I talked with tony a couple of times about checking in early and leaving late. check-in was 4 o’clock and checkout was 10 o’clock. We wanted to stay later which would’ve been $40 an hour which he was ok with and then he came up with nonsense about maintenance and cleaning lady. There was a hole in the wall in the bedroom. Dust everywhere. Breakers popped due to wall heaters.

We had a great stay at Tony’s place. We loved how “in the woods” the property is. The only hiccup we had was there wasn’t any A/C units installed yet. The listing didn’t really specify that. the A/Cs are seasonally installed. Our second day was quite warm, 80* day. But we made it work! Overall, great place! Our boys loved it! 😊

Location was great! Remote, yet super easy to find. Host was very communicative and made sure to leave all the lights on when i was arriving later so that property was easy to locate. Property had everything needed to relax and "be at home"

Multiple outlets / light switches did not work, so lights were difficult to navigate. Not a biggie in the grand scheme

Arriving at the cabin and going inside the cabin it was cozy. Lack of water from the start was unacceptable. Could not use the bathroom, kitchen sink, or shower. Had to result to buying cases of water in order to fulfill basic needs. I made the host aware from the start and his response was that a handyman would be on the way. After some time Tony stopped responding to my messages. My wife and I stayed at the cabin for three days and nobody showed up to fix the problem. What was supposed to be a nice get away trip resulted in a disaster. I would not recommend staying at any of Tony’s properties and I’m in the process of getting a refund.

Beautiful cottage in the mountains with a very nice view. The cabin was cozy and clean, and beautiful in the snow! Unfortunately, we had to cut our 4 night trip short due to a non-functioning shower on arrival. We were a little disappointed with the response time in having it fixed, but we would be willing to try one of Tony’s other cabins in the area on a future stay.

Our stay was very disappointing and didn’t meet our expectations. The stink and shower had hair in it, the bed sheets had a yellow stain in it, some of the lights didn’t work, no first aid kit, the deck steps felt like they were going to snap when walking down them, heat barely worked, mattresses were hard as a rock, and uneven steps walking into the house. Definitely will not be back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, waste of money.

We came from SC to enjoy alone time for our 5th anniversary and it was perfect! He was amazing when I had to reach out when we made a mistake about not keeping taps dripping and he had someone sent out super quick!❤️ definitely might have to come again, the fireplace was our favorite!

Very rustic and minimal. Steps going down to the property were uneven. Deck was nice, grill was clean. Bottom step into backyard was a different height from the rest, I fell going down. The ground was covered with pine needles and leaves, which cushioned my fall. The property was on a slope, so the fire pit and the chairs were sloped. Very hard to sit down without sliding, even my hot chocolate slid off the arm of the chair. It was comical. The yard wasn’t kept up at all. Nature’s debris everywhere as far as you could see. The house is basic and could use TLC. Kitchen space was small and very little counter space. Most places offer a lot more electrical appliances and cooking equipment. Basic dish ware. Silverware was hodgepodge. Internet access was the best feature along with the television and network services. The lights outback were a nice touch. Watch out for the painting on the wall next to the front door. The dryer outlet and the wall switch are the only thing keeping it hanging

Everything exactly as described. Amenities all included and the property was absolutely beautiful. Wasn’t hard to find at all, cell service was great, and parking in the driveway was easy. All in all would absolutely stay here again.

The perfect little cabin in the woods! Beautiful surroundings & amazing outdoor deck/firepit. The house is exactly as described. We were comfortable even without central AC/Heat. Plenty of linens provided as well. Tony was very responsive and gave great local recommendations. Would definitely stay again!

We arrived late at this location – it is very difficult to find in the dark due to the remoteness.
I didn’t get the code for the house until half an hour after check in and only when I prompted the host.
We bought dried wood to use in the fire place. When we started the fire indoors the entire house was filled with smoke. There was no pull through the chimney and no adequate ventilation – for context it was so bad my throat was sore due to smoke inhalation for 2 days after the trip.

The highlight of our stay was the fire pit, with comfortable chairs and pretty lights! We also enjoyed sitting on the deck surrounded by trees, unable to see the neighbors. The cabin was a little more rustic than I expected (I normally like places that look newer), but it was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Tony was an excellent and prompt communicator.

Had a great stay at this peaceful, clean getaway! The perfect spot for a weekend reset. The place was spotless and well-maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The host was fantastic—quick to respond to all our questions, which made everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a restful escape!

The cabin was beautiful and secluded. The fireplace worked, and the heaters heated up the place well. Only thing to note that there were rat droppings under the sink where all the pots and pans were, which after scrubbing, I still did not feel comfortable using to cook. I notified Tony and he responded, unfortunately didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience but noted that he would talk to maintenance and appreciated the feedback.
They did a good job managing expectations around critters being in a secluded cabin, which I expect is normal to find in such a wooded area. However, I would have hoped that it wouldn’t impact our ability to use all of the features of the airbnb. Hopefully they can move the pots and pans to a more sanitary storage solution! 🙂

This place is great for a quiet, peaceful getaway weekend. We drove into Shenandoah in less than an hour and it was nice coming back here at the end of our hikes. Cleaning fee was $85 but you are still required to do your share of cleaning in the cabin prior to checking out. Fees are also enforced ($80) if you leave later than 10 am, so I recommend doing this in advance so you are not rushing to clean dishes and empty garbage cans on your way out. Would also recommend a later check out time; maybe noon? 10am is way too early to wake up, pack up, get ready, & clean the cabin before the ‘cleaning crew’ arrives.

My fiancé and our dog stayed for the weekend at Tony’s place. We had a great time and the place was very clean. Tony was very responsive to any questions we had. The house had everything you could want for your stay. Very peaceful and secluded cabin in the woods but still within 10 minutes of a small town that had restaurants and a general store. We would definitely stay here again.

If you want to get away from the bustling life of the city for a while and take a deep rest, this place will provide you with the best rest.
My family and I could relax very comfortably in this cozy cabin.
This small-sized mountain’s height cabin was well equipped with new appliances and provided with high-speed internet and the latest smart TVs. My family walked the beautiful trails of Shenandoah and when We returned to the cabin, We’re able to shower with warm water, make delicious food, and have a happy time watching movies on the smart TV.
The road to the middle of the mountain where the cabin was located was well organized for easy access by vehicle. Walking around cabin also provided a wonderful walking time. Our dog also loved walking on the mountain roads.
Tony’s beautiful cabin is a very special resting place and Tony’s service was swift and friendly. We will definitely visit this beautiful lodge again.

This property is in a beautiful private nook in the woods. The birds and sunlight shining through the trees in the morning was a gem. Wifi was good for working remote. Everything I needed was there from utensils and pans, to towels, soap, etc.

Beautiful view of the woods from back deck. Very private–you can see one neighboring house through the trees but it’s not super close. Inside was very comfy and clean. No problems at all with wifi or streaming netflix on the tv. Kitchen had good quality pots, pans, cooking utensils. Recommend eating at Southern Kitchen in town for homemade meringue pie. The house really is surrounded by peaceful, serene woods. Once in awhile a car passes on the road, but other than that it’s very quiet. We crossed paths with a giant toad, a little red salamander, woodpeckers, and a skunk. Very relaxing get away. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Our stay at the cabin was overshadowed by natural events that led to a power outage, leaving us without electricity and hot water. Despite the cabin’s charm, the situation was exacerbated by the owners’ initial insistence on enforcing a cancellation fee when we decided to leave early for these reasons. Thankfully, Airbnb intervened, and the fee was waived. The lack of support from the owners during this time detracted from the experience, prompting us to leave even after power was restored.

Beautiful view of the woods from back deck. Very private--you can see one neighboring house through the trees but it's not super close. Inside was very comfy and clean. No problems at all with wifi or streaming netflix on the tv. Kitchen had good quality pots, pans, cooking utensils. Recommend eating at Southern Kitchen in town for homemade meringue pie. The house really is surrounded by peaceful, serene woods. Once in awhile a car passes on the road, but other than that it's very quiet. We crossed paths with a giant toad, a little red salamander, woodpeckers, and a skunk. Very relaxing get away. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very clean and accommodating, everything you need for a short getaway . But most of all we loved the location, coming from the city it was such a quiet and peaceful place in the woods. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. Definitely recommend.

Our stay at the cabin was overshadowed by natural events that led to a power outage, leaving us without electricity and hot water. Despite the cabin's charm, the situation was exacerbated by the owners' initial insistence on enforcing a cancellation fee when we decided to leave early for these reasons. Thankfully, Airbnb intervened, and the fee was waived. The lack of support from the owners during this time detracted from the experience, prompting us to leave even after power was restored.
