The cabin was just as described. Very secluded and private which we loved! Nice weather so we sat out on the deck and read and enjoyed the quiet. Hot tub was perfect. Plenty of room for the two of us.Had a few questions for the host who answered very quickly and was helpful and friendly. Not far from downtown Berkeley Springs where we enjoyed meals at local eateries, and enjoyed the local play at the art center.

Tony’s place was just what we needed for a relaxing and peaceful weekend. It was spacious but still cozy. The wrap around deck had a wonderful view of the forest and you could barely hear a sound. We enjoyed the short walking loop below the cabin. The hot tub was great! Very clean and worked well. We took advantage of that several times. We did venture into Berkley Springs twice which has a variety of things to offer but mostly we enjoyed the cabin.

Secluded and wonderful! You hear and see so many beautiful birds while sitting on the porch! I’ve traveled extensively but feel this was my most relaxing vacation in years! Berkeley Springs area is darling. We did the hot springs, massages, walked through the local state parks, found the Almost Heaven swing in Cacapon State Park, and wandered through coffee/tea shops, art galleries, and small shops. We can’t wait to go back!

We had an absolute blast staying here for my husband’s birthday! The house is gorgeous, incredibly comfy, surrounded by beautiful woods and trees. It truly had everything we could possibly need for our stay. We loved spending our evenings around the campfire roasting marshmallows relaxing in the hot tub,and playing the great selection of games with our family. The peaceful mornings drinking coffee watching the birds it was amazing ! The host was exceptionally friendly and answered all of my questions almost instantly. My husband was completely blown away by the experience we’d definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back!

When choosing this property, we had a budget and decided to stay a few shorter days to stay here because of how it looked in the pictures. The pictures are accurate in what is there, but we thought it looked more updated in the pictures than what it actually is. I didn’t want to rate it negatively because maybe I should have looked closer,…. maybe, but for the cost I think that made us expect newer. With that being said, it is comfortable and homey. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the many birds that come to the feeders. We also walked the moss trail a couple of times. The host was very accessible and was a very easy check-in process.

Such a relaxing place! The screened porch is perfect for coffee in the morning. It is a short drive to shopping in town or the trails at the state park. The cabin is comfortable and well appointed. Beautiful big windows to watch for forest friends and a wrap around deck that is nice to hang out on….loved it! Jane

We had a great time! The house was clean and had enough space for two people and two dogs. Also, appreciated all the games to choose from. Host was very communicative and instructions were easy to understand. Would stay again.

Whispering Oaks is an immersive experience in nature. The location places you deep among a canopy of oak trees where you cans listen to beautiful birdsong and relax in the peacefulness of the forest. The wonderful wrap around deck affords plenty of space to stretch out or relaxin the hot tub.The house itself is large and affords plenty of space to spread out and read a book, play a game or enjoy a good movie. The host Tony was very easy to communicate with and so helpful with everything. Would most definitely stay here again!Ginny

Tony’s place was exactly what my family needed for a quick, relaxing few days. Tony gave incredible recommendations for local restaurants and the hot tub, screened in porch, and pet friendly policy was all excellent. There were a few maintenance issues that didn’t affect our overall stay, but we would recommend to others!

Tony was very good at communicating. He responded quickly anytime I asked a question. The place was nice. We did have an issue with the air conditioning. Tony sent someone out to check it and it ended up needing the HVAC people to fix it. We were fine because the temperature has gone down to the 70’s for the rest of our stay. There are ceiling fans in the living room and the bedrooms which came in handy the first night when the air conditioning was not working and it was warmer outside. The HVAC guys came the next day as well to fix it. Out of all the Airbnbs that I have stayed in Tony was by far the one that had the quickest response time.

The house was exactly like it looked in photos, very clean, and with a private yard. The host was quick to respond and included a lot of helpful information on things to do in the surrounding area. Would recommend to anyone looking in the Berkeley Springs area!

Amazing property that included our dogs, who loved the screen porch in the beautiful nature setting. We loved the hot tub, making a fire in the fireplace, and cooking up good food on the grill. Host is very thoughtful about items left for guests they may have forgotten. Overall, we a very lovely stay Highly recommend

Positive:
It was a very quiet and peaceful place with a great wrap around porch/deck that made sitting outside very pleasant at any time of day and when it did rain we still had the coveted screen porch which was pleasant also during the rain.
Negative:
We had no complaints about the property. It was well equipped and had everything we needed.

beautiful location and home in the woods. the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because check-in and checkout times were pretty late and early, making it difficult to really enjoy the place. we did only stay one evening. also the TV in the downstairs bedroom is working but has damage, making it difficult to watch something. otherwise everything was perfect. the hot tub was lovely, it’s a 20 minute drive from Berkeley Springs, there are no food delivery options but I believe there are places to eat nearby. pack food to cook and you’ll be all set! the host was very responsive and helpful!

Tony is an amazing host! Extremely responsive, helpful and thoughtful. His place was heavenly! It was exactly as described and shown, but in person it is even more amazing. We felt very comfortable and relaxed the entire time. It is cozy while at the same time offering needed space and privacy. We never heard anything but the sounds of abundant nature outside. The deck, screened porch and hot tub are amazing and we actually ended up staying in a lot more than we had anticipated! When we did go out we enjoyed the nearby Berkeley Roman Baths, Sunday Farmer’s Market and the best pancakes ever at Charlotte’s Cafe. We can’t recommend the beautiful area, or this amazing home and host enough! We look forward to returning soon!

My wife, our little family member dog Faith and I had a great time. We enjoyed the cabin a lot. The peace and quiet, cook outs on the beautiful deck, screened in porch, hot tub and the little town. Great get away! Plus, Tony from VRBO was an excellent host. Big help and quick communication response. We’ll be back! 🙂

Secluded and wonderful! You hear and see so many beautiful birds while sitting on the porch! I’ve traveled extensively but feel this was my most relaxing vacation in years! Berkeley Springs area is darling. Amazing property that included our dogs, who loved the screen porch in the beautiful nature setting. We loved the hot tub, making a fire in the fireplace, and cooking up good food on the grill. It was a very quiet and peaceful place with a great wrap around porch/deck that made sitting outside very pleasant at any time of day and when it did rain we still had the coveted screen porch which was pleasant also during the rain.
