Tony was over the top accommodating. We drove 3 hours on a whim booking, only to have a family emergency and have to drive home in the same day. He was so understanding and helpful.

Extremely peaceful and clean!

Tony was very responsive and flexible. Instructions were very clear, and the place was lovely.

Really nice cabin-quiet, clean, and lovely hot tub. Went in December so it was a bit chilly but the wood stove worked really well.

Our experience was absolutely amazing!! The home is extremely clean and very well kept, the host is amazing and has very clear, friendly communication! Would definitely stay here again, actually we are hoping to next year! Would recommend staying here for sure!!!

We enjoyed our short stay in this well-equipped mountain home. The wood stove and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after exploring the quaint town of Berkeley Springs nearby.

We loved our weekend at Tony’s place. It was a great little getaway from DC for us, our dogs, and our baby. Very comfortable cabin and Tony was an excellent and very communicative host. We’d definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tony's quiet cabin in woods. He was very responsive with checkin/out and with answering any questions. It was exactly the atmosphere we needed to decompress from work life. The beds, bath, and kitchen were clean, safe, and functional. The carpet in the rooms was very comfortable and soft. Since it was only 2 of us and a mature pup, we did not have a need to use the basement. While we meant to use the hot tub and fire pit we never got around to it after always being tired from our daytime adventures on trail and/or shopping at town trinket stores. Walking the backyard and staring out across the landscape early in the morning was probably one of my favorite parts about the cabin. To enjoy the fresh, quiet, crisp and calm air was perfect.
I did offer a few suggestions for future consideration with the main one being a bag of salt or tread grips for the steps.
Overall all the 3 of us enjoyed our stay at Tony's cabin and found the peace we were looking for.

We, including my good boy Charles, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was pristine, comfortable beds, very peaceful surroundings, the firepit was great as well. Perfect pet friendly stay. Not too far from Shenandoah state park and skyline drive, which is also great.

Our stay was good. A few things was needing to be discussed & Tony was very great to communicate the concerns with. Great host to deal with!

The Mathias, WV AirBNB that Tony hosted was absolutely spectacular! The views and drive up to the cabin is so special. I saw a bald eagle soaring above the mountains terrain, a huge buck crossing the road and a hawk perched on a tree surveying the landscape. Arriving to the cabin is easy and efficient with clear instructions, Tony made me feel like any communication between us was of the utmost importance and I felt very confident if I had any issues he would communicate with me immediately. The cabin is very spacious and uniquely charming with absolutely everything you could need for a fun filled adventure. All the amenities are very high quality, I had a great time playing GIANT connect four and laughing the day away in the hot tub! I would highly recommend this stay to anyone and cannot wait to go back to wild and wonderful West Virginia :)

Positive: A quiet and peaceful dog friendly retreat... with a couple exceptions. The cabin and amenities were as advertised. The place was neat and cozy. Bedding and towels were fresh and soft, and the beds were comfortable. The internet worked well and wifi was easy to connect to. Despite being the 'middle of nowhere' in WV, we had no trouble finding the place, or getting to it.

Negative: The cleaning fee felt like a slap in the face after noticing every dish and utensil looked and felt dirty, as did the hot tub. The hot tub was the main attraction for us, and was just disappointing. In addition to debris that had to be cleaned from the tub before use, the jets had less pressure than a garden hose and we did not enjoy the experience nearly as much as we had hoped. Lastly, the shower head was terrible... it is a small thing, but makes a huge difference.

Beautiful place in a beautiful space. Easy-going and refreshing.

Lovely location, very helpful host, had a great weekend.
