Great getaway spot with everything you need to chill out comfortably in the woods. Tony is a great host, great communicator. Hot tub is the bomb, kitchen well stocked, and all very clean. Very private and not terribly far to town (25 minutes). Enjoy!

Great little house! Perfect location and very clean. This house was a great fit for my family! This is an old house so be sure to read the reviews, historical houses have varying quirks. This one's rooms are small, ceilings are low, some spaces feel cramped (primary bathroom), and floors are not level, but that didn't ruin our experience. The only "full" (3/4) bathroom is located within the main bedroom. The layout of this house wouldn't suit larger families, families with teenagers, or couples traveling together. I've read most of the reviews, the positive reviewers and the negative ones are each accurate, so you can trust them and decide for yourself how the pros and cons weigh out for your particular travel plans and who you are traveling with. (We're a family of 5, our kids' ages are 12, 9, and 7. None of us are large or have mobility issues, and I love historical architecture and so can overlook flaws that might really be a problem for others.) I would highly recommend this house to couples or families similar to mine!

Incredible location in beautiful Harpers Ferry!

Positive:
Incredible location with friendly and helpful neighbors, that allows you to walk to everything in only a few minutes. The house is a very charming and cozy inside. They have a million dollar view from the back balcony of the train tunnel that is unfortunately mostly blocked by the foliage. This would be my one suggestion for improvement, trim the foliage to take advantage of the view. This was our first, but definitely not our last trip to Harpers Ferry and we’ll definitely stay here again when we come back. The host had great communication and the house was spotless when we arrived. Parking is right in front of the house and can accommodate two vehicles. Like some have said, parking is a little tight, but as long as you don’t drive a dually you should be fine!

We loved the seclusion and being on the hillside with the wind in the trees (rain on the roof + super comfy beds was the best). Hot tub was great respite after hiking. Bathroom is nice and private but there are open overhead walls between bedrooms. We had a quick girls trip and made it like a sleepover - very fun little cabin :) Host is excellent with communication and attentive to any needs. We definitely recommend staying at Tony's.

This place is so beautiful! It is so clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location is so gorgeous in the trees with Fall foliage and Tony was a great host. Will definitely book again!

If you want to get away from it all, this is a place for you! The best feature of this cabin is the vista out to the most undeveloped and pin-drop quiet view you can find. The only sounds I heard were that of nature. Sunrises are stunning, no better way to start the day. The cabin is clean and comfortable. Tony is fantastic with communication, always ready to help if needed but we had no issues during our stay. Be sure to bring plenty of firewood if you want to use the firepit by the side of the house, my adult kids really enjoyed sitting around a fire during the evening hours. Our stay was way too short, I hope to return soon.

Cute, quiet, peaceful place for a long weekend getaway. About 20 minutes from the town of Luray and 30 minutes to Shenandoah NP. Bring some books, as the internet definitely is not reliable!

Great place in the woods to get away from it all. All the comforts of home plus more.

Tony and his cabin are absolute gems in the mountain! My group and I visited in the fall where the foliage was absolutely spectacular, the wildlife was abundant, and the stars were gorgeous!

Tony has top-notch communication and was always trying to accommodate us.

Regarding the cabin, there are three levels with a significant amount of space. The large deck was fantastic to grill and chill on!

Berkeley Springs is a gorgeous area replete with parks, trails, and down-home cooking! I am planning to return soon!

Overall, Tony was a 10/10 I would totally recommend!

Tony’s cabin was perfect! It was a cute rustic cabin that way in the PERFECT location - middle of nowhere!! The only thing I regret is not staying longer! It was a great quick getaway trip for me and my son and our dog!

Positive:
The directions to the place were perfect.
The location is very quiet and had plenty of room for our family to spread out.
We loved the fire pit and the wood burning stove!
We enjoyed the ping pong table and hot tub!
Even though we never got around to using the kayaks, we loved that we had the option.
The host easy to get ahold of.

Negative:
The pellet stove downstairs wasn’t working and we couldn’t shut off the upstairs fan because a tenant had broken the chain.

This place is amazing. Nice and cozy and we had a great time. Everything works great, kitchen, TV, outdoor grill & hot tub! Also kids friendly if you wanna bring the whole family for a weekend getaway. Would absolutely recommend!

First I have to say that the placement of this cabin was absolutely perfect. The drive was beautiful and the cabin remote enough to give you some privacy. It was extremely clean and accessible. Tony was amazing and extremely communicative which we appreciate very much. We absolutely loved our stay and here and would give it a 10/10 recommendation for anyone wanting to enjoy nature. It was in the perfect location as well, not too far from a few little towns which had a brewery and Tibbet knobs trailhead which was a beautiful hike and view. We will be coming back!

My friends and I had a lovely time staying at Tony's place. We were there during the fall foliage and enjoyed driving to and from the cabin with the colorful trees surrounding us. the cabin is in a great remote location, but close enough to the nearby cute town. The hot tub was a relaxing activity for a chilly fall evening.

Nice house within walking distance of a lot of Harpers Ferry sites. Tony was very responsive to any communication and the house was comfortable and convenient.

Wonderful spot! Would happily go back again.

Great cottage in the woods! Our kids loved the game room, and all the kid specific stuff (games, bunk beds, kitchen utensils) were much appreciated. Really great remote getaway for peace and quiet. Cell service isn’t great so if you can’t rely on WiFi calling take that into consideration.
