I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only is this the only listing I saw on the island where towels and sheets were included, but all three bedrooms were good-sized and comfortable. I imagine this spot is good for families because there is a dining room table and an eat-in kitchen. There’s also a great dining area on the back porch when the weather is warm! The backyard was amazing; I’m just bummed that the weather didn’t cooperate with us having a fire in the fire pit.

We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Chincoteague! It’s the perfect quiet, cozy spot for a relaxing vacation, but close enough to all the restaurants and sites in town. The hosts also left thoughtful restaurant recommendations for us!

Great little home by the sea. Close to the park and downtown. Would stay here again!!!!!

We arrived to the cabin without issues and the provided instructions to find it were very clear. The place was homey and welcoming with lots of space to relax. In general, we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and we had plenty of lounge space to eat and relax afterwards. The couches and lounge furniture were comfortable, and the dining table was great for our group of 9 to eat all together. The fire pit outside was a nice add on! Especially at night when the temperature was a little chillier. The only downside is that we had to go back to the store (30min drive) to get our own wood.

During our stay, there were a couple of minor mishaps that were out of our host’s control; we lost power for about 7 hours, which also stopped the water supply given that it’s dependent on a pump. Tony was quick to respond to our texts during this time to provide updates of the situation, but we had to just wait it out. Although we had no cellphone service, there was a phone in the cabin that we could use. Luckily it got resolved the same day.

It's a spacious little house a super short drive from everything--downtown, the park, restaurants--and would be great for a family or group of friends visiting. Heaters in the bathrooms were so so nice for hot showers/bath after being out in nature on a rainy windy March day! Firepit-dish was a nice excuse to hang out at night by the creek, which also was full of birdsongs in the morning, very relaxing. Tony was always (remotely) available and communicative.

Tony’s got a great spot to get away from it all! It’s quiet and secluded and the hot tub is perfect for easing your sore muscles after a good hike. The fire pit made for a relaxing evening, too. There’s tons of trails nearby and it’s not far from Berkeley Springs which has a cute downtown and a couple of great restaurants.

Also, if you absolutely need the WiFi, the signal in the house and even surrounding it is great. But, this is a great spot to disconnect from the world of you need to do so.

Spent a long weekend at the cottage with two friends all in need of a relaxing getaway and that's just what the space gave us. The cottage was incredibly clean and spacious with multiple common spaces and porches, there's enough space for a family or small group of friends to be together but also retreat to a room of their own. It also gave us some of the feelings of isolation without being completely isolated, there are neighboors nearby but the street is incredibly quiet and the sounds of nature around are what you here. The creek in the backyard is beautiful to sit by in the morning sun. I highly reccomend checking this place out, great hiking nearby, wild ponnies!! , salt marsh, all sorts of things to check out. Hosts were also very friendly and communicative, they checked in to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay, definitely would like to come again!

Tony's place was very clean and had quick access to everything in town. The place was very dog friendly, and Tony always was quick to respond to any questions. The space is very relaxing, and offers multiple areas to just sit and enjoy the views and unwind. We're very happy with our stay here!

Great Stay

Just returned from a long weekend at this Riverfront cabin.

Everything was just as advertised, and it made for a great few days with 6 adults and 4 young kids (5-8yr). The house was sized well enough for everyone.

Cabin was well kept and very comfortable, with plenty of seating inside and out, large back "yard" to run around on the way to the river, maybe 100-150 yards from the rear of the house. Not too far back out to Maurertown proper for supplies. Would recommend and stay in again.

Tony's place on Chincoteague Island is a fantastic spot to get away for a weekend or longer if you can swing it. Tony is very responsive and happy to provide whatever help he can. I can't wait to book again!

Huge cabin, fantastic value! The space was even nicer than we expected based on the pictures, with all the amenities we could ask for. It felt like an outrageously large and luxurious space for our small family of three—We talked about how great it would be to come back with family and friends. Everything was very comfortable and clean, and communication was quick and clear. We had fun exploring Berkeley Springs and took a side trip to Harpers Ferry.

Absolutely a homey and cozy cottage! Great backyard if you dogs and awesome sunroom/deck :) The area is extremely serene. Just what you need to wind down.

Tony was an amazing host. Very communicative and wanted to ensure that my friends and I had a good time. The cabin was amazing and in a great location. Would definitely head back to this cabin again.

Tony's place is very cute, and was a nice home base for our winter beach trip with an energetic 2 year old and a large pup! We enjoyed the banquette seating in the kitchen, and found all the supplies needed to cook several meals. Tony provided a ton of suggestions for outdoor activities in the Chincoteague area, and the restaurant recommendations were spot on (for what was open). Additionally, we could tell that the house was meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival! We'd definitely stay here again, but would suggest an update to the master bedroom mattress.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is tucked away in a wooded area which left a lot to be explored by my son. The screened in porch was fabulous and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay at Tony’s cabin was perfect. He was very responsive and always there when we needed him. The cabin was cozy and had more the enough room for our group of 9. We spent our stay enjoying the scenery around the cabin, going in and out of the hot tub, and relaxing around the warm furnace. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cozy relaxing time in the mountains.

Tony was an excellent host! Communicates well and is super helpful. We had a nice stay and enjoyed using the kitchen and the outdoor patio deck- which has a nice view of the sunrise and sunset this time of year.

This was our first trip since the start of our pandemic and we could not have chosen a better place for our getaway. The house is charming but also modern and updated; it was sparkling clean and neat; and it had everything we could need and more. Our two young kids adored the house, especially all the great hide and seek spots and the children’s books on the shelf. The host is fantastic — proactively checked in and was responsive to questions. The house is very easy to get to and in a great location. Even in the freezing winter, we had a blast in Chincoteague and look forward to returning!
