Tony’s house on “The Woods” resort area was great! Very easy to find and easy to check in. I rented it for a girls weekend because it had a fireplace and a hot tub. Both were amazing. Comfy beds as well. We used the Sleepy Creek Spa for massages, facials, and pedicures. The staff there are fantastic, so attentive and caring. Our only complaint would be no restaurants or grocery stores nearby. It’s a trek to get to any kind of food or beverage place. We brought lots of food and drinks so it really didn’t matter, but a dinner or drink out would have been the cherry on top of a great weekend. We hope to stay again in the fall.

This was a wonderful stay. The property is in a peaceful and beautiful forest setting, yet it’s only minutes drive to downtown. Kitchen is fully stocked. The whole place is clean and homey. Host was very friendly and communicative. The house was warm as we entered, and the hot tub was ready. Very comfortable beds and soft sheets. We had a great time.

we had an amazing weekend we pretty must stayed in most of our trip but the time we did go out and about it was beautiful. we cant wait to visit again. The only downfall was my boyfriend was so excited that he might get to see a bear and ever did lol maybe next time

We had a very nice weekend getaway at this Airbnb which comfortably fit 5 adults. The space was accommodating and comfortable and has been beautifully restored. We enjoyed the flexibility of being able to walk into lower Harper's Ferry (cross the small footbridge in front of the house and turn left to follow the trail). The working fireplace was an added bonus. Easily parked 3 cars out front. Location was private yet central.

The location was nice and relaxing. However, we asked for the check-in code several hours before we arrived but received it only minutes before the listed check-in time. We were unable to use the hot tub the first night because of the time it took to heat up, and we were never able to find the remote for the television. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, so we had to use our hotspot to stream movies. There was nothing left to use to start a fire in the woodstove or the firepit, and I don't believe the listing said to bring your own lighter. While the home appeared clean on the surface, there was hair and dirt in the corners and on the floors. Overall a decent place to stay, but we wouldn't recommend it.

This cabin is absolutely ideal! It's in a quiet, peaceful location, but it's easy to find and on a well-paved road. The host, Tony, is easy to get in touch with, and he is proactive with communication. He recommended some local places to eat, and he was super kind. The water has a bit of a sulfur smell, but it is in next to a town known for mineral springs, so I guess that's to be expected. It is also mentioned in the house manual. This is a great cabin, and I hope we can come back someday!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay here. Tony checked in and was very responsive. The hot tub was very relaxing in the cold weather. The space has some quirks but all small stuff. We were closer to other houses than I was expecting based on the photos. Be prepared for a well water smell. It didn’t bother me since I’ve stayed in the area before. The area was really quiet and relaxing.

This cabin was very clean and had some great features, like the fireplace and hot tub. Our only real complaint was one of the neighbors dogs wouldn’t shut up at like 6am, but that’s not Tony’s fault at all.

The place looked just like the photos & had everything you needed. Very well thought out. Tony was very communicative. Only issue was the gas fireplace-it worked very briefly for us on the first day, and then stopped. Tony said his handyman would come out & take a look, but he never did. Overall the place was great, spacious, & love that it was on the river. Would love to come back & stay in the warmer months.

Tony was super great and responsive throughout the entire process! If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend getaway this is your place! The only complaint I have was that the towels were old and used heavily. We used the fire pit and the hot tub throughout our weekend trip which was awesome! There are no houses in sight around it which is nice because it felt so secluded and peaceful.

This place fits the description of cabin in the woods - the charm of the log cabin is perfect for this area. The views of the river and Paw Paw are wonderful. The location is very remote, so be prepared with what you need. The descriptions are mainly accurate- note there is no TV (although streaming is mentioned) or ice trays/means of getting ice. The fireplace worked great! Exploring Berkeley Springs was lovely. A great weekend getaway!

The house was clean and peaceful. We had a great time relaxing by the fire pit but the septic tank kept alarming throughout our stay which required us to go outside in the middle of the night to periodically silence it. It was very loud and disrupted sleep. Unfortunately, maintenance didn’t come by during our stay so it wasn’t resolved before we left.

Booked a brief getaway at the cabin, it was very cozy and had everything we needed. My spouse and I really enjoyed staying there, though we wish we'd known that the woodburning stove was not for guest use. Otherwise it was great for a quiet weekend in the woods.

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the hot tub and we had plenty of room for us and our pups. The cabin was dog friendly and accommodated us perfectly. The game room downstairs was fun and the internet and streaming services on the TVs worked well. The location was scenic but might be a little difficult to maneuver if there was winter weather. We ventured into DC one day, just about 90 mins away. We also drove the Virginia byway for some scenic views and visited the Bluemont General store. We had a nice relaxing stay and Tony communicated well. The cabin is a little older and clearly a rental as there are some touch up spots and some of the items in the house are outdated. We had a problem with the main bath sink being clogged but since there was a second bathroom we had no issues. We notified the owner and he communicated effectively. Overall it was a very nice stay.

A true rustic cabin. Our 2 families has an amazing stay at this cabin in the woods. Host was responsive and helpful. The nearby hiking, fire pit and star gazing was the perfect get away from the city. Bedrooms, Linens and beds were very clean and comfortable. Internet, TVs and kitchen had everything we needed.

Really nice location. Great fire pit and hot tub. Everything you need for a few days get away. Having access to the river (short walk) and the kayak was really good. Only negatives were the sofa bed was dirty and without the mattress topper would have been too hard. Check to see if you have gas (and a spare) for the bbq at the beginning of your stay, we didn’t check and was too late for replacement when we found we had neither which was really annoying for breakfast.

Tony was a great host. The place was very clean, had nice dishes, kitchen accessories and the hot tub was nice. The description states that the location is “in the woods” which maybe it technically is. However, it is in a very dense neighborhood. Very little trees around property. Something worth noting if looking for a more secluded place. Overall, very happy with our stay.

We stayed at Tony's place in January. The mountain top view is nice, but it can be extremely cold and windy. (Check the weather before booking) When we checked in the house was unoccupied and took some time to get the temps up. The kitchen is small but there is a grill in the deck. Basic cooking amenities are provided. The night sky is so dark and full of stars. (Consider if you like stargazing)
