The location of the cabin is private, peaceful, and beautiful. We loved spending time out on the water with the paddleboat. It was so peaceful to hear nothing but the water and sounds of nature. The cabin was clean and cozy. The main road to the cabin is dirt and gravel. We drove my boyfriends Ford Fusion and it did perfectly fine. The cabin has all cookware to make meals. The water is well water and it did not have a strong smell. There is 5 gallon Primo water jugs for drinking water. There is also no cell reception at the cabin but there is wifi. Overall we had a great time staying at the Lake Ferndale cabin. We loved how peaceful and secluded the cabin was. Perfect for families or couples looking to spend time in nature and get away from the busy life.
The place was great. I wish there was a TV in each room and a mirror but other than that I was very happy! My favorite is how quickly he responded to every question I asked. I will visit again
This was a great stop over for myself and my family. We used the grill and enjoyed our steaks after watching the most amazing sunset from the balcony. The hot tub was fab and Tony was very responsive to any requests. Extra towels were provided.
I would say that the stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep and the bathroom is downstairs but if you have no mobility issues it’s no problem.
Fabulous views out over the mountains.
This stay was great for our family. By far, the most comfortable beds we’ve had at any AirBnB. Every thing was as described or better in person. We enjoyed evenings on the porch swing enjoying the views, weather and wildlife. We would love to stay here again anytime. One note that we missed during booking, there is no washer and dryer on site but we made do.

Enjoyed the unique round cabin
What a beautiful place! I was there with a group of ladies and we loved staying there. Plenty of rooms and beds, each room with its own private full bath. The kitchen and living room is spacious and serves a fab view from the tall glass windows. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi! We were there only for 1 night and wished we’d stayed longer. Tony is very responsive and a good communicator! Would 100% stay again!
We loved the privacy and great spot. Plenty to do within 25 minutes. Golf Course was great and right there. Loved the amount of privacy and seclusion.
This home is amazing. The sound of the creek makes being on the deck so special. It is very dense forest (in summer) you can barely make out the one other house nearby. Very clean and excellent communications. Highly recommend.

This cabin was perfect for our extended family group to reconnect for a long weekend! There were some hiccups (a fallen tree had completely blocked the road for our arrival!) but we all enjoyed our time together.

Our family enjoyed Tony's peaceful home which felt very cozy yet spacious. The view from the deck was lovely and rain on the tin roof of the screen porch was delightful. A well stocked but clean kitchen that really only had what was needed and not clutter. Very comfortable beds, calming ceiling fan/light feature for reatful night and a very dark master bedroom downstairs. The neighborhood is quiet and remote with nice hiking opportunities but also not too far (20-30 min) from outings like berkeley springs

We have a great time with our small family. The cabin was cozy and exactly as described. There was lots to do in the resort areas. Everyone was very friendly as well. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

This cabin overlooking the Potomac River and its surrounding hills and mountains near the town of Paw Paw, West Virginia is a welcoming home away from home.
We only stayed for a long weekend, but I could have easily enjoyed several weeks (or more!) taking in the beautiful views, exploring the forests and trails, and relaxing in the relative quiet of summer birdsongs, cicadas, and the occasional train.
The hot tub was also a delight, clean and ready to use. The kitchen had many staples like salt, spices, and cooking oil, some left by previous guests.
Our host Tony was great with communication, checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed.
The night sky made an appearance between the clouds during our final evening. There are so many more stars visible here than in the city!
We would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. It is a gem of a place.
