooms were all comfortable. We had an amazing time at the river and at the fire pit. Would love to come again.

We absolutely loved Tony's cabin - much bigger than it looks in pics! We traveled with two toddlers and the layout of the house is great, we had adults upstairs and kiddos in their own space downstairs. The property is beautiful, fire pit was so much fun. The hot tub was a perfect little add on for a crisp night. Very secluded.

Kitchen accessories are great, alot of pots and pans to choose and layout/open floor plan made it really nice to be able to cook and hang out at the same time. The huge screened in porch was so nice to just relax in as well.

Tony was great, extremely accommodating. We had great contact and conversation and he responds super quick.

If you are toggling between a few choices to stay in WV - choose this one. You won't be disappointed. The house is great.

Enjoyed our stay here! The cabin was beautiful and so was the entire area. Tony is a fantastic host. Very attentive. Offered suggestions on what to do in the area. Quick to get back whenever we had questions. Checked in on us every morning to make sure everything was ok. Very understanding. Would love to come back!

Great stay here! Notable: the lake / I didn't realize at the time of booking that the private beach/lake access is not on the property, but it's a very close drive and it wasn't too crowded even over Labor Day weekend. The lake was great for fishing and swimming (locals had floaties, made me wish I had brought one!).

The host / The host, Tony, is very communicative and has a detailed house guide with information about the location and the surrounding area.

The house, outside / The house was extremely clean, check-in process easy, and super cute with lights lit around. The driveway is a bit steep but we had two SUVs come up and park just fine. Fun to grill! Fire pit was really nice to sit around; we had to stop to get firewood.

The house, inside / The two main bedrooms are equal size and outfitted the same which I appreciated, and the loft with two smaller beds would be super fun for kids. The couch also folds down but it's a little firm. The kitchen is a little limited on cookware and doesn't have tons of leftover ingredients like some AirBnbs do, so be sure to bring what you need. Plenty of serving-ware (dishes, cups, forks etc) though. Definitely stop for groceries on your way in or set aside some time for about an hour round trip run to Food Lion on Martin's. The TV was super fun for a movie night (you can use their Netflix or do Airplay).

Such a fun escape from the city. We had a great time exploring west virgin, hanging out at the brewery and of course s’mores in the back yard at night. Highly suggest this cozy spot for a weekend away! We will be back!

We had a fantastic trip over the Labor Day weekend. The location was great! The fire pit was amazing. A definite must stay for those that like a proximity to nature without necessarily camping.

Great place! Very comfortable and quiet. Would highly recommend for a quick trip away from the city. Tony was a great host. We loved the decor, furniture and quality of mattresses and linens. Kitchen was also very spacious and had all essentials. The spider webs outside the cabin and the rustic exterior added to the charm. Close to civilization in Harpers Ferry and Charles Town yet feels like middle of the forest. Great location!

Tony is an excellent host. We greatly appreciated his prompt, proactive communications and hospitality. We had a great time at the cabin, fishing in the lake and visiting Cacapon State Park. We cooked dinners, played pool, and built a fire in the firepit to roast marshmallows. It was a very fun and relaxing trip for four adults, two kids, and two dogs. The beds are very comfortable too.

tony was great. really nice home and area. nice lake to fish in near by. only trouble was renting a boat to fish in. the resort guy said most are all owned and they have 1 boat that was already on the water. we didnt want to fish off of kayaks.

Tony is a great host. There is ample space in his house for a toddler and a four legged child to play in. We were also provided sheets which is a plus when packing for a family.

Cabin is very clean and decorated with fun, modern furnishings and cheerful art. It is very well-equipped and surrounded by lovely woods. Communication was outstanding! We very much appreciated Tony’s attention to detail. Excellent stay!
