Great place for a family get away! The description of the place was surprisingly very accurate. We loved the hot tub and it can definitely comfortably fit 6 people. The drive to the river was ~3 mins with great kayaks / paddle boards to use. Plenty of room outside the 3 bedrooms for additional people to sleep. We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch, which is amazing. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed over one night in this charming cabin, even got to enjoy a dip in the lake before thunderstorm & tornado warnings in the area! Unfortunately that meant we could not utilize the fire pit, but luckily the nastier weather stayed north of us & it was just a peaceful rainy night at the lake! The beds were comfortable & the AC wall units kept the cabin a nice temperature. It was nice to be able to refresh our cross-country road trip laundry, plus we enjoyed all the small touches & amenities throughout. We pretty much had everything we needed & wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy more of the lake and outdoor activities. This is a WV wooded area, so of course the bugs are plenty…but everything in the cabin was clean & fresh. Tony’s communication & instructions were excellent, even later when reporting a lost item that we thought we left behind in the fridge, that has so far not been found:( So, for future stays…if any of you happen to find a teal hydro flask water bottle with a bunch of stickers on it, please reach out to Tony, we would love to be reunited with it as it’s a sentimental item to us!

We enjoyed our family time together eating, playing games, and just talking. The town of Berkeley Springs is a cute little town and we enjoyed the pool in the community. Our day of hiking at Cacapon State Park was very nice too!

Our family loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed for our short stay, and was comfortable and pleasant. We loved the nearby creek and the beauty of being in nature. Tony is an excellent host with prompt and helpful communication. We’d stay here again/recommend to friends!

Very nice for quiet family time

Positive:
Charmin and convenient location to local attractions, cosy rooms, appliances and furnishings, cleanliness, responsive host. Very quiet getaway.

Negative:
Driveway was not clearly marked, outdoor lighting around cabin and clearing of woods and driveway around cabin needs improvement. No wi-fi or TV.

Wonderful location for hiking and use of facilities at Cacapon State Park and very comfortable house

Negative:
From the picture we thought the house was right on the lake not across the street. It was still a very nice view.

Our stay at the cabin was great and relaxing as it was so very quite for the most part. The couch is not comfortable and you cannot sign into your streaming accounts on the TV. The steps to the house are long and steep and this caused some issues for someone with asthma during a humid week. Tony was VERY receptive to inquiries and always responded quickly. In fact, he took the initiative to suggest places to go without being asked. All in all, it was a great escape from the busy city of Philadelphia. The quiet mountains and nice people in the community were exactly what was needed to reset. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your cabin! We hope to be back to the area soon!

We had a great weekend stay! This is an excellent location if you want privacy and to enjoy the outdoors, very close access to river activities. The hot tub was very nice too!

Nice stay, but the listing needs clarification: This house is good for 2 couples and 2 singles/kids max; there are 2 queens and 2 twin beds only (not doubles as listed). There are 2 bedrooms and an open loft area. The private beach/lake in the listing is 15min walk (0.7miles) to the community Alpine Lake Boat Dock and Picnic Spot.

This was our second time staying at one of Tony’s properties and we were not disappointed! The cabin was a good size and the location was great. It was not too far from town, but we didn’t want to leave once we were there.

This was our first visit to WV coming from the Hampton Roads area of VA. We decided on this property because of the proximity of public access to a creek. We spent a lot of time enjoying the shade and cool water hunting for crawdads and fossils. The interior of the home is very inviting and home like, with a stove, microwave and fridge and plenty of space to sleep for a family of 4. The bluetooth speaker was a special touch since we always have music playing. We loved that this property was pet friendly, since we could not imagine boarding our dog while on a family vacation. Berkeley Springs is a cute little town, and there is plenty of exploring to do nearby in Capacon State Park including a beautiful overlook with Instagram worthy views. We saw so many deer and left this spot feeling connected with nature and proud we got to share the joy of crawdad fishing with our kids. Thank you, Tony, for allowing our family to use your space this summer!

A wonderful cabin! Tony is a fantastic host and the property is gorgeous. The cabin is close to the river and is close to Berkeley Springs. A perfect location.

Tony has stocked the cabin with everything one might need for a weekend or long getaway.

Thank you!!

The cabin is well equipped and clean. The view from the den and the front porch is breathtaking, especially at sunset. As you enjoy your coffee in the morning, you can watch big birds gliding in the sky as the air current is against the mountain. On the way to the place before the church, there is a small store selling fruit and some vegetables; If I remember correctly, it was called "Smiths." We enjoyed stopping by and buying delicious peaches there. I also had a pleasant and short conversation with the lady owner, who said she was selling the produce grown by his son.

Very nice small house sooo close to everything there is to see and do in quaint Harpers Ferry lower town. (Maybe a little too close for light sleepers as the train line is very active!). House was clean and pleasant, it got a little tight with four of us from 17 to senior citizen in the place; it is not palatial but built to 1800s typical smaller standards. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a LOVELY stay. Everything is newly installed/renovated. The hot tub was a big plus! The bed, pillows, and sheets were really cozy. The AC worked great in hot July. Tons of dishes and kitchen tools for you to use. Communication via text and the guidebook provided were very clear on rules and local recommendations.
If you're looking for a quiet stay, I did not see one car drive by. It was very peaceful, private, super clean, and had everything I needed! GREAT stay!

Had a great time at Tony's Cabin. It had all the essentials, and super thankful it was both clean and dog-friendly. Would recommend!
