we were visiting Shenendoah National Park. This was home base for us. Tony had clear instructions on how to find the place and get inside. We didn't have any need for additional help, but it seems as though Tony would have been right there with an answer. We especially liked the hot tub after long days. If we were in the area again this home would be a strong contender for a repeat stay.

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and it was just perfect! The little cabin is cozy, clean, and exactly as described. Tony gave great instructions and local tips, which made everything super easy. My favorite part was the beautiful setting by the river and you really feel connected to nature, surrounded by trees and peaceful sounds all around. Such a relaxing and romantic spot, perfect for a couple. I completely fell in love with this place and I hope to come back soon

The view from Hickory Hill would be hard to surpass in West Virginia for daytime viewing and for stargazing. The second-floor bedroom (big loft) also had an unbeatable view both day and night. The A-Frame window lets you see almost as much as if you were on the deck. The upstairs bathroom also had a nice view. The bed was comfy. The kitchen and open living room had everything I needed for a lovely visit. I did not use the hot tub but it looked clean and new. Tony was very responsive and helpful. I will be back in the future!

Had a great one night stay! My kids enjoyed the outdoor space and the fire cauldron. The kitchen was well equipped with basics and we were able to cook on the gas grill easily. Tony and his team were responsive and made for a very easy checkin.

Tony was a great host and promptly answered all of my questions! The house was in a great, peaceful location and perfect for our home base to go hiking. Our dogs really enjoyed the property and we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely book again if we plan to be back in the area!

It was a very Scenic drive to get to this beautiful home. From the minute we walked in, we felt comfortable and at home. Anything we could need was there. I cook most of our meals when we travel, and the kitchen was a joy to cook in, and with the table close by my husband could sit there and visit with me. The master bedroom was very roomy, comfortable bed, bathroom, even a hamper, which was unexpected. We really loved the back deck! It was chilly, but we bundled up and enjoyed our morning coffee out there every morning, listening to the birds and taking in the beautiful scenery. So relaxing! Tony was quick to respond to any questions I had and very friendly. On our stay we went to Luray caverns, did some hiking , drove some of the Skyline drive, and went to Woodstock Brewhouse, great food, beer and wine. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back.

Nice little home in the woods. Host was very responsive and patient. Great for a little family getaway. The kitchen is very basically stocked, so bring any special pans you prefer and something to store leftovers if you cook your meals. The location is up a mountain road, so plan to get in before dark. It is harder to know where you are going at night. The house number is well labeled and in a very beautiful spot in the trees. It was very quiet and peaceful. All in all a great little getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Shenandoah Serenity cabin. It was the perfect combination of old fashioned charm and modern conveniences - the master bath was particularly charming. The place was super cozy and comfortable with great outdoor spaces to hang out in. Everything was clean and there were so many nice and thoughtful touches. We found everything we needed in the well-stocked kitchen. The location was private with beautiful surroundings. It was close to Skyline Drive and the towns of Stanley and Luray. We really enjoyed our time there and we were able to bring our dog which was a huge bonus! Tony was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous views from a cozy cabin with a great hot tub! Could use some extra towels and linens for the beds and for hot tub usage but washer and dryer worked wonders! Take note that you need to bring your own firewood and the dishwasher is not plugged in or attached to water.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay! No complications, friendly host, easy instructions and beautiful area!! The only thing is make sure you’re an experienced driver as the road up to the cabin is quite steep and difficult to navigate. If you take it slow you should be fine!

This place accommodated a group of 5 ladies very well. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with the amenities needed for a weekend. The host was always very responsive to our questions and wanted to make sure things were as we needed.

Beautiful cabin! Loved the amenities offered at the community center, especially the spa. The hot tub was not working during my stay but the host owned the issue and was very responsible with issue. Would stay again!

Tony is an excellent host—super responsive and proactive. We had an excellent time exploring the area, playing golf at The Woods and Cacapone SP (highly recommend), and hiking local trails (the Devil’s Nose trail 15 min from cabin is a great short(ish) hike with amazing views). Despite having neighbors on all sides, the cabin feels super remote and private. We loved spending time by the fire after the long days—our pup did too!

We enjoyed our stay in the King Suite. Tony was a wonderful communicator throughout the booking and our entire stay. Our room was as pictured, and we appreciated the water and coffee and snacks in the downstairs kitchen area. We ate some takeout at the tables there and enjoyed meeting another couple! The location is convenient to downtown Luray, the Shenandoah Valley and Luray Caverns, both of which were impressive. I was a little disappointed in the grounds; the pictures make it appear that it’s more out in the country. All in all, we had a nice stay. Thank you, Tony!

My husband and I went here for a few days to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, it wasn’t really what we expected in terms of cleanliness and accommodation. The floors were incredible dirty that our socks turned black when walking around, and there was trash left behind in the bedroom dresser. The bed in the master room felt off and broken maybe? The mattress sinks in too deep and it wasn’t supportive at all—our backs were hurting afterwards. The bed itself didn’t seem like queen bed (maybe more like a full size). Lastly, the host has a bit too many rules, but specifically, he charges you if you request an earlier check in and later check out. I’ve been to almost 20 airbnbs by now and hotels, and they never charge you for that… I found that a bit odd and maybe over the top. It felt like there wasn’t any flexibility. Aside from the negatives (I know there were a couple), we did overall enjoy our stay due to its quite and peaceful location, and proximity to shops and the town!!

Positive: The cabin was very clean and the furnishings comfortable. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple or two couples to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Providing a cabin manual with links to videos was a wonderful idea.

Bottom line: we had a great stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We got a good Sun–Fri deal and appreciated the option for late checkout (noon, for a fee). Clear communication, simple checkout, and shockingly fast/reliable Wi-Fi - good enough for a techie working remotely - made everything easy. Be aware they ask you to sign another agreement. The hot tub was clean, well maintained, and great at maintaining temperature, right on the beautiful deck. The dishwasher and thoughtful lighting were bonuses. Beautiful fall views and hiking within 30 minutes made for a great location; nearby houses are visible in fall but not super close. Driveway is steep with some potholes, so plan ahead if it’s wet or icy (my rear wheel drive pickup did not love the wet leaves, but there appears to be an option at the top if needed). No ice maker or trays, so grab a bag on the way. I didn't report the malfunctioning washer until checkout, so may be fixed now. Overall, highly recommend!

Lovely stay for a family of 5 with a pup. Impeccably clean. Big yard for pup to run around in (no fence though FYI!). My son loved the climbing wall. Spent a morning kayaking down the creek. Went to a community day in the local town which was super cute (bought apple butter from the high school students making it!). Hikes and other things to do in the area. A couple of things to ask about potentially before you book - The gas fireplace didn't work for us (but the heat did, so we weren't cold), and a cozy fire would have been nice. Also the steps to the creek were broken. Still was able to (carefully!) get the kayaks in the water, but was very tricky. Only an issue if you want to kayak.

This place was great, very private, quiet and relaxing. There was always a fantastic view on the distant mountains and the light in the sunroom off the bedroom was special in the evenings. Perfect for reading or just unplugging and listening to nature.

Tony's Yurt was amazing! Secluded like preferred, great views and the fire pit/ hot tub were everything we hoped it would be. Tony was very responsive with questions too, which eased us in situations. Perfect birthday get away :) Will be back for sure!

Tanya was a great host. very responsive all of the time and very helpful. there are a lot of great breakfasts and dinner spots all around. The Rusty Nail Winery is a must viat attraction. the view from the house was great and so was hot tub.

If you plan on coming in the fall be prepared to hear loud music and intercom noise from the haunted house that takes place next door. Makes it difficult if you want to enjoy a quiet evening

This place was perfect! It was so peaceful and relaxing, with all the amenities we could want. We never ran out of things to do, and didn’t even have to leave the property. We came here for a nice kid-free retreat, but honestly this would be perfect for a family trip too! I’ll be recommending this property to all my friends and family.
