Wonderful stay for a getaway to the mountains! We went in the winter and it was relaxing, cozy, and full of entertainment! The house is full of games and has everything you would need. The lake is so close and the hot tub is amazing. The host is always available! And the place is pet friendly which is always plus for us as we love to travel with our fur babies.

Perfect spot for a getaway with our two active pups! We very much enjoyed our hikes through the woods with scenic views, time outside at the convenient fire pit, and relaxing in the cabin by the fire. The cabin is an incredibly quaint and charming structure, with its beautiful wooden A-frame, expansive windows, and spacious and functional porch. The inside of the cabin is efficient yet open, allowing for cozy and comfortable living for the two of us (+ two dogs) for a few nights. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some of our favorite meals and make our favorite drinks ;) Though, worth noting that expectations of spotlessness should be managed given the rustic nature of this being a cabin in the woods. Most significantly, Tony is a fantastic host! He was welcoming, responsive, generous, and flexible with our last minute requests about check-in time or extending our stay. We would definitely consider returning in the future if Tony would have us!

Had a girls weekend getaway and Tony’s cabin was just the right place to unwind, relax, and catch up. The place was clean and in a peaceful location. Hot tub was a highlight! Definitely on my wishlist for summer bookings!

We enjoyed our stay very much! Great if you have kids. There were tons of games and activities. The place was very cute and comfy! The kitchen amenities were very nice. The hot tub was awesome. We enjoyed the wood stove very much.

Our family had a wonderful time at Tony's hideaway in the hills. It was very peaceful and quiet. The stars at night were amazing, especially when you view them from the hot tub. Enjoy curling up near the woodburning stove with a good book or movie. The kitchen is where I spent much of my time unless I was by the grill. Lot's of day tripping exploration to be done around Tony's place. Check it out for yourself!

we loved our stay here. it was a nice little getaway from reality and just be present kind of place. we may even come back eventually!

We really enjoyed our stay. We are working in the area and this place was a short walk away and felt like a home.

Very cozy place

Tony was amazing at communicating and very responsive to my questions and concerns. The driving directions were spot on and everything was very clean when we arrived. Will definitely stay at one of his properties in the future. Love the outside hot tub and wood burning stove in the cabin. Very modern and updated on the inside. Wish the weather was better to use the fire pit outside but started out with a very rainy day. We recommend highly.

We had a great time!

Tony was a great host to work with. He was very responsive and proactive about reaching out for any issues or recommendations. Thankfully it was smooth sailing so we didn't really need to get in touch. The location of the house was great for getting to Luray (15 minutes), Duncan Knob (20 mins), and some good restaurants. Wish we had stayed longer and been able to do more walking around town. The house isn't in the middle of nowhere- there are house on most sides- but it felt private enough that you could relax and unwind. It seemed like they're in the middle of updating the house (especially the bathrooms) but the rest of the house was clean and very modern feeling. We spent a lot of time at the dining room table playing games and doing Mad Libs which was provided. The hot tub was the only outdoor amenity we used and boy was it awesome to star gaze. Overall a very positive experience!

Absolutely perfect! Tony is very responsive and checked in when appropriate. The cabin is comfy and felt like home right away. Dog friendly cabin design with a private backyard and screened in porch - a great first vacation for our two pups. The hot tub was clean and worked great. Tony even left us a few drinks in the fridge. He had great recommendations for things to do just a short drive away. The neighbor rooster crowing was an adorable touch. We will definitely book again!

Truly the getaway we needed to start 2023 off right. The location is pretty secluded hidden in its own little Forrest. Being able to start a wooded fire added to the coziness of the home. The town close by Berkeley Springs has such an incredible little town. The coffee shop Fairfax coffee was the best stop in the morning. Ps the homemade scratch biscuits were like right out of grandma’s kitchen. Hope to come back to visit again. Thanks you so much for opening your home.

Excellent little orange cabin. Worked perfect for our spontaneous weekend getaway with the kids. The cabin was very clean and felt very comfortable to relax in. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed to make a couple meals for our family.

This is wonderful place, especially for a family or friend group. Spacious and cozy! There was a little issue with the cleaning crew but Tony was great. Very responsive, communicative and helpful.
