We had such a wonderful trip! We were looking for a relaxing getaway after getting married this past weekend and that is exactly what this place had to offer! We enjoyed all the amenities and relaxed under the stars. We loved exploring the area and went on a few hikes! We were sad to leave and hope to come back in the near future to enjoy Trout Pond in the Summer months.

Beautiful cabin, Tony was responsive and attentive- The tenants before us left a lot of dog hair, and some things to be desired, but we cleaned it up for our boys and still had a really good time! Lovely location and great space.

Tony was a great communicator, resolved minor Wi-Fi confusion quickly, and was incredibly helpful when we left behind a few very important items. The place was pretty sparse, which is helpful when you have young children and is quite large and spacious with plenty of room. The hot tub was clean and comfortable. Will definitely consider staying again if we go back into that area.

This was a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy some quiet time. We loved the hot tub, fireplace and the view the most! Spent an afternoon in Winchester, VA walking around and ate at Bonnie Blues—highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Thanks Tony!

Stayed here march 26-27, the best 1 night trip we’ve done so far this year. The cabin is amazing and it felt like I was a millionaire lol. Everything is in place perfectly so you can just relax. Its basically a whole house is what i’m trying to say. We’ll definitely book this place again when we go visit shenandoah mountain! 😊🤍🤍🤍

Tony’s place felt like what AirBnBs used to be (and should be in my opinion). You’re living in a place that’s clearly someone’s home/personal vacation home and all the quirks that comes with it. It’s not luxury or a wannabe hotel and that’s not what it’s supposed to be. It’s a good quaint place to stay without all the hotel prices and hassle. Only complaint was some of the clearly cut corners on cleaning. My dog’s ball rolled under the couch and it was pretty grumpy under there. There were a couple other things like that.

We had a magical, romantic honeymoon here! Sitting in the hot tub at night with the stars in the sky and the sound of the river in the background was totally unforgettable. We took the path across from the front of the house and walked to Harpers Ferry every day we were here. The indoor and outdoor space at this rental was exactly what we needed. We loved everything about our trip and are already talking about coming back next year for our anniversary.

Overall this place was in a great location to Harpers Ferry lower town and a great value for the ammenities (historic charm, hot tub and fire pit, patio and balcony). Although the road down to the house and one house next to it is easy to miss from the main road and there is a train that goes by, the place was peaceful and like stepping back in time to simpler times. My husband and I came with our two dogs so had the pick of 3 bedrooms, each were thoughtfully furnished and spacious. We opted for one of the upstairs bedrooms that allowed for us to get on the bed from each side. The one thing I noticed while tearing down the bed was black dog hair on the comforter and a black smudge on one of the pillow cases. The pet hair on the comforter looked like it was more embedded in between the fabric then not cleaned. The black smudge also looked like a stain vs fresh, but these details of course matter. This is my only note of improvement as eveeything else was exceptional.

Tony's place was exceptional. It had all the comforts of home and more. The only thing that would have made this even better would have been a hot tub--but I absolutely understand that it needed some repairs, and the warm springs aren't too far away! I will absolutely be back.

Nice to have a yard for the kids to play in. The house includes many yard games. The house is only 20mins from the park but once in the park you have to drive much farther to get to any of the hikes. Did enjoy the family time while we were in the house: bonfire, hot tub, games, foosball, etc

Tony and Management team were very quick and responsive. Rental was Great for R&R. Wish small towns nearby offered little more in regards to eateries/entertainment; most restaurants and cafes were closed (on weekdays too). Travel to Cacapon State Park or horseback riding in VA was 45-70 min drive but owner was up front about distance from things. Those trips were excellent. Berkley Springs nearby was a little disappointing. Really enjoyed sports/fitness center before day started and the hot tub in cool evenings. Fenced yard for dog was plus! Loved different options for keeping cool or warm. Stocked pretty good in kitchen: could add measuring cups. Easy to work grill and there was even a backup propane tank! House in general is very nice. I think cleaning person(s) need to pay attention to some details: dirty socks left from previous guest, cleaning mop and supplies left out, dust under things. Neighborhood (during March at least) was quiet, peaceful, and very low car traffic.

This beautiful home was a lot of fun to stay at. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, pots, plates, cups, etc. Overall, the cabin was cleaned well and maintained nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and loved the surrounding areas. One thing to note is that the staircase to the loft area is on the narrow/skinny side and is steeper than a normal staircase, making it a little tricky/sketchy going up and down, especially at night. Beds were comfortable, and the towels and other linens were nice, clean,n and free of stains/smells. If we return to this area, we will definitely stay here again.

Very lovely cabin , lovely space. Went out for my girlfriend’s birthday for the weekend with my 2 dogs never seen them so happy being out in the mountains. My husky loved waking up to the sunrise also seeing the sunset was very amazing to see her happy. Very peaceful and loved the hot tub. Recommend this place very much , oh also was a bit scary driving up the mountain for the first time ! very high lol

Beautiful, spotless, cozy, comfortable home. The A-frame structure of the house was a wonderful place to watch a thunderstorm roll through. The hot tub was clean and comfortable, and the street was fairly quiet. I wish I would have looked up the location on GPS, though. I can imagine this isn't a problem during the late spring/summer/fall when there are leaves on the trees, but because the trees were bare (we visited in mid March), we were in full view of every neighbor around us. We were hoping for a secluded cabin in the woods with enough privacy to enjoy the hot tub, but that was not the case unfortunately. Again, I can imagine this isn't as much of a problem when leaves are on the trees. This isn't a ding on the host - he was a wonderful and attentive host - but I would just like others to be aware if you're wanting to visit during the winter. Harpers Ferry is not far from here and is a nice place to spend the day.

We had a great time at the cottage. We were only disappointed that we could not turn on the tv to relax and watch a movie in the evening. The remote control was missing and there was no other way to turn it on. The hot tub was beautiful and the area was quiet and special
