Great stay! Clean and comfortable room. I felt safe being there alone as a young woman.

We will definitely be stay here again if we travel to the area.
What an amazing stay! Harper’s Ferry is special and so is this air bnb. Loved every moment! Gorgeous patio and very clean space.
I can’t say enough great things about staying at this property. My partner and I were looking for a log cabin that was spacious enough, but not too big and in a very private remote area. The view from the back was breathtaking and even better you could be in the hot tub while you’re looking at it. We felt pretty safe the whole time the hot tub was a part of the deck so we can go in and out of the house even in the evening and night as we please very safely the dartboard was a big hit. The living room was beautiful. We had a little bit of trouble finding the property because it’s an awkward turn off of the main road, and the sign says “La Dache” but then it says the address at the bottom- so it took us a little while, but it wasn’t bad! The cabin was clean.
The perfect dog-friendly house in the mountains! The fenced-in yard is such a treat and the home was thoughtfully designed for a family.
Great place to stay with great views! Lots of space for family or friends
The house was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay here.
Private, secluded location. Would have been better if the Hot Tub was working. Host stated the hot tub had been drained and and sanitized between guests. This was not accurate.
Great place! Would stay again.
A walker's paradise - lots of history and the Appalachian Trail nearby. Plenty of space to spread out in the home.
Absolutely stunning location, felt like a dream! Very comfortable beds, plenty of areas to hang out in, and a good place to have a nice getaway from everything :)
Tony was the best his home was the most beautiful home I ever seen it was amazing modern an nice he was so nice an very quick to respond
I went here with a couple of friends and it was the perfect weekend getaway! The views were beautiful and the hot tub was incredible. I really enjoyed using the kitchen (and it came with all the tools I needed/forgot!) Loved utilizing the bonfire area as well and the place was beautiful and spotless. Great mix of cabin/country with an upgraded feel.
My wife and I really enjoyed our weekend away at Wily Squirrel Lodge. The location in the woods is very relaxing and the hot tub is great! The house is very spacious, much more room that we actually needed for just the two of us, but it still didn't feel too large. Plenty of great things to do in the area as well.
The location itself was great - peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Tony was very proactive in reaching out frequently to check if we needed anything, even if we didn't respond. The interior was nice, nothing was particularly out of place and it was all clean and up to standard. The internet worked well, as did all the other amenities (other than I wish the hot tub could get hotter than 102°, but thats just me). Overall the entire stay was great - just know that if you're planning on towing anything in or planning to ride on two wheels, the road in/out is very, very intimidating and isn't going to be good for motorcycles or anything low to the ground, especially if there's been any rain or snow. Otherwise, I'd love to stay at any of Tony's properties again!
We loved our stay in this cozy cabin!
Positive:
We were greeted by two deer upon arrival right by the cabin. Loved the private large yard, outdoor fireplace and porch.
Having a half bath in each bedroom was a plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need for cooking and bathrooms are renovated and super clean. A few details that go a long way: Extra leash left for tenants was a nice courtesy since we brought our dog.
I also enjoyed reading and getting inspired by a few of the books available in the living room.
Negative:
You can hear traffic but most places in the area are located near the road on the flat terrain.
The dome was super cool, great spot, comfy bed, and awesome sunrise view. Tony was very responsive but we had no issues!
If you are looking for a getaway in the woods, this is it. Tucked away in a private lot you can have a camping experience without the tent! Fire pit, grill, woods! Great place for a small family. Lake Anna State park entrance took about 25 minutes to get too. We hiked and played on the beach. Lake access is not a close walk. Especially with littles. Trash was a pain because the dump wasn’t open at 9:15 and they said you need a local Id. We ended up taking the trash home. Eek. Otherwise place was clean, beds were comfy. Setting was nice.
Great, all around
My stay was good. The only thing was how dark it gets and how the lighting isn’t really all that well like you could barely see outside. Also the WiFi kept cutting out for some reason and because it’s no service that’s very inconvenient but overall I had a really nice stay.
