Overall had a pleasant stay, description matched our room. Liked the kitchenette & common areas. Tony was proactive & responsive. I would recommend, it’s nice & quaint.
Really good place to be for the proximity to the caverns and Shenadoah national park.
Enjoyed our stay, thank you for the hospitality
Great property, quiet, clean, comfortable with everything we needed. The river access was convenient and great to sit outside and enjoy. Close location to access Shenandoah National Park.
I really enjoyed the place.
Stayed second time for work. Very easy to get in and hosts is super responsive.
Positive:
The views are amazing. Hot tub great
Negative:
The only thing I would suggest is having some beach towels in addition to regular towels.
Very cozy and private. We had a wonderful and relaxing evening here. I’m not sure if it was our maps app or the lack of signal but the gps took us a ways up the mountain past the Airbnb. So keep an eye out for the road to turn on when making the climb! Overall a great stay though. Thank you Tony!
Was perfect for an overnight stay close to Skyline Drive and nearby attractions.
Positive:
Nice location, just minutes walk to main street in Luray and short drive to Skyline Drive.
Beautiful view in the fall
Positive:
Beautiful and quiet property
Negative:
Wish the rules for having an animal was posted on booking. My shepherd could never stay in a crate, which was asked to do if we leave.
We enjoyed our stay, very quiet and cozy
We loved our stay at the Stone Cabin Hideaway...it's name says it all. The property was beautiful...quiet, private, and relaxing with a wonderful side porch and an outdoor firepit. Inside, the rustic decor, stone fireplace, and updated kitchen with all of the basics provided for all of the creature comforts. The comfy beds added to our restful stay. Our communication with Tony was friendly, timely, and expedient. We would happily stay here again on a return trip to Berkley Springs.
We had a wonderful stay! The place was very quiet, peaceful, and private, making it the perfect spot to relax and spend quality time together as a family. My wife, our 7-month-old baby, and I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery, amazing views, and nearby trails. It was such a nice getaway from the busy day-to-day routine, and we loved being surrounded by nature. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing escape. We would happily stay here again!
Great place to stay if you have small children. There is a playground right across the street.
Charming as the photos, and curated by discerning owners with good sensibilities. Clean, and well-equipped in case you forget something.
Entry was challenging with a lock box location that was not obvious, coupled with another lock box at the rear entrance with a different undisclosed number made entry a bit frustrating after a long drive. Owner’s representative was relatively responsive. Details of entry can be, and will likely be improved.
The location was ideal for nature lovers because there are so many parks in a short drive. The highlight was a sunny morning walk in the adjacent swamp that had frozen dew in the bogs.
The touches on the interior were noteworthy, and highly evolved from an outdoorsman’s perspective. I would definitely recommend it to anyone if the price were a slightly more reasonable.
The cabin is comfy, private and feels like home.
The view and area is beautiful. I will definitely rebook if I visit the area again.
The cabin is in a nice quiet neighborhood and right on the river. It is a quick drive to "town" and about 20 minutes to Woodstock. The cabin has a rustic feel with great areas for family time including large dining table and game room. We really enjoyed the large yard, fire pit and easy access to the river.
Very remote setting with a little drive to get into town but very nice home and very relaxing. Perfect for getting away and being remote.
Such a beautiful home! Plenty of room for the whole family! We will definitely stay here again! It was perfect for us!
