Good place and a good price! We enjoyed runs around Lake Laura and checking-out little nearby spots. This place was affordable and described well. The Blue Maple check-in was a bit cumbersome (you have to go to their rental site to fill out a rental agreement and get house instructions). Though the place was clean and in-good shape, the floor of the kitchen/living space definitely needed a thorough mopping/deep clean - it was was dirty/dusty and we had to wear socks.

We had a wonderful peaceful stay. We took a canoe ride. Drank our coffee on the dock. The sunset view of the lake is amazing! The kitchen is well appointed and a great selection of teas! Only minor complaint would be the water pressure in the shower, but with it being well water, that’s 100% understandable. Overall a great and memorable stay!

Overall the stay was very peaceful and serene. Just a few complaints, mainly regarding the some overlooked details by the cleaning staff. We found that some of the dishes had been put away dirty, as well as multiple cooking utensils were put away with dried food particles still stuck to them. The living room did not seem to be vacuumed/thoroughly cleaned, as there were candy wrappers, and large pieces of food debris found throughout all common rooms. We also noticed an excessive number of fruit flies were continually materializing throughout the first floor bathroom and kitchen areas, indicating a possible problem with some part of the water/sewer system, ie the kitchen sink drain/disposal and/or other plumbing. Also, the upstairs bathroom tub was slippery when stepping into it, as if it had not been cleaned/rinsed completely, plus there were a lot of hairs remaining in the tub, as well as the floor. Other than these issues with the cleaning crew, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Our stay was pretty good! Pros: -Quiet/peaceful location -Indoor fireplace made it cozy -Kitchen stocked with spices, utensils, etc. -Cleaning supplies, iron, and box fans included -Secluded cabin -Very kind and responsive host! Cody was amazing. Cons: -Location is hard to find in the dark -Roads can be hard to drive on in the dark and in the rain as there are no street lights and sharp curves -Bed was very firm -Dishwasher was broken and we were not informed before trying to use it, only after reaching out to the host -Had issues with the hot tub heating up our last night -Location was 30 minutes away from everything, which was noted in the description so it wasn’t a huge deal, just slightly inconvenient Overall, we had a pretty good stay. I will say that it was a little overpriced for the experience that we had. Thank you for having us, and this will be on our list to potentially return to in the future if we need a weekend away!

What a wonderful find…it’s a lovely, peaceful, quiet spot. Cabin is great with everything you need! Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing few days. Tony was a great host, answered any queries very promptly & sorted out our hot-tub issue straight away. The access to the sports complex is such a bonus, playing tennis & the opportunity to swim was fantastic! Would recommend & hopefully will return😀

This luxury home is stunning and very high end with immaculate accommodations. Absolutely 💯 our favorite spot so far. Extremely clean with attention to detail. Rustic modern charm and very comfortable living and sleeping space. Plenty of room with more to spare for our 3 gen family of 5 and two dogs. Absolutely loved the outdoor living space and breathtaking views. Morning coffee while viewing the mountains, Shannandoa River, valley and visiting deer. Nice high ceilings and spacious floor plan. Two car garage made it very nice when packing to leave due to the downpour of rain. Loading was much less a hassle. Fenced yard for pups was nice and the flat road was nice to walk in the mornings with our dogs. Home is pleasantly located at the end of the road with no visible neighbors. At the end of the road there was a bucking trail in the woods. Bathrooms are amazing with rain fall shower heads; very luxurious. Gas grill was located on main floor deck making it easy preparing for dinner. 5?

This property was perfect for our multi-generational family gathering. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, which made it easy to prepare and enjoy all of our meals together without ever needing to leave. The setting itself was quiet and peaceful—an ideal backdrop for quality family time. Some of our favorite moments were spent gathered on the porch, relaxing around the fire pit, and playing games late into the evening. The home provided the space and atmosphere that allowed us to connect, unwind, and make lasting memories. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking a comfortable, well-equipped, and tranquil place to spend meaningful time with loved ones.

Tony was such a nice and helpful host, always responding quickly to any questions we had. The cabin itself is super cute and surrounded by a beautiful forest — we even spotted deer a few times! It’s truly the perfect place for a couple, and we’re already thinking about coming back sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. There were a nice amount of things for the children to do in the basement- which the kids loved. It was a quiet neighborhood and a beautiful country setting. A deep cleaning - and a little outdoor maintenance would have improved the drive by appearance.

Positive: I liked the privacy. Negative: The kitchen had an ant 🐜 issue that I battled every day. I finally bought some ant traps hoping that would help. The carpet in the upstairs bedroom stinks.

This place was perfect for a getaway weekend with my husband! We took the kayak out during the day and enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub at night. We saw LOTS of wildlife including a bald eagle! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are a nature lover. The only inconvenience was there were a TON of bugs at night that were all over the sides of the house and some would fly in when you open the door. But that’s nature so make sure you bring bug repellent.

Beautiful backyard, hot tub, grill and fire pit were a nice on amenities. It was my mom birthday weekend and we had a great time celebrating her at this Airbnb. My only suggestion to the host is having the towels accessible to guests. Other than that I would highly recommend for others to stay here.

Beautiful, spacious and clean cabin with a gorgeous backyard! The house had everything we needed for a relaxing time with a group of 12, including a hot tub, fire pit, grill, and foosball table. Tony was communicative and responded quickly.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! Pros--secluded, peaceful, rustic. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub and looking at the stars! It was pretty clean and the host kept in communication. It was just what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. Cons--The 1st floor bed/mattress is VERY uncomfortable. Definitely needs replaced asap. The cabin could use some overall maintenance repair--there's a cracked window, worn deck steps, etc. Also the unavoidable sulfer water smell. With a few updates, this cabin could be 5 stars. I hope the adjustments are made soon because we'd love to stay again in the future!

This was a perfect spot for 3 of us on a hiking trip! The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus for our sore muscles. If passing through for a hike or coming to the area for a visit I highly reccomend this space!

Overall our stay was good. We played golf and visited local fall festivals. The cabin was clean, and we found the beds comfortable. But, it needs more soft comfortable seating in the living room. Also, the sliding glass doors are older and are tough to operate. Other than that, our stay was good and met our expectations. We had a nice time.

This puzzle I mean house.. wow blown away. I’ve never been in a house that had more secrets to unlock. The quality of everything is wild even the faucets have this wild laser beam of water that shoot into the tub. My favorite part was the obstacle course in the back yard. Man did I get to nerd out in this beautiful home. That optical illusion book was pretty good also. Cannot wait to see your other properties. Ps I accidentally snapped one of the trees in the obstacle course but I left it how it snapped and put a rock stack on it😅🤙🏼♥️ thank you for this wonderful experience

The place was great!! We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and loved watching the humming birds each afternoon. We were nervous about the roads since we were coming in on motorcycles but Tony went the extra mile to verify that the location was motorcycle friendly (except the dust but that is what happens on gravel roads that haven't seen rain in 6+ weeks.

We loved our stay! It was quiet and peaceful. Outside we enjoyed the hot tub and Adirondack chairs. Inside we loved the experience and uniqueness of the space without giving up comfort. There were beautiful views from the bed, great streaming capabilities to cuddle up to watch a movie. The full bathroom and the kitchen had just enough. Tony was very responsive and checked in on us just enough to ensure we were having a pleasant stay.

We stayed at Mink Retreat for our one-year wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time! The space was spotless and very well-maintained, which made it instantly welcoming and comfortable. The host provided super clear instructions that made check-in and the whole stay stress-free. We also really appreciated the thoughtful recommendations in the area. It helped make our long weekend extra special. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Highly recommend!

Everything was as described! Tony was an excellent communicator. Nestled in the woods for peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle, but also close to Berkeley Springs and many other locations. Visited several towns within 1 to 1.5 hours. Was a great central location and blend of a peaceful vacation still full of sightseeing and hiking.

This was the perfect place to have a girls weekend, very secluded and private lots of wildlife and peaceful views. Tony was very responsive to our questions and had no issues getting in. The only thing we would have loved better is if the cleaner who was there alittle before we came would have gotten rid of all the cob webs inside and in the screened in porch, I understand it is a cabin in the woods but there should be no reason it was covered in webs when we first walk in. The beds and rooms were cozy and comfortable. Overall I would stay there again, I just think the cleaner needed better attention to detail.

Tony was very responsive. Nicole and I had a relaxing weekend and it was very peaceful and enjoyable. Some photos did not exactly match the description but did not affect the overall experience. Thank you to Tony and the whole Blue Maple Team for making this experience possible!
