Great rental home, exactly as advertised! Very clean and comfortable, lots of cookware and kitchen supplies, and a great screened in back porch! Host was very easy to communicate with!

Very solid place and location on the island. AC works great in the heat and humidity! Only setback was the mosquitos can swarm, of course nothing that can really be done about that this time of year. Hard to use the yard or let the dogs out certain times of day. Otherwise great stay.
This place is super cute and very close to nature! People looking for some getaway away from phones and close to nature, This is the place. Our two dogs really enjoyed the place as we did. The house is as displayed in the pictures. Tony was super responsive and very helpful. It has everything one can wish to say as home. Will be coming again.
Awesome cabin in a beautiful area! It is definitely worth the trip. The views are gorgeous and the town of Berkeley Springs is very friendly and cozy. It was never a problem to reach Tony throughout the days before and during the trip. The cabin is as clean as the pictures show and the cabin community offers a lot. It was a fun and relaxing trip for my friends and I!

We had a great two nights at this WV cabin. The rooms are very spacious and the house was very clean. Everything was in good working condition. We loved exploring Cacapon State Park and Harpers Ferry.
Tony is a fantastic host and is great in terms of always keeping in communication. You can’t go wrong with any of his Airbnb’s, and this is no exception!
This is a great choice for a cabin in the woods experience (with gated entry, so it’s a private neighborhood!). There are plenty of beds for a bunch of people to stay. This Airbnb is dog friendly so of course we had to bring our dog, who enjoyed his stay with us! The amenities are fantastic- the hot tub, the fire pit, the grill, and the private access to river with 2 single-occupancy kayaks and 2 paddle boards! Note that the river is about a 5-minute drive from the house, depending on how fast you drive.
Make sure you understand the check-in instructions and to screenshot them before you get to the house, as there is little to no service in the area.
Consistent with other reviewers, be aware that this house is a bit on the older side. The furniture and house itself could use an upgrade. Be sure to bring bug repellant because you are basically living in the forest, as expected for this quiet getaway in the woods!

Huge house, plenty of space to play hide and seek with the kids. Since i love to cook and bake, i love the open space the kitchen gave me however The oven and grill has to cleaned. Can get pretty hot in the house so bring a fan. The area has multiple hiking trails you can explore.
Staying at the Nut House was such a lovely experience! The only con was that on the directions, the lockbox code is different than the one in the manual, which is the actual code, so this should be changed. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and watched quite a bit of Harry Potter on the downstairs TV! Tony was also very quick with responding to my questions, and gave great suggestions on places to go. Thank you for have an off-the-grid space for us to relax in.
I really enjoyed my visit! The house was beautiful and very clean, the location was great and Tony was fantastic with communication. Would definitely stay again!

This cottage was perfect for our family with 4 kids. There was plenty of space, and fun nooks to eat or watch the sunset. We had a campfire, with the wood provided, and the linens and towels provided were clean and comfy. Everything was ready to go for us! We’ll be back.

Nice homey cabin with a/c and full kitchen. Hostess very accommodating and helpful. Quick to respond to all my questions. You will have neighbors on both sides and they were occupied while we were there. Cabins are spaced far enough apart that it wasn’t an issue.We had a great time!
Huge space for our family of 4...perfect for lots of hide and seek games :) Highly recommend!
Gorgeous cabin in a quiet setting. We loved our stay and highly recommend it. More than enough space for the entire family! Very convenient to get to town and near by attractions!

This was a great space for some time away - only wish we could have stayed longer! Tony was a helpful, communicative host (with some great local recommendations!) and the space was great for people looking to spread out (plenty of nooks for reading, working, etc.)
