This is a great, well equipped, well kept, lovely vacation spot near to Cacapon Park and Berkeley Springs., with a beautiful Pileated woodpecker sounding out in the woods to welcome us!

We have been vacationing at Chincoteague for 40 years and had great experience with Tony’s place. It was clean well organized and Tony was an excellent at communication.

My stay at Tony’s was super fun and exactly what my husband and I needed for a few days away. Comfortable and clean with clear communication and easy check-in. Would for sure stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay in Harpers Ferry! The location of the house was PERFECT for exploring Harpers Ferry. The house was very nicely decorated- very warm and inviting. We'd love to come back again!

Definitely would stay again. Great location, private, and food isn’t too far away if you need to visit the ole Shop & Save.

Only thing I would bring up is that the house is very loft-like—meaning you can hear what’s going on in all the rooms no matter where you are in the home. We have an infant, so it’s a positive our case.

Also, Tony was very responsive. Check in was a piece of cake. If you’re looking at this place, go on and book it!

It was a very nice little get away! The house is adorable and was very cozy to stay in. The roads get a little twisty and windy around the neighborhood, but it wasn’t too bad.

Good cabin and very accurate especially the part about the gravel driveway area in the snow. We managed but glad I was prepared for it. It’s in a good location and very private. Not so private that it is in the middle of nowhere though. Easy drive into Berkeley springs for dinner also.

This is a beautiful location and with wonderful features such as a huge back deck, private lake/ little beach area, and PET FRIENDLY! We love it when we can have our two dogs tag along without any worries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was just the two of us and our two dogs this time, but there is space for the entire family to join in next time. Check in was very easy and Tony was a great host! It’s an added bonus that the town is very close and there are lots of hikes to enjoy in the area. Great place to simply relax or make a hiking trip out of! Thinking of returning with friends/ family in the future!

Great little cottage style rental. They supply most everything that you need. Both a little front porch and back porch and a little bit of creek right in the back yard. Marsh and wildlife to enjoy walking right out the door. Close to everything, but a nice quiet area. Hosts were great communicators. Just a very short drive down the road for public access to the water. Plus we were able to bring our dogs which is a huge win for us. Enjoyed our short stay!

Waverly Cottage is comfortable and charming. The kitchen is well stocked. The bed was so comfortable!
Tony’s communication is top notch. Fast responses and good tips on having an easy stay.
Restaurants are within short walking distance and Harper’s Ferry was cool to visit off season.

Everything about this cabin and the property was perfect. I took a group of teachers on a well-deserved weekend getaway and training retreat, and they got the relaxation they needed. The cabin was exactly as promised and the property was even better than I had expected. I didn't realize when I booked it that we were only steps away from the river's edge and it made it all the more enjoyable. Sitting on the back porch, listening to the sound of the river flow by was just was we needed to set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional weekend. Thanks for this property. I hope we can stay here again sometime.

Tony’s place was perfect for our getaway. It was very clean and just as described! Tony was a wonderful host and very accommodating. I would 100% stay here again!

overall a great cabin

Cleanliness & Privacy to the T! Make sure you bring plenty of food for your stay, store is 25ish minutes away & bring wood if you plan to have a fire in house and/or outside.

Tony’s place is a clean, quiet escape in a private community in the woods. The lake is located a short drive away, communal access with a pass (like that of a resort). Overall, a great place for catching up with family and friends who love outdoor activities.

We had such a wonderful weekend. The wifi was fast, water was hot, the firepit was so nice. The cabin had so much space. We enjoyed the place even in March, during the off season. Tony checked in on us several times and the style of the place was so enjoyable.

We had a great time at The Robin's nest. It was the perfect place to get away from it all for a few days, reading, cooking, hiking, and relaxing.
