It was awesome! We LOVED our stay and the cabin!

Clean and comfortable - great location!

This beautiful cabin was a perfect place to getaway from the hectic life. Very cozy place. Love the fire pit. Would love to stay again.

We celebrated my mother in law’s 80th bday and the house was amazing. The views, fire pit, hot tubs, and ample space were wonderful. We had a great weekend!

We had a nice stay for a mom and kids fall weekend. The porch and hot tub were great. It felt a little smaller than we expected but still worked for our group. The host was responsive to our questions and let us check in an hour early which helped with naptime.

Great place

It was wonderful that it was pet friendly. The hot tub was great and relaxing. We enjoyed listening to the leaves fall and being in the heart of nature. Given the price and size of the cabin, it might be better suited for larger groups/families. The open concept inside and screened and unscreened wrap-around deck outside made for plenty of entertaining space. The screened-in part of the deck is necessary for keeping the plentiful mosquitoes away. One draw was the game room but it didn't quite live up to the hype. Having said all that, we really did enjoy ourselves and made many happy memories. It was a little pricey, but we would absolutely consider renting it again.

Was very satisfied with the cabin and the service from Tony my only small disappointment was I didn't realize the fireplace had been converted to propane had brought plenty of wood but there was and outside fire pit

We loved the location for the access to the AT and downtown. We walked everywhere! Walking through the old Storer College campus became our evening ritual. The house is a beautiful historic home, with some of the quirks, but it’s cozy and well-stocked for our two night stay.

We had a quiet, peaceful weekend

We were staying in the area with our children for a few days. Our goal was to relax, spend time as a family and explore the area.

The cabin is in a very neat location, surrounded by trees with beautiful leaves this time of year. It was quiet and decently private. There are multiple state parks and other recreational areas within an hour drive. Washington DC is about 2.5 hours, depending on traffic and makes for a great day trip.

The cabin was a little smaller than expected but it had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The shower pressure was great. The kitchen had most of the basics to make a meal.

The firepit was great. The chairs were great.

An outside line to hang dry towels/wet bathing suits would be a great addition. Maybe a picnic table down by the firepit area would make it easier for putting together smores and other campfire foods. I think those would be my only recommendations. Overall, it is a great choice for a fun fall weekend.

Beautiful home, especially the great room and sunroom. Thr common spaces worked well for our small bookclub retreat.

If you are looking for a quiet get away with your partner, I couldn't recommend it more. It is comfortable and quiet with lots of opportunities to connect with nature and one another.
