Perfect Girls Weekend

We had a Galentine’s weekend at Woodhaven and it was perfect. The cabin was very clean and was just the right size for our group of friends. Very easy to find and check-in/out was a breeze. We went out to eat at the local Grille & Pub and all our meals were great! We all said we would love to return.

House very much as advertised. Nice location for hiking. Tony super communicative and easy to work with.

Communication was super quick and transparent! The cabin beds were cozy, everything was clean, the kitchenware was convenient, and I was glad there was a first aid box in the bathroom! I cut my finger while chopping garlic, so it was nice to find bandaids.

Fantastic host and home. Wonderful location and great amenities just a walk or short drive away. Host was wonderful to communicate with and would reply to anything within what seemed like a matter of minutes. Will absolutely stay again!

Stay here. It’s cozy, peaceful, spotlessly tidy, and close to everything—the perfect home base from which to explore the island. The kitchen has a wonderful nook where our family played games after a day of exploring the seashore and the town. The host was very responsive and all the instructions were clear. Would love to return to this spot soon.

We had a lovely stay at Tony‘s cabin! The location is perfect. We enjoyed grilling out, watching the sunset from the porch, soaking in the hot tub, and the peace and quiet of the area. The location of the cabin is in close proximity to Luray, where we enjoyed good food and drinks at the brewery. Communication with Tony was excellent, he accommodated any question or concern we had during our stay.

This historic house is situated right inside the hilly downtown of Harper's Ferry. It's walkable (or maybe hikable considering those hills) to cafes, the historic area, and several hiking trails.

Only great things to say! Tony’s cabin was cozy, clean, beautifully nestled in the West Virginia woods, and was the perfect little getaway for our family. We grocery shopped at the Food Lion in town and were set for two days! Went down to the creek and took in some nature. It was very nice!

The only thing I would suggest is, if you are traveling with a baby, you may want to bring a baby gate! The stairs are pretty steep. Our older two kids had no problem navigating, but we had to keep it pretty close eye on our baby!

Absolutely lovely cabin in a gorgeous location. The deck is completely enclosed - so was great for the dogs to hang out on - and for us watching the sunrise and sunset every day. There are tons of hiking and trails around as well. The pool table in the basement was a fun to have. We spent a week here and my only complaints would be: the furniture and beds are not the most comfortable (after a week you definitely started to notice), and overall cleanliness left some room for desire. Totally understand we’re in the woods (as identified in the listing). But, there were some things that felt more like negligence from the cleaning folks vs. woods-induced dust, cobwebs, and critters.

When i first stumbled upon this cabin on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Tony is the most thoughtful, gracious host.
He was very very accommodating, provided us with all the information we needed and always there when need him.The cabin is just Phenomenal. It is compact, clean and contains everything one needs. I would definitely come again and would absolutely recommend to stay there.

This was overall a great experience! My only suggestion for guests is to bring slippers and sweaters because the main room and kitchen were so cold even though we brought blankets and socks. We were prepared but it never warmed up. The rooms were fine thankfully! Some heating lamps would make this a perfect stay! Tony was a great communicator.

We had a wonderful time at Tony's cabin. Kitcen was well stocked, beds were super comfortable, and the views were great! The fireplace was a very nice addition but be sure to bring your own firewood and kindling. Within walking distance to the Shenandoah River (check the guestbook for directions on how to get there) which was a nice stroll, and then the Kennedy Peak trail just about 15 minutes away was an amazing hike up to 360 degree views! Tony's communication was top notch and expedient which was very much appreciated when I had some last minute questions. This place will always be special to me!
