We had such a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and peaceful, making it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Everything was comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time there. Tony was an exceptional host. The Yurt was spotless, comfortable, and beautiful. We took all his advice on dining, hiking and local attractions. Our trip was focused on seeing the fall leaves , which were particularly awesome. We did try out the hot tub and were surprised with a star gazing addition to our trip that was totally unexpected. The fire pit and hot tub were the amenities that drew us to this house- it is otherwise very basic, but very clean. It is not near anything and we were fine with that!
We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful mountain retreat in Shenandoah! The property was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities our family could need. It was a lovely place for three generations of our family to spend quality time together, relax, and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the mountains. We particularly enjoyed the use of the hot tub and fire pit. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing family getaway. We would love to return!
Very relaxing location. Private pond is on site, however it is hard to see from the cabin and very difficult to get to. Once you do get to the pond, there is standing room for maybe one person and the picnic table is hidden in brush and bamboo. The pond is not a feature that can really be enjoyed. Otherwise the cabin was as avertised and a great place to relax and take in the beauty of fall.

This cabin is the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Do a puzzle, make s’mores, enjoy the stars on a clear night, sit in front of the wood stove and read or journal. The area is gorgeous and you can feel the history here. It was a snug and lovely little visit.
The view was so beautiful and house was comfortable it felt like home right away.
What an amazing getaway with my husband and dog! The house and property were exactly what we needed to unwind,. The changing fall leaves and spectacular views were breathtaking.
When we arrived, fresh-picked apples from the orchard were waiting for us. The trails right on the property and the orchard itself were absolutely stunning.
We were also so happy we got a chance to meet Chris, the owner, who took the time to talk with us and share the history of the property. We will definitely be back!
If you are looking for a peaceful space to reset and unplug, this is it!

This place was truly an escape away from traffic, noise, lights, you name it. I haven't seen so many stars in the sky since I was a kid. The house was spotless and very cozy, with everything we needed to prepare meals. We didn't need to leave the cabin for the entire weekend, and it was great. Thanks Tony, your description of this place is highly accurate and we weren't disappointed what so ever.

Overall the stay was nice however you are traveling a far way out from surroundings. The house is down long gravel roads so consider that before driving! The house is cute although smaller than it appears in some photos!

Great location with amazing views, especially during the fall with the changing foliage. Great for big groups. There was a spacious kitchen and the hot tub worked as shown. Highly recommend!
My family and I wanted to kick off Halloween weekend with a cozy getaway, and we came across the Dome, which turned out to be exactly what we needed for our spooky weekend adventure! The area was so peaceful, and the views of the surrounding trees from the Dome were beautiful. One of our favorite parts was the upper deck, where we could relax and stargaze at night. The host was very responsive, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.
Perfect place for a one night stay. Tony was extremely responsive and helpful, the place was just like in the photos and close to hikes and restaurants. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful even though you can hear the freeway traffic noise.
Overall would highly recommend for a weekend getaway!
