We came for a long weekend just before the close of the summer season so it was pretty quiet all around the lake. We were there for the nature and to relax so that was perfect for us. Really enjoyed birdwatching from the porch (we had and recommend binoculars for this). We did make it out on the lake, but really enjoyed sweating it out in the sauna and cooling off playing shuffleboard. It was really restful having all this right at hand. Kitchen was great for cooking a little bit (we also loved Brenda's Pizza) and we enjoyed using the wood fireplace. Comfortable beds and super clean. Overall great time and would stay again.

We were here on a girls trip and absolutely loved the layout of the house and incredible views. The house was very clean, the furniture comfortable, and the hot tub enjoyable. Tony was responsive every time I had a question; I never had to wait for an answer. The house was further from town than we thought, about 35 or so minutes, but we were able to go out for the day easily enough and get back in before dark. Overall, this was one of our favorite spots we've stayed and would absolutely recommend it.
A great cabin. Remote location yet easy travel to nearby locations. Clean. Well furnished. Easy check in and check out. Good communication. Pet friendly. The fenced yard was a big hit.
This was an awesome getaway! Being able to be in nature with climate control and a hot tub was so great! Tony was a great host and very responsive and communicative!
This is a cozy clean place for a get away. If you are looking to get out of the rush life brings this is a nice quiet place to spend a few days. It is relaxing to sit on the deck or in the hot tub and just take in the scenery of the woods and mountains. The host was great to deal with and good communication during the entire process, this was my first time using Vrbo and Tony made everything flawless.
Had a great weekend getaway at the Little Bear Lodge! It was super cozy and peaceful. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tun, to warming up inside by the fire. It was nice enjoying breakfast and dinner outside on the screened in porch. The kitchen was well equipped with mixing bowls, pots and pans, as well as other cooking utensils. Thank you Tony for such a wonderful weekend away!

Quiet, secluded, privacy… back to nature!
Negative:
Grounds could have been maintained a little better… lots of potential for beautification but appears that not a lot of upkeep has been done around the property…
No outside trash can to empty into for trash day pick up was available so had to store and leave for clean up crew.. king size mattress upstairs needs to be updated, sags in the middle…
Smell from water initially when first turned on
Recommend bringing bottled water for drinking…
Otherwise loved the hot tub…
Plenty of room and all amenities we needed!
Would stay here again if in the area!
The space was exactly as described. The outside sitting space called our names as soon as we got out of the car. Lol I was in town for work, and this house was right around the turn from Harper's Ferry. The space was large and beautiful, and I wish we could have stayed longer.
House was as expected. Lots to do around the house. Very peaceful. Hot tub was awesome
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A peaceful getaway is what we were looking for and that’s exactly what we got. Tony was helpful and incredibly responsive from start to finish. The house was spotless. The location was perfectly peaceful, we enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to booking with Tony again!

This place is amazing. So beautiful, so quiet, and so relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom, very clean. Definitely will be coming back again.
The place was great. It was super peaceful great way to reconnect with your partner. The hot tub was amazing way to end the day. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely take an other trip there.
