We had such a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was exactly as described. beautiful, spotless, peaceful, and incredibly serene. The secluded location made it the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of West Virginia. We loved taking advantage of all the amenities the property had to offer, while still being close enough to explore some amazing local spots. We especially enjoyed dining at Proof, visiting the Almost Heaven Swing, hiking to the Paw Paw Tunnel, and relaxing at the Roman Bathhouse in Berkeley Springs. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Such a beautiful little getaway, and we would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful escape! We can’t wait to come back 😊
Excellent visit- highly recommended. Tucked away and truly quiet and secluded. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool table and fire pit. Download the home manual and you will have all the details you need- including directions to make it down the gravel road- which was fun and doable in a 4 door sedan. Home itself is well stocked/thought out, and gives the perfect illusion that it’s your own luxury home in the woods as opposed to other classic stays. It was nice enough that you could enjoy a vacation on the property alone without needed to venture off to see wild life, relax, etc. Lower level game area and outdoors gets chilly for a fall visit, so bring various layers. Town was close by to stock up on the drive in. Passed many animals, farms, etc., overall charming and memorable. Feels luxurious for 2 people, or spacious enough for the whole family/friend group. We had a really fun visit, and aspire to be like Tony in the future! Thankful for the chance to experience it!
Such a cute little getaway in the woods! Very comfy, lots of relaxing happened! The hot tub was a nice place to watch the full moon rise, the little deck perfect for hot coffee in the morning, the couch was comfy for watching tv and snoozing. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean, and stocked full of towels — with a nice hot shower. Everything I needed to recharge! I really enjoyed my stay!
Tony was an exceptional host that communicated well! We loved our stay. Peaceful, cozy and relaxing. Accommodations were superb and so clean! Thankful for coffee/tea selections. Would highly recommend this place.
The location was great. We spent three days hiking Shenandoah National Park, and this location was so convenient. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. It was close to grocery shopping at WalMart. And it was within walking distance/a few minutes driving to restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at Porch+Vine, coffee at Broad Porch, and a few beers listening to live music at the outdoor venue of West Main Market. Although no issues arose, Tony was very responsive to all questions we had.
Overall, a very comfortable stay. Very remote and peaceful setting. A few small things where wear and tear is starting to show - broken blind and chewed up arm chair (likely from previous dog). Tony’s communication was excellent.

My family chose this house to have a laid-back, relaxing, celebration of my Dad turning 70. The house was perfect and had plenty of space for us to spread out. The fire pit was a fun place for us to gather and enjoy the nature. We also enjoyed both sitting rooms! The neigborhood was super quiet and a nice place to walk. We loved getting to bring our dog with us. One of our favorite features was the screened in section of the porch. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air even while it was raining. There was even a heater there to help keep off the October chill! The house was spotless and everything was in excellent condition. Tony was quick with responding to all our questions and messages. Would definitely recommend this house for any stay!
This was our 4th time staying at this home and it was just as clean and beautiful as we remembered. The location overlooking the river was gorgeous and the house was perfectly furnished for our needs. Tony was super responsive and helped us with anything we needed prior to our stay. Then during our stay we did not need to reach out at all because we had everything we needed! The beds and bedding are super comfortable. The couches were very cozy. The outdoor furnishings were spacious and comfortable. And nothing compares to the views! Not to mention there are no city noises at all, just bugs chirping and the sounds of the river. Seriously, this is one of our favorite places to stay. We will be coming back for our next quiet reading retreat!
Beautiful view, quite, and safe. This place deserves more than 5 star. Host very friendly and responsive. My girlfriend enjoyed the staycation and loved the place
The place was nice. Creek right in the front, loved that! Nice fire pit. Wish that some firewood was available on property, but there is a nice place down road that sells wood. Heat worked well in bedrooms, took a little longer in living room but once heated up, was very warm. Tony was very helpful and made sure we didnt have any questions. Nice place. Would stay again.
It was awesome we ask for a special details and they did it at the perfection, I will recommend this place to everyone wants to take a relaxing stay. The host are super friendly and attentive through out our stay. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing ! 10/10 recommend !
Place was awesome, super secluded close enough to a lot of hikes and stores just in case, the place itself was very clean and organized as described and Tony was very good with communication. Highly recommend this spot
I had a wonderful stay at this cozy mountain cabin. The setting was peaceful and scenic, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and everything we needed was there. A perfect getaway — I’d definitely stay again!
We had the best little get away to Tony’s Cabin! The place was exactly what we were looking for. The quiet woods and a nice warm fire, can’t top it!
Tony was extremely responsive and helpful with any and all questions. The local town and hiking were wonderful. We will be back!

Overlook Orchard is an incredible place in an amazing setting, right next to Shenandoah National park. The scenery (especially for us in Autumn) was truly special and the house/luxury wood cabin itself is wonderfully spacious and comfortable. We (family of five with a 5, 3, and 1 year old) had lovely walks in the woods and evenings round the fire pit.
One important comment is that the road up the hill to the house is not a normal road - it is very much a dirt track, and our FWD vehicle did a fair amount of skidding as it toiled up the slope. Definitely get a 4WD vehicle if you plan to stay here. We had amazing dry weather so no real problems in the end, but it could easily get tricky with some rain.
Al in all, an incredible place and Chris (the owner) is a wonderful, kind, and friendly chap - our kids adored being taken around the woods in Chris’ off-road buggy.
