Gretchen is a lovely host with a lovely home! Condo had EVERYTHING you could possibly need!! From hygiene products, razors to wine stoppers, Gretchen had it! Superior easy check in/out instructions. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better host. She was extremely responsive and flexible, which made everything easy from start to finish.
The condo was fully stocked and very thoughtfully prepared, she even made sure a snow shovel and salt were available, which we really appreciated given the weather. We didn’t end up using the fireplace, but firewood and tinder were ready to go. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well set up, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.
The location was perfect: a short drive to the ski resort, with great amenities close by like Barrel & Burn and a convenient nearby store. The place itself was warm and cozy with a lovely view.
We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Amazing Airbnb Stay! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb and I truly cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The space was incredibly clean, and felt so warm and welcoming.
The host was outstanding — very responsive, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in was smooth and easy.
The location was also perfect — Whether you’re visiting for relaxation or adventure, this place is ideal.
I would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This is a gem and I’m so glad I found it! I thought it was an amazing value for the price! Yes it is small, but it is ideal for a solo traveler like me! Excellent temperature control, amazing shower pressure, 2 TVs with Roku, a deck overlooking a gorgeous sunset, a bed that is very comfortable, a fireplace, and well stocked with everything you need. The surrounding area is beautiful, with parking right out front. I loved this cozy peaceful space and will definitely be back! Also, Gretchen is a wonderful and responsive host!

We had a great weekend away at Gretchen’s place. Gretchen was responsive and flexible to work with our scheduling. The place was as described and was quiet and clean. The directions to the unit were clear. We enjoyed the lake right down the road for some fishing and had a friendly bite to eat at the local restaurant.

What a wonderful getaway. Love Basye. Right next to a gas station that has anything you need. Pales Brewery that has great beers and Detroit style pizza! Ice cream shop nextdoor too thar is open. Laura Lake which I love but you do have to drive. Super short drive. Lots of people kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming and fishing. I walked around the lake. Always peaceful and pleasant. Gretchen was very communicative and super helpful w check in and out instructions. Coffee, olive oil, qtips, floss, she’s thought of it all!! Thank you!! Highly recommend for solo or couples. Nice balcony too where I sat and read for a bit.

Let me just say I loved the place… The views of the mountains were amazing. It rained for most of my stay but I had no problem going or staying in and chilling and relaxing. I will definitely book again.

What a wonderful, peaceful, clean little space! I stayed here while working at a camp down the road at Shrine Mont. It was close to the campus but gave me such a comfortable, restful experience away at night. Cozy and lovely.
Also grateful for flexibility at check-in.
Hope to be back next summer!

I had a really lovely stay at Gretchen’s place! The location was great and made it easy to get around, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout, with quick replies and very accommodating. The space itself was comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip.
One small note: the shower area could have used a bit more attention on cleaning before check-in — nothing major, just something worth mentioning for the future.

Gretchen was a great host! Communicate was friendly & kind, and she was very generous with checkin/checkout times. The location of her place is perfect! We loved the brewery right down the hill, and enjoyed great hikes nearby, and some time walking at Lake Laura and Bryce Resort, which are both easy walking distance. Such a great weekend spot!

As soon as I walked in, I could tell Gretchen put so much thought and care into every detail of this place. From the beautiful décor to the thoughtful touches like popcorn, games, hot chocolate, framed art, and books, everything was inviting and well put together. The space was not only charming but also spotless. I truly had a wonderful time staying here.

Wonderful stay in Bayse at Gretchen’s condo. It was clean and very welcoming being warm, open, and inviting. Bed/mattress was great. Place is walkable to nearby restaurant. The small complex is quiet and the view is nice.

It was a great getaway for us
It was the celebration of my girlfriends birthday The place is nice It look better in person to me The area had a power outage on our last day which was my girlfriends birthday We lost a whole day After the power went out It started raining I would suggest bringing a portable charger and a flashlight The one on hand would not stay on It did work but did not stay on The place do have a fireplace
As described the bed room is on the small side but the bed is comfortable just not a lot of room to move around in The shower is tight also but that water pressure is awesome it will blast you right out the shower if you not careful lol
Over all it is a nice place People are friendly
They don’t call it the Hills for nothing lol

The only problem we had we arrived in dark, I now know where it is when returning. We felt very safe, neighbors were very helpful when asked questions. Very cozy we were very comfortable. I did have issues connecting to WiFi but we usually only in room to grab a meal and sleep. My husband and I are unstable on our feet so take it slow when arriving in dark handrails very helpful. Very close to our stepdaughter who lives on road below. Way better than a hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Gretchen’s place. Lake Laura is great for walks and the surrounding area has plenty of interesting sites/hikes on offer. Her place was comfortable and clean and had everything I needed for a weeklong stay.
