nice get-away with my daughter. From booking to check-out, everything was seamless.

This place was perfect for getting away from the rest of society! It was so peaceful, quiet, and had everything we needed. We arrived while it was raining and it was absolutely necessary to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the dirt hill to the place in the rain. A two-wheel drive vehicle with higher clearance might have been okay, but some of the ridges in the dirt road would’ve been challenging with a smaller vehicle. Tony was super responsive during our stay and provided nice recommendations. Overall, great stay! We’ll certainly look to return here in the future.

I enjoyed staying at Tony’s place.

The Riverside Cabin was as magical as described. It combined camping with modern living by the Shenandoah River. The space is compact enough for essentials and the deck allows you to sit and sunbathe. We enjoyed having the firepit and made it an effort to bring firewood with us as recommended. However, once we got there we found firewood, perhaps left behind by the last guests. It was a pleasant surprise nonetheless and so we left behind some too, for the next guests to enjoy. I would comeback again!

My partner, dog, and I spent a week sitting above the clouds, taking in the breathtaking views and enjoying all the deer, owls, and other critters that played right outside the windows. Hot tub and plenty of dog-friendly trails nearby recommended by Tony were also huge pros. Needless to say we will be coming back!

This was by far the best air bnb I’ve ever stayed in! My husband and I celebrated our birthdays with family and friends it was perfect! From the view, the amenities, to the gorgeous home itself nothing but perfection.
The host was very responsive and helpful, we even bumped into the cleaning staff and they were absolutely lovely. I highly recommend.

Thank you for hosting us! We had a wonderful getaway. The forest is beautiful and the lake looks stunning, though summer heat gives it a slight marshy odor. Swimming isn't possible near the pier due to the shallow, clay bottom, so the beach is best (a 15-min walk or kayak away; no guest parking due to a locked gate). However, this shallow water is a great safety feature for kids—even if they slip from the pier, it's only knee-deep! Fishing was spectacular and the kayaks were amazing.
​The cabin has a nice country-style look, but there is a very strong smell of old furniture inside. Linens were spotless, but the house needs a more thorough deep cleaning to address dust on windows and cobwebs. Lastly, the water has a strong chlorine odor. The kids didn't mind, but being very sensitive to smells, it lingered on my skin and hair for an hour after showering or washing dishes.

Thank you SO MUCH for hosting us! The house was beautiful!! It was very convenient to everything we needed! We found the kitchen to be well stocked to cook in! The gameroom kept the kids very entertained, and the hot tub was well maintained and clean! Tony was great at communication and was very quick to reply! We would definitely stay here again!!!

Tony is an amazing host. The cabin was very nice. I travelled with my elderly parents. We were able to see relatives and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the woods. We did not do much exploring but felt welcomed and cozy. During our stay we see many animals. The most special was an albino baby deer. Thank you so much Tony for making our stay safe and comfortable.

Very nice, clean and homey.

Very responsive owner, very private setting. The actual cabin is less pristine and glamorous than the photos, and most activities were a 20+ minute drive away. That being said, all the amenities were available and exactly as described. The space felt bigger than it actually was. The big windows were a plus, but there’s not much of a view. Overall an enjoyable, easy stay.

My husband and I booked Tony's cabin to simply get away and unplug while our kiddos were at camp. We lead a busy life with 4 kids and two businesses. This getaway was just what we needed.

We loved that it was secluded, peaceful, and beautiful, but still close enough to several places if we wanted something to do.

We spent a lot of time relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the quiet. We also enjoyed the games that were there. The place was clean and spacious.

I truly appreciated the recommendations for local food and drink spots. We love supporting local and enjoyed trying all the spots Tony recommended.

Tony was communicative and checked in every once in a while to make sure we were good - but not often enough that we felt bothered. In fact, it brought comfort knowing he was so easy to reach should we have needed anything.

All in all, it was a great stay and we will definitely book again!
